Sharon Osbourne reveals Ozzy's final words about fans after her wish came true
Ozzy Osbourne's widow Sharon Osbourne has spoken about his farewell concert, Back to the Beginning, which was held in Birmingham just two weeks before he died last month The late Ozzy Osbourne 's widow Sharon Osbourne has shared a comment that he made about his fans before his death. She's also revealed how his final concert fulfilled an ambition for her when it came to his decades-long career. It was announced last month that Ozzy had died, aged 76, on July 22. The news came just over two weeks after he had reunited with his former Black Sabbath bandmates for his farewell gig Back to the Beginning in Birmingham on July 5. Sharon, 72, opened up about the concert in an interview, published this week, that took place just five days before her Ozzy's death. It comes after Sharon Osbourne broke down in tears at Ozzy's funeral in heartbreaking scenes. Dave Edmunds critically ill in hospital after Christmas No 1 singer dies in wife's arms Whilst speaking to Pollstar on July 17, Sharon said that, on the night of the concert at Villa Park, Ozzy had expressed surprise over the amount of support he had received. She told the outlet that they sold 40,000 seats at the stadium itself, though the one-off gig was also livestreamed. She recalled: "He turned around and he said to me that night, he said 'I had no idea that so many people liked me'." When asked why he would have felt like that, Sharon said that her husband had "always" lived in his "own bubble". Sharon described Back to the Beginning, which is set to be released as a concert film next year, as a "huge success". She said that it proved to be a "phenomenal event" and reminded that it was raising money for three charities. She suggested that it's the first time that an artist has gone into retirement with a livestreamed charity gig. Sharon said in the interview published earlier this week: "So it's the first time anybody has said goodnight like that, it's the perfect way, when you've had such a long career, to end it." The former X Factor judge, who was once Ozzy's manager, added that she had always wanted her husband to retire with a "big event". Sharon told the outlet: "I never wanted Ozzy to just disappear without some big event." She said that it was the "best way" to retire. Sharon said that it brought him "home" to Birmingham "where it all started" and was at his favourite stadium, which is home to his "beloved" Aston Villa. She said that it was "just perfect". The build-up to the concert is set to feature in the upcoming documentary Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home, which is due to be released by the BBC on August 18. The project, which initially followed Ozzy and Sharon as they moved back to the UK, was filmed over three years. It's been described as a "moving and inspirational account of the last chapter of Ozzy's life," with the broadcaster adding that it features the late singer and his family. They are said to be seen dealing with his ill-health and preparing for his final performance in the one-hour film.

But Jake's recent Instagram post has baffled some fans, as he shared a video of Leo who was in his pyjamas on the bed with a bottle of milk. The adorable tot, who is four-years-old, was claiming to have seen his grandad, Jake's dad, in their home. Jake's dad, Paul Quickenden, passed away in 2008 after battling a rare form of bone cancer. The star, in disbelief, wrote: 'I don't know whether to be totally terrified or cry my eyes out here, me and Leo was just playing in my room and he randomly just started saying this stuff, literally out the blue!! 'He then described him and everything lol he's seen a couple pics but yeah total madness. What would make him come out with that??? They say kids see.' But some fans were more focused on the bottle that the four-year-old was drinking from, questioning if he was 'too old' for it. One person wrote: 'A little old to be still drinking from a bottle!!' A second added: 'Why is this kid still drinking a bottle of milk? He's way too old.' Jake Quickenden breaks down in tears and sobs over fears for baby son A third penned: 'Why's that child still drinking from a baby bottle ???' And another added: 'What's more scary is the kids drinking from a baby bottle.' But others were quick to share positive comments about Jake's sweet post, with one person writing: 'Awww this is so cute,' a second penned: 'Wow, this is so beautiful Jake,' and a third said: 'Your little son is so cute drinking his milk!!!! Adorable xxxxxxx' Another fan defended Jake's decision to give his son a bottle, adding: 'Imagine posting a video of your child saying something so emotional and beautiful. In clean pyjamas, in a cosy bed, smiling and chatting with his daddy… only to have people pick up on the fact he's drinking from a bottle. The internet sucks sometimes, honestly. My son is 4, he has ASD and still only uses a bottle to drink from. If he chooses to drink from a bottle for the rest of his life then I will be getting us matching ones. Let's do better folks.' Jake first rose to fame on the X Factor back in 2012 and while many have faded into obscurity, Jake Quickenden has firmly cemented himself as a household name. But, recently, the 36-year-old admitted there's a dark side to it all, which rarely gets talked about but affects everyone in the industry - money. Jake told us: 'I'm always worrying about work, you see work come and go, you're wondering when your next job's coming in. 'Obviously you go on a show such as Big Brother and you're loved by some people and hated by others, and there's a lot of factors that you have to think about with reality TV. 'It can be a tough place to be sometimes.' As well as the X Factor, Jake has appeared on I'm A Celebrity, Dancing on Ice, SAS Who Dares Wins and MasterChef to name a few. He has also appeared in a number of stage roles and is making a name for himself in the theatre world. Speaking to The Sun via WhichBingo, the dad-of-three said: 'I'm obviously worried from job to job because money is the main thing that kind of keeps you ticking over. 'You want to pay your mortgage, you wanna be able to go on holiday when you choose and stuff, so I guess there's always a worry if you're not working, that you're not earning money. 'I'm not a multi-millionaire, but I've got savings in case some work doesn't come in for a year and I'm auditioning and it doesn't go my way. 'You've got to use your head and think, in the past when I was younger I'd probably just spend all my money and blow it and then not think about the consequences, but when you're a father and you've got a family and a house and a car to pay for then you do have to put a bit of money away for a rainy day or in case work's not coming in.'

Labour's freebie scandal rears its head
It wouldn't be recess without a sleaze scandal, eh? Now Sir Keir Starmer's wife is in the limelight, after it transpired that she has accepted yet another set of freebies. Victoria Starmer accepted free tickets to Royal Ascot worth hundreds – almost exactly a year on from when Lady Starmer and the Prime Minister were embroiled in a freebie fiasco row over free clothing and hospitality. Dear oh dear… Sir Keir's register of interests revealed that Lady Starmer nabbed £650 worth of tickets for her and two family members to attend Royal Ascot, as reported by the Express. The Prime Minister himself wasn't lucky enough to benefit from the gifts this time, however, as he was busy getting ready to greet Donald Trump ahead of the US President's trip to Scotland. The revelation comes just ten months after the PM was forced to pay back £6,000 worth of gifts he received from wealthy donors. Starmer chose to cough up the funds for six Taylor Swift tickets, four Doncaster racing tickets and the clothing gifted to his wife from Labour donor Lord Alli. Alright for some! The PM received a rather lot of backlash over last year's freebie fiasco – with ex-Tory prime minister Boris Johnson fuming on LBC that '[Starmer] must be worth a bob or two. Why has he got some guy paying for his spectacles?'. Meanwhile Labour peer Harriet Harman blasted Sir Keir's handling of the freebie fiasco on a Sky podcast, saying that the Labour leader should stop trying to 'justify' the gifts as it is 'making things worse'. And Lady Starmer's latest set of gifts risks bring the controversy back to the fore again. Whenever will they learn…
