After Vincy Aloshious, another actor accuses Shine Tom Chacko of indecent behaviour
Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko has been accused of misconduct and indecent behaviour by 'Soothravakyam' actor, Aparna John. She claimed that he made explicit remarks with 'sexual connotations'. Earlier, Vincy Aloshious filed a complaint against Chacko for alleged drug use and misconduct on the sets of 'Soothravakyam'. Chacko has been given one final warning by the Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce.advertisementIn fresh trouble, actor Aparna John, backed Aloshious' claims and said that what she said was "100 per cent correct." Aloshious, in her complaint, stated that she saw some white substance spilling out of his mouth.Speaking to a regional channel, Aparna John, who is currently in Australia, said, "White powder is all I can say as I cannot state with any authority as to what it was. It could have been glucose."
However, she added that Shine Tom Chacko exhibited "a very abnormal and erratic" behaviour on the film sets."He displayed a high energy which we cannot match. He moved around constantly, was restless, said things which had no logical connections and if any woman was around, then his remarks were indecent. Like Aloshious said, his remarks had strong sexual connotations and were explicit. It was like verbal diarrhoea," she added.advertisementAparna John stated that she felt uncomfortable around him. However, she told a member of the Internal Complaints Commiittee (ICC) on the set about how she felt on the sets with him."I immediately got a resolution. The entire crew made the effort to complete my scenes ahead of schedule, so that I could leave," she added.Aparna said she would have done something else if acting was a career like how it is for Aloshious. "But, I have limitations as I am here (Australia)," she explained.Vincy Aloshious accused Chacko of misbehaving with her. She complained about him, stating that he insisted on fixing her dress on the film sets, which made the situation awkward and uncomfortable. Eventually, she lodged a complaint with the Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce.An internal meeting was held where Chacko's family was informed that he needed professional assistance for drug consumption. He also assured that this behaviour will not be repeated. Reportedly, he also apologised to Aloshious for his behaviour.After Vincy's allegations, Chacko was arrested and then released on bail. While Vincy did not lodge a formal complaint with the police, the government said that it views the drug allegations seriously and act on it.Trending Reel

Injured actor Shine Tom Chacko to undergo surgery after father's funeral on Monday
Thrissur: Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko, who was injured when his car crashed with a lorry at Dharmapuri in Tamil Nadu, will need to undergo surgery on his left hand, according to doctors attending on him. Speaking to the media here on Saturday, doctors attached to a private hospital in Thrissur said the surgery will take place anytime after the funeral of Chacko's father on Monday. "The actor and his mother were brought from Dharmapuri late on Friday night. Chacko has left humerus multiple fractures, an issue in the backbone's vertebrae, besides having multiple concussions on his body," said Sujoy, the treating orthopaedic surgeon. "All his vitals are stable, and when we informed him about the need for surgery, he said that since his father also passed away in the car crash, the funeral is fixed for Monday," added Sujoy. "His mother also has injuries. She is also stable. She has suffered hip injuries and a minor head injury. She will need rest," added the surgeon. "Chacko asked us when he can resume shooting, and we told him that he needs rest and rehabilitation for six weeks after surgery. He can resume light shooting activities after six weeks, but for doing fight scenes, he will have to wait for three months," said Sujoy. The accident took place on Friday at 6 a.m., and Chacko's father passed away while he was being taken to the hospital. The car occupants included the actor, his father, mother, brother and driver. The family which left from here in the wee hours on Friday was on its way to Bengaluru for the treatment of the actor, who is presently undergoing de-addiction rehabilitation. The actor was in the news since April after he was arrested after nearly three hours of questioning under Sections 27 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
