
Peru's Growth Misses Expectations as Fishing, Farming Contracts
Peru's economic growth was weaker than expected in April, dragged down by slow growth in fishing and agriculture.
Economic activity expanded 1.4% in April compared with a year ago, according to national statistics institute INEI. The median forecast of economists surveyed by Bloomberg was for 2.1% growth.
