Shefali Jariwala Revealed Adoption Plans On Bigg Boss 13, Husband Parag Said: 'Whether You Give Birth Or…'

Last Updated: Shefali Jariwala, during her stint on Bigg Boss 13, had shared her heartfelt dream of adopting a baby girl. Shefali Jariwala, who rose to fame with the iconic music video Kaanta Laga in the early 2000s, passed away at the age of 42. As per initial reports, the actor suffered a sudden cardiac arrest late Thursday night, between June 27 and 28. She was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai by Parag Tyagi and three close aides. Tragically, doctors declared her brought dead upon arrival. Shefali Jariwala's death has sent shockwaves across the nation. Her last rites were performed at the Oshiwara crematorium. Shefali Jariwala, best known for her stint in Bigg Boss 13, has long harboured a dream close to her heart — adopting a baby girl. In a candid conversation with Times of India TV, the actor shared what sparked this desire and how her husband Parag Tyagi has stood firmly by her side throughout the journey. She had said, 'I had spoken about adopting a child with Hindustani Bhau during our time in the Bigg Boss 13 house. What really inspired me was Sunny Leone's decision to adopt a baby girl, it touched me deeply. I've always wanted to adopt a daughter, and after marrying Parag, when we started talking about having a family, I told him about my wish. He's incredibly supportive and said, 'You have to become a mother — whether you give birth or adopt, the choice is yours, and I'll stand by it.'" Her motivation came from a place of gratitude and a desire to give back. 'There are so many children out there who need a loving home, and I believe I'm in a position to offer a child a secure, happy life. I want to give that child a safe environment, a good education, and a beautiful life — because God has already blessed me with so much. I feel it's only right to share those blessings." However, Shefali didn't shy away from addressing the challenges that come with adoption in India. 'That said, adoption in our country isn't easy. The process is long, with a lot of paperwork and waiting involved. We're in the middle of it right now, and I truly hope, with God's grace and everyone's good wishes, that my dream will come true. I'll become a mother and bring home a beautiful little girl," the iconic Kaanta Laga girl had said. First Published:

Rohan Gurbaxani: Working with Anurag Basu sir on Metro… In Dino felt like stepping onto a blank canvas every single day

Rohan Gurbaxani Rohan Gurbaxani, who appeared in Bandish Bandits, Made In Heaven and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, will now be seen in Anurag Basu 's Metro… In Dino as Aryan, an IT professional turned painter. The actor explains that portraying a painter 'was unique because painting brings a certain gentleness. I practiced freehand drawing and painting, and as a child I took painting classes. That taught me about letting go and allowing your mind to run free.' Recalling his time on Basu's set, he shares, 'That concept was exactly how I felt on sir's set — every day felt like going to a clean canvas. He doesn't work with a script: you might think you know the outline, but on dada's set you have no script, so it's a fresh canvas each day. I used different, intuitive strokes with Aryan and every day felt like a new painting.' When asked about working with Konkona Sen Sharma and Pankaj Tripathi for the film, Rohan says, 'Working with Konkona and Pankaj ji was something every young actor dreams of. I grew up watching them—they bring truth and realism to every performance, and simply being around them teaches you a lot. From day one on set, they were friendly, welcoming, and warm.' He adds, 'They share a calm, composed energy and come alive when the camera rolls. Being opposite actors like them, who deliver such honesty with each line, pushes you to match their truthfulness. I'm open to receiving and reacting, not thinking about my own performance, because acting is all about responding — and from them I learnt so much.'

She mentioned that she is a 'proud Brahmin" and argued that just because she wears bold outfits, it does not mean that she is not cultured. 'I was born and brought up in a Bengali Brahmin family and I am very much aware of my cultural roots. I would like to recite the Hanuman Chalisa in front of everyone," Khushi said in the video. 'By doing this, I didn't want to prove anything to anyone. I know people will still say a lot of bad things about me and troll me. I just wanted to let everyone know that just because I wear bold clothes, it doesn't mean I've forgotten Indian culture," she added. I am a proud Bengali Brahmin. N i know even after reciting this hanuman chalisa I am gonna get targeted and trolled by certain group of so called influencers/actors who so ever. But this is for all my supporters!" This comes a day after Shiv Thakare lashed out at Khushi for sporting revealing outfits while posing for the paparazzi. A video of the Bigg Boss star surfaced on social media in which he reacted to Khushi's viral clips and slammed her for seeking publicity by opting for revealing sartorial choices. Shiv mentioned that Khushi's family should scold her and even slap her, if needed. Prior to this, actress Falaq Naaz also weighed in on the matter, without naming Khushi directly. In a strongly worded Instagram video, Falaq referred to Khushi only as 'didi" and expressed her frustration with the government's double standards when it comes to public decency and civic penalties. Falaq also made an emotional appeal to the public to raise this question with the authorities. 'So, jitne log yaha pe baithe hue hai, help me out, tag authorities, and I want the answer now ke yeh sahi hai. Aur agar yeh sahi hai toh stray dogs ko khaana khilane pe koi aawaz naa uthaaye. Agar nang pane mein aawaz nahi uthrahi, toh bachcho ko khaane khilane mein aawaz naa uthana," she said. First Published:
