This Morning star in tears over daughter's emotional milestone
Rochelle Humes talks telly, renewing her vows with her JLS star husband Marvin and opens up movingly about why she 'cries every year' when it comes to her three kids
Between hosting top TV shows such as This Morning and The Hit List , parenting her three children and running a business, you'd think that Rochelle Humes would run the risk of being totally strung out. However, as OK! sitS down for an exclusive interview with the 36-year-old, she appears effortlessly chilled out.
Alongside her flourishing career, Rochelle is known for her relationship with her husband, JLS singer and fellow TV star Marvin Humes, who she married back in 2012. Often sharing sweet posts to one another on social media and even working together, it's clear that they are still smitten with each other.
So what's their secret? Chalking it down to mutual respect and time out for themselves amid the chaos, Rochelle explains, 'We both love each other and love our family but we also love what we do, and that's something we've both always been at peace with.'
She adds reflectively, 'We've always met each other in that vein. We also make sure that we shine but don't shine at the same time, which is important to have. So, he'll be on tour with JLS at the end of the year and I'll be very grounded and there to support him.'We make sure that when we each have separate things, we support each other at that time. I think it's just communication really, there's not a big secret, I think it's just that we've got respect for each other. That's the bottom line.'
Three years ago, Rochelle and Marvin, 40, decided to renew their vows, and it's something she says they've decided to make a bit of a tradition. 'When we got married, we said we'd do it every 10 years!' she smiles. 'I think it's a fun thing to do, I'm trying to make all of my friends do the same thing. You reach a certain age and it's like, people have all got married already, so it's a bit... dead in the wedding area! I want our friends to do it every 10 years too, so we have some love to celebrate!
'It's sad when they go, 'I remember there was a time when I was like, 'Oh my God, another wedding to go to!' and now I really miss it.' I'm trying to get my brother to propose to his girlfriend. I don't want him to lose her,' she admits.
There may not be many weddings to go to, but one thing she's recently celebrated is daughter Alaia-May's 12th birthday. Alaia-May is the eldest of Rochelle and Marvin's brood, which includes Valentina, eight, and four-year-old son Blake.
'I can't believe [she is 12]. I cry every year because I'm like, 'I just don't know where the years are going,' but I'm also just so proud of the little woman that she's becoming,' says Rochelle of her eldest. She continues, 'It's a weird thing to think that I've got a 12-year-old. I'm also so proud of how we're raising her. Like, we managed to get one of them to 12, so we're doing alright! We're winging it, but what we're doing is working so far,' she says.
The family often share insights into their holidays on social media, with dreamy breaks in Dubai and the Maldives. But Rochelle likes to give the kids some traditional British memories, too. "At the minute, the kids have just been at my mum's caravan for a few days. So, I dread to think what treats I'm coming back to – they've just been a little bit feral for a while,' she says, with an eye roll.
'It's like the nostalgia of holidays that I remember when I was younger, which is nice for them to have. I think my mum loves to do it all again, too, there's definitely something about doing it with your grandchildren and not your children, because you're not in a rush. You have all of the benefits and you can give them back!'
Not only will Rochelle have three kids on a high from caravan life, but she says, she'll have piles of washing, too. Luckily, the star has partnered with Dylon Detergent, which she hails as a staple in her house. 'I'm honestly such a big fan. I have my favourite scent and the smell is gorgeous. It really has made a difference to my gym wear and to the kids' school uniforms, too. You know how they just go faded?
'We've just got back from the Maldives for Easter, which was brilliant. I tested Dylon to revive a dress that I'd bought a few years before and had lost its way a little bit. It was great.'
And what are their plans with the kids for summer? 'You get the first week of the school holidays out of the way and there's nothing left to do,' she says. 'They love coming to work with me anyway. My daughters have realised there's a gifting cupboard in my office which has body sprays and creams and everything, so they have a one-track mind!'
Rochelle is the official brand ambassador for Dylon Detergent, the laundry detergent that cleans and restores clothes to look and feellike new. Available at major retailers.

