Wizards beat Raptors 118-117 when Shead's basket at buzzer ruled late
The teams will meet again Monday night in Toronto.
Bilal Coulibaly added 18 points and 10 rebounds to help Washington improve to 13-49 with its second straight victory. The Wizards beat Utah at home Wednesday night before heading off to Toronto for the start of a seven-game trip that also has a two-game set in Detroit and games at Denver, Portland and Utah.
RJ Barrett led Toronto with 23 points, and Jakob Poeltl added 21. The Raptors beat Utah at home the night before for their third straight victory.

De Minaur said he had never doubted his ability to turn around the final. "I just kind of knew I could do it," De Minaur said in his on-court interview. "I just backed myself to commit no matter what, and if I lost this match, it was going to be on my terms. "I've had a couple of brutal ones not go go my way, so I'm glad this one went my way," the 26-year-old from New South Wales said. The win was another agonizing setback for Davidovich Fokina, who had already reached -- and lost -- two other finals this season. The defeat echoed his loss in the final at Delray Beach in February, when he was unable to convert two match points before losing to Miomir Kecmanovic. Ex-Knick Marcus Morris Sr. arrested on fraud charges
Marcus Morris Sr. was arrested on Sunday related to fraud charges while in Broward County, Florida, online booking records showed. The NBA player and ex-Knick was picked up on a felony charge of Fraud – Writing a Check with Insufficient Funds, with the report indicating he was arrested at an airport. The online record also indicated that the charge is related to a case in another state and he is being held without bond. Twins lose third consecutive series after 7-2 loss to Nationals
CJ Abrams hit a leadoff homer, stole three bases and scored three runs as the Washington Nationals beat the Minnesota Twins 7-2 on Sunday. Nationals starter Jake Irvin (8-5), a Twin Cities native pitching at Target Field for the first time, gave up two runs on five hits over seven innings. Josh Bell went 3 for 4 with an RBI. Matt Wallner homered and Harrison Bader had two hits for Minnesota, which has lost six of nine since the All-Star break. Daylen Lile tripled and scored on Paul DeJong's sacrifice fly in the fourth to put the Nationals on top 3-2. Washington broke it open with four runs in the fifth off Travis Adams (1-1), keyed by Alex Call's two-run single.
