Choice International Q1 results
The company in the first quarter ended June 30, 2025, reported a 49.88 per cent rise in profit after tax (PAT) at ₹47.96 crore as compared to ₹32 crore a year ago. On a quarter-on-quarter (Q-o-Q) basis, the PAT fell 10.39 per cent from ₹53.52 crore.
The company's revenue for the quarter under review stood at ₹237.95 crore, up 15.55 per cent, from ₹205.93 crore a year ago. On a sequential basis, the revenue slipped 6.7 per cent from ₹255.04 crore in Q4FY25.
Its revenue contribution came 60 per cent from Stock Broking, 24 per cent from advisory, and 16 per cent from a non-banking financial company (NBFC). The company's number of Demat accounts stood at 11.5 lakhs, a growth of 29 per cent year-on-year (Y-o-Y), and client assets under stock Broking stood at ₹4,78,000 crore, a staggering growth of 16 per cent Y-o-Y. Its Asset under management (AUM) for wealth products stood at ₹4,769 crore, a surge of 443 per cent Y-o-Y.
Its insurance premium generated of ₹76 crore, an increase of 62 per cent Y-o-Y and the number of policies sold stood at 39,182, a surge of 46 per cent Y-o-Y. The total loan book for the NBFC segment at the end of Q1 FY26 stood at ₹745 crore, and the Retail Loan Book for Q1 FY26 stood at ₹596 crore. Net Non-Performing assets (NNPA) as on June 30, 2025, were at 2.25 per cent.

NSDL makes a strong debut on bourses, shares jump 17% on Wednesday
Shares of National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) rose 17 per cent during their trading debut on the BSE on Wednesday. The stock listed at ₹880, a 10 per cent premium to its issue price of ₹800, and ended the session at ₹936. Its ₹4,011 crore IPO was subscribed 41 times. The institutional investor portion was subscribed 104 times, the wealthy investor portion 35 times, the retail investor portion nearly 8 times. The IPO was entirely an offer for sale issue. The selling shareholders included IDBI Bank, National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), and four other institutions. The IPO was necessitated as the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) norms prohibit any single entity from owning more than 15 per cent stake in any market infrastructure institution. NSDL pioneered the dematerialisation of securities in India. As of March 31, 2025, NSDL is the largest depository in India in terms of the number of issuers, the number of active instruments, the market share in demat value of settlement volume and the value of assets held under custody. However, the firm has lagged behind its rival CDSL in terms of the number of demat accounts opened with it. In volume terms, 9.18 crore equity shares were traded on the NSE while 1.69 crore shares changed hands on the BSE, during the day. The ₹792 crore initial public offering (IPO) was subscribed 69.14 times on the final day of bidding on Friday. Sri Lotus Developers on Tuesday raised ₹237 crore from institutional investors. Highway Infra IPO gets subscribed 73 times on Day 2 of offer
Agency: PTI Last Updated: New Delhi, Aug 6 (PTI) The IPO of Highway Infrastructure Ltd fetched 73 times subscription on the day two of bidding on Wednesday. The initial public offer (IPO) received bids for 1,16,98,86,124 shares against 1,60,43,046 shares on offer, translating into 72.92 times subscription, as per the NSE data. The non-institutional investors category was booked 97.70 times while the retail individual investors' quota was subscribed 73.55 times. The qualified institutional buyers' portion received 7.10 times subscription. Highway Infrastructure Ltd on Monday raised Rs 23.40 crore from anchor investors, including HDFC Bank and Abans Finance Pvt Ltd. The Rs 130-crore IPO will conclude on Thursday. The price band has been fixed at Rs 65-70 per share. The IPO is a mix of fresh issue of 1.39 crore shares aggregating to Rs 97.52 crore and an offer for sale of 46.4 lakh shares amounting to Rs 32.48 crore. Incorporated in 1995, Highway Infrastructure Ltd (HIL) is engaged in tollway collection, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, and real estate development. The Indore-based company specialises in the construction and maintenance of roads, highways, bridges, and residential projects. The company's total income stood at Rs 504.48 crore, and its profit after tax was Rs 22.40 crore. The company's shares will be listed on the BSE and NSE. Pantomath Capital Advisors is the sole book-running lead manager, while Bigshare Services is the registrar for the IPO. Abu Dhabi-based IHC sells 1.83% stake in Adani Energy Solutions for Rs 1,737 crore
Abu Dhabi-based IHC on Wednesday divested a 1.83 per cent stake in Adani Energy Solutions for Rs 1,737 crore through open market transactions. ADVERTISEMENT Investment management firm IHC through its affiliate Envestcom Holding RSC Ltd offloaded nearly 2.2 crore equity shares, representing a 1.83 per cent stake in Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL), as per the bulk deal data available on the BSE and NSE. The shares were sold at an average price of Rs 790 apiece, taking the combined deal value to Rs 1,736.73 crore. After the stake sale, Envestcom Holding's shareholding in AESL has come down to 0.85 per cent from 2.68 per cent. Details of the buyers of Adani Energy Solutions' shares could not be ascertained on the exchanges. In March this year, IHC sold 84.49 lakh shares in Adani Enterprises for around Rs 1,800 crore. ADVERTISEMENT The sale was executed through its two entities -- Green Vitality RSC and Green Energy Investment Holding RSC. However, the stake was acquired by another arm of IHC Envestcom Holding RSC. IHC through its affiliates holds stakes in Adani companies such as Adani Total Gas, AESL and the flagship firm Adani Enterprises. ADVERTISEMENT In 2022, IHC invested around USD 2 billion in Adani Green Energy, Adani Transmission, and Adani Enterprises. According to reports, in September 2023, IHC announced that its subsidiaries had agreed to sell their investments in Adani Green Energy and Adani Energy Solutions. However, in October 2023, the Abu Dhabi-based IHC hiked its stake in Adani Enterprises to over 5 per cent, just after exiting the two other group companies. Established in 1999, IHC is the most valuable holding company in the Middle East, with a market capitalisation of AED 879.6 billion (USD 239.3 billion).
