Investigation underway into northeast break-and-enter where shots were fired

Shots were fired early Saturday in northeast Calgary during a break-and-enter. No one was injured. An investigation is underway into a break-and-enter in northeast Calgary where shots were fired. Early Saturday, police say a break-and-enter took place in the 100 block of Castlebrook Way N.E. Residents at the address told police that three people broke into their home and during the break-in, several shots from a firearm were fired before the suspects fled. Police say no one was injured. Investigators don't believe it was a random attack. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 403-266-1234.
