Several Opposition MPs arrived dressed in white T-shirts emblazoned with the slogan "124 Not Out", signalling their united stand.
Prominent leaders, including Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar) MP Supriya Sule and DMK MP Kanimozhi, were seen holding onions during the protest, a symbolic gesture to highlight their concerns.
Protesters held banners with slogans like "Our Vote. Our Right. Our Fight" while another banner read "SIR – Silent Invisible Rigging".
What Is '124 NOT OUT' t-shirts
INDIA bloc MPs wore white T-shirts bearing the name 'Minta Devi,' who, according to them, is listed as a 124-year-old first-time voter in Bihar's voter roll.
According to the media reports, Congress MP Manickam Tagore told reporters that the Bihar voter list includes Devi's name as a first-time voter, accusing the Election Commission of India of functioning as 'a department of the BJP.'
On Monday, Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi, and other INDIA bloc MPs were detained by the Delhi Police while marching from Parliament to the Election Commission office in protest against alleged irregularities in Bihar.
Meanwhile, BJP MP PP Chaudhary will move a motion seeking the extension of the Joint Parliamentary Committee tenure on 'One Nation One Election Bill' till the first day of the last week of the Winter Parliament Session.
According to the motion, JPC Chairman PP Chaudhary along with Congress MP Manish Tiwari will move the motion to extend time for the presentation of the report of the Joint Committee on the 'Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Ninth Amendment) Bill, 2024 and the Union Territories Laws (Amendment ) Bill, 2024" upto the first day of last week of the Winter Session, 2025".

Savarkar defamation case: Lawyer withdraws plea claiming 'threat' to Rahul Gandhi
PUNE: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's lawyer on Thursday withdrew from a Pune court the plea claiming apprehension of threat to the parliamentarian from followers of Hindutva ideologue Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. The lawyer, Milind Pawar, said the court has accepted withdrawal of the plea. Earlier on Wednesday, hours after filing the plea, the lawyer said it was filed without Gandhi's consent and would be withdrawn. Pawar is representing Rahul Gandhi in a defamation case filed by Satyaki Savarkar, grand-nephew of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, over certain statements made by the Congress leader against the late freedom fighter and Hindutva ideologue. He drafted the application without consulting Gandhi and the latter has taken a "strong exception to the filing of this Pursis and expressed his disagreement with its contents", the lawyer said in a press release late Wednesday evening. The application filed by Pawar earlier on Wednesday said complainant Satyaki Savarkar had admitted that he is also a direct descendant, through maternal lineage, of Nathuram Godse and Gopal Godse, principal accused in the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi.

Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav to begin Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar from August 17
Ahead of the Assembly elections in Bihar, Congress MP KC Venugopal on Thursday announced on Thursday that Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav will launch 'VoterAdhikarYatra' against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar from August 17. In a post on X, Venugopal wrote, 'To save our vote, our Constitution, our democracy - LOP @RahulGandhi ji, along with @yadavtejashwi ji and other Mahagadbandhan leaders will embark on the Voter Adhikar Yatra across Bihar. Those who have conspired to steal our vote and destroy our hard-fought democratic system will be punished by the people.' The Yatra will kick off with a mega launch rally in Sasaram on 17th August, going through Gaya, Munger, Bhagalpur, Katihar, Purnia, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Pashchim Champaran, and ending in Arrah on 30th August. On 1st September, we will hold a Mega Voter Adhikar Rally at Patna, where the whole of Bihar will send a clear message to drive away the Vote Chors. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi with 'reviving this forgotten history' by declaring the remembrance day in 2021. 'Today, the entire country mourns, remembering the horrors of August 14, 1947,' he said. Adityanath also praised the PM for granting citizenship and rehabilitation rights to refugees through the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), noting that, for the first time, displaced people in Jammu & Kashmir and other regions received citizenship and began contributing to India's development. 'The Congress never made any sincere effort for their rehabilitation,' he added. Paying homage to the victims, he also announced that the Uttar Pradesh government will provide land leases and full rehabilitation to eligible families under the CAA. 'We are committed to protecting their rights and ensuring their dignity,' he affirmed.
