Man dies after falling at Oasis concert at Wembley Stadium
The Metropolitan Police have said that the man was aged in his 40s.
Despite the tragic events on Saturday, organisers said the band's performance on Sunday will 'go ahead as planned'.
In a statement the Metropolitan Police said: 'A man – aged in his 40s – was found with injuries consistent with a fall.
'He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
'The stadium was busy and we believe it is likely a number of people witnessed the incident, or may knowingly or unknowingly have caught it on mobile phone video footage.
'If you have any information that could help us to confirm what happened, please call 101.'
A witness told the Daily Mail: 'It was horrendous.
'The guy fell from a balcony. Paramedics came rushing over. There was a lot of screaming and shouting.
'It was a big fall. God knows how it happened. It was so tragic. I don't know how on Earth it happened.
'It was heartbreaking. He was only young.'
The fall happened during the latest in a run of stadium shows for the band's sell-out Live '25 reunion tour – their first since splitting in 2009.
Wembley Stadium said their concert on Sunday night will still be going ahead.
A spokesperson said: 'Last night, Wembley Stadium medics, the London Ambulance Service and the police attended to a concert-goer who was found with injuries consistent with a fall.
'Despite their efforts, the fan very sadly died. Our thoughts go out to his family, who have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers.
'The police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.
'Tonight's Oasis concert will go ahead as planned.'

Scandal ROCKS Married At First Sight 2026: Groom pulled from the show amid investigation
Married At First Sight 2026 is in turmoil just weeks into filming, with one bride-and-groom pair yanked from production amid an internal investigation. Daily Mail can reveal that Micah Lomu, a Sydney-based finance broker, was removed from filming just days after he tied the knot with cricket presenter Ankita Karungalekar in a lavish multicultural wedding. The couple wed last week at Lindesay House in Darling Point, with Ankita stunning in an intricate sage green and gold lehenga, holding a bright bouquet of yellow and peach blooms. But despite the pair emerging early on as standout favourites among the cast and crew, their fairytale quickly crumbled. Micah has denied any wrongdoing. MAFS producers are said to be investigating the matter - but it remains unclear what formal steps, if any, have been taken. Insiders tell Daily Mail that the newlyweds were told they were 'no longer required on set' after returning from their honeymoon. Neither Micah nor Ankita attended the show's first dinner party, which was filmed on August 5. Ankita has remained tight-lipped since news of the scandal broke – but earlier this week, she posted a cryptic sunset image to her Instagram Story that read: 'Was SO close to having everything I wanted.' Ankita, a cricket presenter with a Master's in Communications from Monash University, told producers she was '100 percent safe, happy and comfortable' to continue the show with Micah – and is currently on 'standby' regarding her future on the show. Cast members have been told the couple are no longer part of the experiment, but insiders say the door hasn't been fully closed. Despite the backlash, production sources say the couple made a strong impression early on and that bosses are still hopeful they can be salvaged. 'The team really liked them – they had great chemistry and brought something different to the mix,' the insider said. 'This isn't a cut-and-dry situation and production are being very cautious about their next move.' The incident has reignited fierce debate over MAFS' casting and vetting process, which producers promised to overhaul after a string of past controversies. Micah – who goes by 'Meekz' online – is the co-founder of wellness brand Surpass Your Limitz, promoting personal growth through fitness and motivational workshops. Meanwhile, Ankita has worked for the Mumbai Indians and Cricket Australia, and was previously crowned runner-up in the Miss India Australia pageant. With the couple now in limbo and producers under pressure to act, it remains to be seen whether they'll return to the experiment – or be permanently cut from the show. Nine is determined to deliver explosive television, so they're taking no chances when it comes to who gets cast. 'Network execs have enforced tough new vetting rules. No criminal records. No previous court appearances. If there's even a whiff of controversy in someone's past, they're out.' But with casting being finalised on the fly, producers are said to be juggling creative demands with last-minute replacements – and it's already impacting the structure of the season. 'They're not playing it safe in terms of personalities – they still want big characters and explosive storylines,' the source added. 'But they can't afford another scandal like last time. So they're walking a tightrope.'

