Iconic Singer Dolly Parton Makes Announcement About 'Special Release'
Longtime Dolly Parton fans or vinyl collectors, this one is for you.
The "Coat of Many Colors" singer went to Instagram to announce that her Live From London concert, which she performed at The O2 Arena in 2008, is now on vinyl and will be available for purchase on Oct. 10. Originally released as a live album on streaming platforms in November 2009, this iconic performance is now coming to vinyl for the first time.
The release also comes in three collectible variants: a standard black, a pink Cotton Candy edition only available in the United Kingdom and a blue skies version, exclusively on Parton's website.
"For the first time ever, my 2008 Live From London concert at The O2 Arena is coming to vinyl, available October 10! 🇬🇧," Parton wrote on Instagram. "Whether you're a longtime fan or a vinyl collector, this is one you won't want to miss!"

The record is set to have 15 tracks and will feature many of the country singer's popular hits, including "Two Doors Down," "Jolene," "9 to 5" and "I Will Always Love You."
The O2 Arena is known for hosting some of the world's biggest acts, which was the perfect venue for this performance. The 79-year-old entertainer headlined two nights there almost 20 years ago, in July 2008, while she was on her Backwoods Barbie Tour. The show was also filmed and aired on PBS.

London is set to go cat crazy this summer when one of the UK's most dazzling feline events arrives in the capital. The Fancy Cats London SpeCATular will transform the University of Greenwich's Avery Hill campus into a paradise for cat lovers on August 30 and 31. The event promises a celebration of all things feline, with pedigree breeds and household cats competing for titles, prizes, and the coveted Best in Show. "I have quite rare breeds that perhaps not many people know much about so it is a good opportunity to raise their profile and to allow a new audience to discover them." The show will also highlight the work of cat rescue organisations. At a previous event, Kool Cat Rescue found homes for four kittens after visitors met them at the show. "We are delighted that four of our kittens will have now found new homes through our presence at their last show."
