Brazilian social media star Gordinho Maniçoba has died at the age of 27.
The news was confirmed by the comedian's sister, Joelma Vatapá, on his Instagram story on Wednesday.
'I wanted to give you a lot of information, but unfortunately the news is not good,' a visibly shaken Vatapá said in a video.
'Our icon, the idol of many people and who brought joy to everyone ... Unfortunately, he passed away this morning.'
Vatapá did not reveal Gordinho Maniçoba's cause of death.
'The one who made us laugh so much ... today brings tears of longing,' she wrote in a separate post.
'But in our hearts, he will always live on, in the memories, in the gestures, in the stories that will never be erased.'
Fellow internet humorist Bob Fllay revealed in a social media post that Gordinho Maniçoba was found dead by his mother.

His last post on Instagram was Saturday when he broke the news that he had reached 30,000 followers on Facebook.
'We're growing there slowly without going over anyone,' he wrote. 'Gratitude and let's go up.'
Although he had been relegated to a wheelchair since his childhood, he used his fame to raise awareness for people with disabilities.
Gordinho Maniçoba sought public office in 2022 when he ran for representative of Pará under the Brazilian Democratic Movement, but was not elected.
On May 31, he celebrated his one-year engagement with his fiancé, Isa Gomez.
'You will always be in my heart,' she wrote in a heartbreaking Instagram post that featured a reel of pictures.
'Your departure has left a void that will never be filled, but your memory and love will stay with me forever. Thank you for being my companion, my friend and my love. You will be deeply remembered and loved.'

'Sadness doesn't suit someone who spread so much joy wherever he went, but today it's impossible not to feel it,' read the caption of Helder Barbalho, a local youth group leader.
'The departure of @gordinhomanicoba leaves a huge void, of a person who always spread smiles, both on and off social media. His energy was unique, and now he leaves behind the legacy of someone who lived in the world. All my solidarity to his family, friends and admirers.'
Brazilian TikToker Rosivaldo Tavares, who was featured on a skit that drew more than 160,000 likes on Gordinho Maniçoba's Instagram in March, described the special bond they.

'Despite the pain, I remember the happy times we spent together. You will always be remembered fondly. The love that united us is eternal, and even though you are no longer here, it remains strong in my heart.'

David Beckham puts on proud display ahead of 'upcoming knighthood'

Football icon David Beckham, who is rumoured to be on the King's Birthday Honours List, was pictured at an Inter Miami training session on Friday David Beckham was all smiles while chatting to pals during an Inter Miami team training session on Friday. The football star, who is rumoured to be being knighted in the King's Birthday Honours List this week, looked relaxed as he chatted with head coach Javier Mascherano and another person. If the star, who recently celebrated his 50th birthday without his eldest son in attendance, does receive a knighthood, then he officially becomes a Sir, and his wife Victoria will be a Lady. Amid the reports, Inter Miami co-owner David was pictured kicking a ball during a team training session on Friday afternoon. ‌ The football icon, who is said to be locked in a feud with his eldest son, Brooklyn, looked cool and casual in a grey t-shirt, black sweatpants, trainers and a white baseball cap. ‌ READ MORE: Disney+ drops to £1.99 in rare deal Netflix and Amazon can't beat At one point, he took a break from training to sit by the sidelines under the blazing sun. Meanwhile, the training session comes after he was snapped attending a Royal event this week, hosted by King Charles himself. The footballer was snapped attending the King's Foundation Awards ceremony at St James' Palace in London – before the official announcement of his long-awaited knighthood. He looked dapper in a navy blue double breasted blazer, striped blue shirt and a grey tie for the lavish event. Amid the family feud, it has been said that David didn't tell Brooklyn, who is married to Nicola Peltz, about his reported knighthood. Instead, Brooklyn reportedly learned of his father's happy news through the media. ‌ A source for Brooklyn told Page Six he was thrilled his dad was finally receiving the honour, while a source quoted as someone close to his parents told the publication: "Brooklyn told his family he wants no contact and he's not responding to those that try to connect." Now, the 26-year-old star has shared a picture of a tattoo that could be perceived as a tell-tale sign about where his loyalties lie. The image shows the tattoo on Brooklyn's upper back that is based on a note Nicola, 30, wrote to him before their wedding in April 2022. Tattooed in a stylish calligraphy font, it reads: ‌ "My forever boy. Read this anytime you feel anxious. I want you to know how deeply loved you are. You have the kindest heart I've ever met and hope I never go a day without your love. "I think you are so incredible. Just know we can get through it all together if you breathe slow and trust. I love you beyond. Love always, your future wifey."

