Bonmati back with Spain at Euro 2025, although her status remains unclear
Spain's football federation shared photos on social media of the Barcelona midfielder arriving at the team hotel late on Monday.
It remains unclear, however, when she will be fit to play.
Bonmati, the Ballon d'Or winner for the past two years, missed Spain's 3-1 victory over Japan in a friendly on Friday as the team prepared for their Group B match against Portugal on July 3.
She had posted a photo from her hospital bed on social media on Sunday, giving a thumbs-up and stating: "Fortunately, everything is going well. I hope to return soon."
Bonmati has scored 30 goals in 78 appearances for Spain, and was a key player in their victory at their 2023 Women's World Cup.

MEXICO CITY - Spanish champions Barcelona women will take on the top players of Liga MX Femenil in the inaugural 'Duelo de Estrellas' (All-Star Game) in Monterrey next month, the Mexican league announced on Monday. The showcase match is set for August 22 at Estadio Universitario in the capital of the Mexican northern state of Nuevo Leon, and will feature players from all 18 Liga MX Femenil teams facing off against the three-time Women's Champions League winners. "The Duel of the Stars is a key step in the growth of the Liga MX Femenil," the league said in a statement. "Focusing on the talent of our players, it recognises their impact on and off the pitch. For the fans, it is an experience that strengthens their connection with their league and its stars." Rowland targets multiple titles after Formula E breakthrough
LONDON :After 11 seasons that have produced 10 different champions, Formula E's new title-holder Oliver Rowland believes the all-electric series has become less of a lottery and he can break with the past. The Nissan driver, who clinched this year's crown in Berlin on July 13 with two races to spare, told reporters ahead of his home British season finale at London's ExCel this weekend that the championship was fairer now. "In the early years we had this qualifying system which was just mental, where the top six in the championship went out on a track that was one second slower than (for) the next group and then half a second slower than the next group," he said. "You could never pull away in the championship. You would basically get in the lead and then just start last in the next race." In 2021, the last year before the Season Eight change, 18 drivers remained in title contention heading into the final two rounds. Seven of the 11 championships, including the first three, have been decided in the final race. Only Frenchman Jean-Eric Vergne has so far managed to defend a Formula E crown, winning back-to-back titles in 2017-18 and 2018-19. The current qualifying splits drivers into two groups of 11 based on championship position, with odd numbers in one group and evens in the other, before the top four from each advance to knockout duels. "It's kind of much fairer and I think you have the opportunity to see people winning more back-to-back titles," said Rowland, 32. "I think it's a little bit fairer now in terms of not being as much of a lottery. I expect that you will see the same guys towards the front and more repeat winners moving forward," said Rowland. While this year's drivers' crown is won, Nissan are fighting Porsche for the team and manufacturers' titles. Rowland said his ambition for the future, without the pressure of chasing a first title, was to try to cement himself as one of the top drivers in the series. "It's a good motivation to have, to try and win three or four (titles)," he said.

Italy striker Retegui joins Al-Qadsiah from Atalanta
Italian striker Mateo Retegui has joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah from Atalanta, both clubs said on Monday, with Italian media reports saying last season's Serie A top scorer has signed a four-year contract. No financial details were released, but Italian media said that the fee paid is in the region of 65 million euros ($76.01 million) which would make Retegui the most expensive Italian player. Retegui spent just one season at Atalanta, signing from Genoa as a replacement for the injured Gianluca Scamacca, and went on to score 25 league goals to help the club to a third-place finish. "The Percassi family, the Pagliuca family and the entire Nerazzurri club sincerely thank Mateo for the extraordinary contribution he made last season and wish him the best for the continuation of his sporting career and for his future," the club said in a statement. The Argentine-born Retegui qualified to play for Italy through his grandparents, and was called up by Roberto Mancini in 2023, scoring on his debut in a 2-1 defeat by England. The 26-year-old has six international goals in 20 appearances. Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left the Saudi club on Thursday, having scored 21 goals in 36 matches in all competitions in his one season at Al-Qadsiah.