As it is made from a no-iron material, it's easy to throw on. It also comes in a lime colourway. Back to Next's top, Rochelle pairs it with wide-leg lightweight jeans and gold accessories. One shopper who bought the ecru hue rated it five stars and said: "I love my new blouse. It is feminine and very comfortable to wear. The size is good." An additonal buyer who chose the striped version said they didn't like the length, writing: "Gorgeous top, loved the colours but felt it was a bit too short in length for me so returned it. Otherwise, a lovely summer top." Another added: " My new top is gorgeous, I can't wait to wear it. Thank you again, Next." Another customer gave it two stars, commenting: "This top's material is very thin and nearly see-through, not great quality. The fit is a bit tight too." "Nice and comfy fits perfectly," a fifth concluded.

Lorraine Kelly teases new project as co-star asks 'where have you been'
Lorraine Kelly, 65, was quizzed by her ITV co-star Ross King on Monday's show after she returned to the programme following a brief absence as she addressed her whereabouts Lorraine Kelly found herself explaining her recent absence from her ITV chat show during Monday's episode. In the latest segment, Lorraine, 65, shared with her audience: "Our Ross is in Los Angeles for us, later Ross. Crikey, it's tough times over there..." Ross King, reporting live from LA, chimed in: "It certainly is, real tough times, terrible rioting. I'll tell you more about that later." He then inquired: "Apart from all that, what about you, where have you been?" Lorraine replied: "Oh I've been in the far north, I've been so far north I nearly came back on myself. I'll tell you all about it. "I sadly can't say too much about it now. In a few weeks, I might be able to give you more hints. I can even show you some photos, it was life changing and amazing. I'll phone you later and tell you all about it." This follows Lorraine's announcement earlier in the month where she told fans and viewers: "BIG FILMING ADVENTURES!!!! Heading to the very far north - it's going to be amazing - see you in a week's time! #happy #arctic #filming #adventures #exploration #joy", sharing she would be having a brief break from Lorraine. The conversation comes amid ITV's announcement last month of significant changes to the scheduling and production of its daytime programmes, which include a major revamp for Lorraine's show. From January 2026, Good Morning Britain will be extended by half an hour to run from 6am to 9.30am daily, and will be produced by ITV News at ITN at their Gray's Inn Road base in London. Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women will still be produced by ITV Studios and will be broadcast from a new location in central London. In the 2026 daytime schedule for ITV, Lorraine will air from 9.30am to 10am, on a seasonal basis for 30 weeks of the year which aligns with the lead daytime presenters who host their shows around a seasonal pattern rather than throughout the year. During the weeks when Lorraine is not on air, Good Morning Britain will run from 6am to 10am. This Morning will keep its 10am to 12.30pm slot on weekdays throughout the year, while Loose Women will occupy the 12.30 to 1.30pm slot, again on a seasonal basis for 30 weeks of the year - the schedule it held for over a decade until 2016.

Richard Madeley presents Good Morning Britain in wrist cast
The 69-year-old was asked how he got the injury by co-host Susanna Reid, who remarked 'that looks sore', at the start of Monday's edition of the ITV morning show. Richard explained to Susanna and viewers that he had in fact injured himself while in France. He said: 'It's a double fracture of the wrist. I was walking quite quickly down a steep pavement in France, actually, on Friday, and the pavement was loose, and it flipped up and it flipped me forward, and I thought, am I going to win or is gravity going to win? And gravity won. 'I hit the ground hard, so yeah, I've got a double fracture and we'll see how it goes.' Reid then asked whether it was still sore to which her co-host replied: 'I'm not discussing the pain threshold.' In Monday's show, Madeley's cast could be seen as the two went on to discuss Greta Thunberg's aid boat which had been travelling to Gaza and has been boarded by Israeli forces, as well as the NHS's recent calls for a million new blood donors to come forward, and protests in Los Angeles. As he interviewed comedian turned artist Jim Moir, best known by his stage name Vic Reeves, who showed him how he can make his bed in eight seconds, Madeley praised him with 'one hand clapping'.