Not Going Out, review: Lee Mack has to be the funniest man on TV right now

I didn't watch Not Going Out (BBC One) when it launched in 2006 because, well, I was going out. Now I've reached the stage of life where watching an easygoing sitcom is a perfect Friday night in. That's middle-age for you. On this basis, I can't tell you if it has always been good, but the 14th series – this is the UK's second-longest-running sitcom after Last of the Summer Wine – is a hoot. Lee Mack has to be the funniest man on TV right now, what with this, Would I Lie to You? and The 1% Club. He brings his stand-up skills and talent for physical comedy to Not Going Out, playing a fictionalised version of himself opposite Sally Bretton as his wife, Lucy. We've skipped a few years since the last series in storytelling terms, because Lee and Lucy are now empty-nesters settling into a new home after their children have left for university. In another new development, the half-hour episodes are now filmed in real time, which helps to amp up the farce. The first episode culminates in Lee having to fish something unmentionable out of a loo during a house viewing, then trying to sneak it out in his pocket without bringing it to the attention of the homeowner (played by Mike Wozniak). It's puerile stuff, and it made me laugh like a drain. Fellow critics have been sniffy about it over the years, with the Guardian calling it 'unapologetically retro' as if that were a bad thing. Actually, it's the Office-style mockumentaries and Fleabag -esque looks to camera that feel old hat these days, and hopefully we're past the phase where every new commission had to be an issue-led comedy exploring a facet of mental health. A show working hard to make us giggle by packing in more jokes per minute than most TV comedies do per episode is what feels refreshing now (and yes, I know Mrs Brown's Boys tries to do the same, but it's terrible). The only themes that come up in Not Going Out are being a 50-something man hankering after his youth – by trying to bag some Oasis reunion tickets – and being a 50-something man who's a bit of an idiot but whose wife loves him anyway. Mack's comedy heroes include Tommy Cooper and Eric Morecambe, which is evident in the gags. 'My neighbours are lovely people, we're very close.' Lee: 'That's neighbours for you.' Or: 'This watch belonged to my late father. It doesn't keep very good time.' Lee: 'Explains why he was late.' Mack delivers these lines with a deadpan commitment. Bretton takes a different approach, almost wincing at the script and anticipating the reaction of the live studio audience. The producer, Jamie Rix, is the son of Brian Rix, so knows a thing or two about crafting a good farce. There are six episodes in this series. Half of them take place in the house, while the other three are set in a hotel room, the set of a Game of Thrones-style drama on which Lee and Lucy have found work as extras, and a camper-van. The last of these is a horror spoof featuring a great cameo from Felicity Montagu (Lynn in Alan Partridge) as a deranged camper. It's stupid fun. Stay in and watch it.

One thrilled customer raves: "Bought this a month ago and found it easy to set up. The sound is really top quality and whilst I didn't pay the top price for it, it was worth every penny. My choice was made in part as we have an LG tv and therefore compatible with its remote control. Works with Alexa but I am still learning the functions." Another shopper shares: "It's incredible! Not much money for cinema quality and the surround sound is immense. Had the previous version and this is a massive upgrade. Well done Meridian with LG, very well done." And this buyer beams: "I've owned several soundbar and subwoofer sets, and while they've been okay, they've also been lacking. Then, I bought a Sky Glass, and what screen was lacking, I thought was made up with the inbuilt Atmos Soundbar, I was wrong. This soundbar sounds amazing. Clear voices, deep and full bass, and room filling sound. I've had to buy acoustic pads to go under the subwoofer so as to not vibrate the flat downstairs ceiling. But apart from that it fills the room with sound without the volume being objectionable, in fact, if you go into another room and close the door, you won't hear it anywhere near as loud as you'd expect. It's crystal clear with all sources. Music and Movies sound especially good on it. It feels like a true home cinema system, and when paired up to an LG OLED TV, the Wow Orchestra feature adds another layer of sound, so it feels like you are in a bubble of audio. It's just amazing, and for the price it is now, a bargain considering the audio quality."
