John Denver
, to life.
In his Instagram stories, the actor shared that he was immediately drawn to the character's spirit of a fighter. Little did he realize that portraying John Denver would mirror his own personal struggle. Preparing for the role demanded intense physical training and mastering combat skills, a process that took several months of hard work and dedication.
He wrote, "When John Denver came to me, I was instantly in love with the fighter in him—his resilience, the way he endures through challenges, and how he always refuses to give up."

Tragically, during the initial phase of shooting, Asif suffered a major injury involving meniscus and ligament tears. This forced him to spend weeks bedridden and confined to a wheelchair, wiping out all the progress he had made over a year of preparation.
He also said, "'Tikitaka' is a movie that demands a lot of sweat and blood. For me, it was a journey of several months to physically transform and master the art of fighting. I think I can confidently say that I gave it my all. When we started rolling in 2023, an unfortunate accident hit me during fight training, followed by bedridden days, several weeks on a wheelchair, and the worst part—losing all the progress I had made over a year to prepare for the character. Unlike John Denver, I cried like a child on the hospital bed."
After eighteen months, he resumed shooting with renewed vigor, pushing through the pain and challenges of healing to meet the demanding physical requirements of the film.
Recently, the director Rohith VS confirmed it is set for a theatrical release during Christmas 2025.

Vishnu Vishal shares update on 'Irandu Vaanam' as film enters 150th day of shoot!
Actor Vishnu Vishal , who plays the lead along with Mamitha Baiju in director Ramkumar 's film Irandu Vaanam, on Tuesday announced that the film had entered its last day of shoot. Interestingly, Vishnu Vishal also pointed out that the day marked the 150th day of the film's shooting. Taking to his X timeline to put out the update, he wrote, "Last day of #IranduVaanam... 150th day of been a journey that you also will get to feel on the big screen soon.... @dir_ramkumar has cooked something unique and interesting you @SathyaJyothi."