Oasis mania arrives in Edinburgh as Gallaghers gear up for first Murrayfield gig
Oasis maniacs have already started arriving at the staidum with the first of three shows kicking off in just a few hours The long wait is finally over, Oasis are back in Scotland. The Britpop legends are playing north of the border or the first time in 16 years as their Oasis Live '25 reunion tour rolls into Edinburgh. The first show at Murrayfield kicks off tonight, Friday, August 8, with two more performances following on Saturday, August 9, and Tuesday, August 12. More than 200,000 Gallagher fans will descend on the stadium over the three nights. And Oasis fever is already ramping up in the capital, with diehards already starting to make their way to the stadium. Josep Bayarri, his daughter Llúcia, and son Gonçal, arrived early to Murrayfield after travelling all the way from Valencia, Spain, to see the legendary Manchester band. South Korean superfans Songeun Yoo, Seunghyun Chun and Jeongin Choi rocked up to the venue yesterday. They have already spent £3k on merchandise at the official shop ahead of the show, and are seeing Oasis on Friday and Saturday. The Britpop legends kicked off Oasis Live '25 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff before heading to Heaton Park in Manchester for a homecoming. Their most recent performances have been at London's iconic Wembley Stadium. Dublin will be the last city the brothers play on the UK and Ireland leg before Oasis move on to audiences in the US, Asia, and Australia. The epic run of shows will wrap up in South America, São Paulo, Brazil on November 23, 2025. The tour has captured hearts and headlines up and down the UK, with a setlist full of classics like 'Wonderwall' and 'Don't Look Back In Anger' and support from The Verve's Richard Ashcroft and Liverpool rock band Cast. The brothers have tickled audiences with their signature onstage banter and playful remarks during the tour, such as references to their football team Man City, alongside touching tributes to the late Ozzy Osbourne and Diogo Jota. The band have also poked fun at ticket prices, which started at pretty hefty levels but have sky-rocketed to eye-watering sums as desperate fans clamber to see their idols, with Liam cheekily asking at one point: "Was it worth the £4,000 you paid for a ticket?" People have paid over the odds for Oasis' Scottish gigs, all which sold out extremely quick. The cheapest seats began at £74, but went as high as £216 for premium standing tickets and £271 for premium seated tickets. The band released a final batch for the three Murrayfield recently, with buyers required to sign up via Ticketmaster after losing out in the big sale last year. However, sophisticated touts have illegally used multiple identities to impersonate fans and squeeze out genuine enthusiasts trying to get their hands on gold-dust briefs. Elsewhere, ScotRail has added extra train services on the dates of Oasis's three shows in Edinburgh. Gig-goers are advised to gather in the holding area at Haymarket Station after the events where they will be guided to the correct queue. No public parking is available at Scottish Gas Murrayfield. Attendees should instead utilise Park & Ride facilities and public transport such as buses and trams. Fans must take heed of the road closures in place around Murrayfield, too. Police Scotland say the main road closures pertain to Roseburn Street, which runs along the east of the stadium, and Riversdale Bridge, which allows access to Murrayfield by crossing the Water of Leith from the north-west. With the railway line to the south and the Water of Leith to the west, tens of thousands of revellers will be using these two access points as they head into Murrayfield. Roads around Murrayfield, including Riversdale Crescent, Riversdale Road, Saughtonhall Circus, Saughtonhall Terrace, Roseburn Avenue, and Baird Drive, will also be affected. The Record has covered these closures in full. Weather-wise, the weather is to be pleasant on all three days of the gig, with Tuesday to be particularly warm. The first of the gigs is set to welcome some sunshine and mild - but not hot - temperatures. According to the Met Office, Edinburgh's mercury will peak at a comfortable 19C as doors open for the gig at 5pm. There's a very low chance of rain but UV levels are set to be high so precautions against the rays is encouraged. Those with hay fever are also in luck, as pollen levels are to be low all weekend. Met Office Meteorologist Clare Nasir describes Friday as a "mostly fine day, a mix of cloud and sunshine, mostly dry, and temperatures reflecting that, feeling warm yet again in those brighter moments." Saturday, August 9 is to see similar conditions, with the mercury peaking at 20C in Edinburgh, and UV levels again expected to be high. There's a slight chance of rain in the morning, though. The Meteorologist continued: "So, into Saturday, we'll see more rain across the north as well as the west of Scotland, fine conditions elsewhere, and more blue sky across southern areas." The weather is forecast to take a much warmer turn on Tuesday, August 12. The mercury will peak at a piping 24C on Tuesday, meaning those with standing tickets should take extra care in the crowd. Fans can expect sunny spells throughout the day, with cloudier weather by night time, according to the forecaster.

Moment naked man on busy Tube train is confronted by angry passengers who shout 'pull up your f****** trousers!' before kicking and punching him
Irate commuters have turned on a passenger who dropped his trousers in a packed Tube carriage with children present and refused to pull them up again, the Daily Mail can reveal today. Police are investigating the incident on the Hammersmith and City line in east London yesterday at 3.30pm. The suspect, who was well dressed and wearing expensive headphones, caused panic when he began yelling after the eastbound train stopped at Upton Park. He then dropped his trousers and put his belt around his neck. His bottom and genitals were on show, sparking anger and revulsion around him on the train. A passenger stood up quickly confronted him, gesticulating angrily. He politely and firmly told him: 'You need to get off the train'. But the flasher began yelling back: 'f*** off', repeatedly. The commuter said in response: 'What do you mean f*** off. You need to get off the f***ing train. Now. There are kids on here'. The train was busy with children who are currently on their summer holidays from school. When he refused, a group of men then surrounded him and repeatedly ordered him to 'pull your f***ing trousers up'. A scuffle then broke out. The naked man was trying hit them with his belt and the group was punching and kicking him. The men snatched away his belt and pinned him to the floor of the carriage while putting his arm behind his back, still with his trousers around his ankles. Passengers then yelled: 'We've got to get him off'. The man was then unceremoniously carried on to the Tube platform at East Ham and dumped to the floor. He was then pinned down as the commuters tried to alert staff. It appears an off duty police officer was on the train and performed an arrest. British Transport Police have said they are investigating. The suspect has been detained under the mental health act. A spokesman said: 'Officers were called to reports of a man exposing himself on the District Line at East Ham Underground station at around 3.30pm yesterday. 'The man had been assaulted by a number of other passengers and was initially arrested by an off duty officer, before being detained under the mental health act and taken to hospital where he remains. 'An investigation into the incident is ongoing'.
