The central American side, ranked 56th in the world, stunned the World Cup semi-finalists last weekend in Bunbury and were threatening to repeat the feat on Tuesday evening at HBF Park.

A clean finish in the 84th minute from Lineth Cedeno saw the Matildas facing the prospect of just one win from their four games in the west against Panama and Slovenia over the last fortnight.
But Grant tapped in the winner early in added time to hand Montemurro and his side a confidence boost heading towards a home Asian Cup, to be held next March.
The Matildas were without some 19 first-choice players including the likes of Teagan Micah, Mackenzie Arnold, Alanna Kennedy, Ellie Carpenter, Steph Catley, Clare Wheeler, Kyra Cooney-Cross, Katrina Gorry, Caitlin Foord, Mary Fowler and Sam Kerr.
Absences and injuries forced eight changes from the side that lost 1-0 on Saturday with Chloe Lincoln making her starting debut as goalkeeper with returns for Charli Grant and Amy Sayer.
After 34 minutes, a costly turnover from Jessika Nash gave Panama's Ericka Aruaz the chance to send a brilliant strike past Chloe Lincoln for the 1-0 lead.
But in the 55th minute Heyman levelled the scores, tapping in her 32nd career goal for the national side off a Raso assist.
With the Matildas in the ascendancy it wasn't long until Heyman added her 33rd, again combining with Raso to head home a second goal.

There's mixed news for the Rabbitohs who will again be without Latrell Mitchell, but they do get Keaon Koloamatangi back in the front row after initial fears that a foot injury would end his season. Cody Walker will again come off the bench against a Dragons side that will be without Jack de Belin, Hamish Stewart and Hame Sele after the trio all entered concussion protocols. The Roosters will be without high-flying winger Daniel Tupou (concussion protocols) for the game against the Eels, with Junior Tupou replacing him on the left wing, while Siua Wong returns in the back row. There's a triple boost for the Warriors who welcome back Te Maire Martin, Rocco Berry and Kurt Capewell for their clash with the Titans who get Brian Kelly and Jojo Fifita back in the centres. And the Dolphins get veteran props Felise Kaufusi and Francis Molo for their must-win game against Manly, while Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow returns to fullback with Trai Fuller dropping back to the bench.

South Africa pace spearhead Kagiso Rabada was Tuesday ruled out of the three-match one-day international series against Australia because of inflammation in his ankle. Rabada played all three Twenty20s in the preceding series between the teams but underwent a scan on Monday after feeling discomfort. Trainer Clayton Douglas unlikely to target The Everest with Giga Kick
Giga Kick is unlikely to have a third crack at The Everest this spring with trainer Clayton Douglas preferring to negotiate one hurdle at a time. Giga Kick posted an amazing win in the 2022 edition of The Everest to complete a five-race winning streak to start his career before returning in the autumn of 2023 to win the Group 1 All Aged Stakes and Doomben 10,000. But, surprisingly, Giga Kick hasn't won a race since. An injury derailed his 2023 spring before he went down narrowly to Bella Nipotina in last year's Everest. Giga Kick ran second in the Group 1 Goodwood in Adelaide in May but finished three lengths from classy mare Joliestar at his last run in the Group 1 Kingsford Smith Cup at his last run in June. Douglas said Giga Kick's recovery from his latest Queensland trip delayed his start to the spring. 'He was a bit flat after his last run in Queensland so we haven't got up him at this stage,' Douglas said. 'Therefore, it's more than likely he won't be going to The Everest this year. 'He'll potentially just have a Melbourne spring but you never know. 'He's six now so he's not getting any younger and he hasn't won a race since he was three.' Douglas said Giga Kick hasn't reached the galloping stage but he would ramp up the gelding's work leading up to a possible return in a Group 2 race during the Caulfield Cup carnival. 'There's potentially a race like the Schillaci for him first-up,' Douglas said. 'We're just going to poke along with him. 'He's a star horse but I'd love to see him get back to his best form and winning races. 'The 1100(m) should be good for him first-up.' Douglas hadn't locked in Giga Kick's spring program but noted he had many options for the winner of more than $12.8m over the next three months. 'What he's done is what he's done and he's been a star of the sport but there's so many sprint races around,' Douglas said.
