Once again, the Motorola Razr (2024) is $200 off and worth your attention

If you recall, Amazon unexpectedly slashed prices for the latest Motorola Razr (2025) last week. Then, the promo ended just as unexpectedly. But not all is lost, provided you don't mind getting last year's model. Right now, the official store lets you save $200 on the Razr (2024). That makes it the perfect fit for flip phone fans looking for a solid bargain. $499 99 $699 99 $200 off (29%) The Motorola Razr (2024) is super-hot bargain once again, thanks to Motorola's latest discount. Possibly for a limited time, you can buy the budget flip phone for $200 off its original price. The official store only has the Spritz Orange and Beach Sand models in stock right now. Buy at Motorola In case you're wondering, Amazon doesn't match Motorola's price cut. However, the same bargain is available at Best Buy, so feel free to grab it over there if you prefer that merchant. Just a note: the Motorola Store only has the Beach Sand and Spritz Orange models in stock. It might be last year's phone, but the Razr (2024) is still a pretty good-looking device. With its vibrant colors and vegan leather back, it's designed to turn heads. Of course, it takes more than looks to make a device worth considering, and this one doesn't disappoint. On the outside, it features a 3.6-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The main display measures 6.9 inches and supports a smoother 120Hz refresh rate. With vibrant colors and superb brightness, the Android phone delivers excellent visuals. In terms of camera performance, you can't really expect wonders. The model packs a 50MP main sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide lens, but photos tend to look slightly oversharpened. Don't forget to check our full Motorola Razr (2024) review for camera samples. Under the hood, you have a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chip. That one doesn't excel on performance tests, but it delivers enough horsepower for a smooth everyday experience. At the end of the day, the Motorola Razr (2024) is a solid package. Sure, its processor might not be top-of-the-line (the same goes for the camera), but it still packs a punch for its price. And now that you can buy it for $499.99 instead of $699.99, it's an even easier choice. Get yours at the Motorola Store while this deal lasts. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! Will you still buy the Galaxy Z Flip 7 if it uses this application processor?

If you're planning on buying a Galaxy Z Flip 7 , how closely have you been paying attention to the rumored specs of the phone? One area where the clamshell foldable might contain a surprise is under the hood, where the homegrown Exynos 2500 might be found. The 3nm Exynos 2500 application processor was supposed to be employed on Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ models in most markets except for the U.S., China, and Canada. As a result, allhandsets, from theto the Galaxy S25 Ultra , were equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy AP. This little maneuver cost Samsung an additional $400 million dollars. So why is Samsung using its Exynos chip for the? After all, the Galaxy Z Flip 3, Flip 4, Flip 5, and Flip 6 have been the most popular foldable phones worldwide over the last four years, and the Exynos chips have been known to overheat, not perform as powerfully as Snapdragon APs, and be less energy efficient than Qualcomm's chips. And there is the cost savings that Samsung will be able to take advantage of by using its own in-house chipset built by its own foundry. According to a tweet from Abhishek Yadav, the Exynos 2500 AP produced a GPU OpenCL score of 18,601 . That puts it in line with the OpenCL scores generated by the Snapdragon 8 Elite and the MediaTek 9400+. That sounds like good news for those interested in Samsung's upcoming clamshell foldable. On the other hand, the CPU scores were not as good, with single-core and multi-core scores of 2,313 and 7,965, respectively. If Samsung Foundry gets this job, the whole industry should be prepared for a major shakeup

Last year, Samsung Foundry's inability to make enough Exynos 2500 APs due to Samsung Foundry's low yield cost Sammy a ton of money. The original plan was for Samsung to power the base Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25+ models in most markets with the homegrown Exynos 2500 AP. Unable to build as many Exynos 2500 SoCs as it needed, Samsung ended up using Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy APs on all models which cost Samsung an extra $400 million that it hadn't expected to need. Samsung faces a similar issue with next year's Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 + models. The difference this time is whether the company's foundry can manufacture enough Exynos 2600 chipsets. A foundry's yield is the percentage of chips manufactured from a silicon wafer that are defect-free and have passed Quality Control. Most foundries aim for a 70% yield before they start to mass produce a certain SoC. Low yields can lead to higher manufacturing costs and result in a customer paying higher prices for their chips. Leaker @Jukanlosreve says that Samsung Foundry is in line to get an important order for chips from Nvidia. | Image credit-X Samsung Foundry is trying to make a comeback. As we noted, it hopes to improve its 2nm yield fast enough to produce enough Exynos 2600 APs to power the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 + in most markets except for the U.S., China, and Canada. That could make those phones the first to employ 2nm chipsets. A report out of South Korea today suggests that Samsung Foundry is hoping to get a contract from Nvidia to build its next-gen GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) using its 2nm process node. Because GPUs use parallel processing allowing them to perform many tasks simultaneously, they are more suitable for use as AI accelerators than CPUs (Central Processing Units) are. CPU's use sequential processing which make them less useful for AI. AI accelerators significantly speed up the processing of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning workloads. The latest yield rate for Samsung Foundry's 2nm process node is 40% and by the end of the year, it is expected to hit the level that will allow the foundry to become a legitimate alternative to TSMC. Getting Nvidia's GPU business could help Samsung Foundry's reputation (which needs a shot in the arm) and its market share. At 7.7% during Q1 2025, Samsung Foundry is well behind TSMC's global market share of approximately 67.6%. Samsung Foundry might already be on the rise as it built the Nvidia designed Tegra T239 SoC that powers the popular Nintendo Switch 2 game console. The foundry used its mature 8nm Deep Ultraviolet (DUV) process node to manufacture the component taking the Tegra business away from TSMC. Secure your connection now at a bargain price!
