A driver is trapped after a tanker rollover closed the Toronto-bound lanes Queen Elizabeth Way in Grimsby early Saturday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police Const. Taylor Konkle said the tanker tractor trailer, which was loaded with malt and water, went into the right-hand ditch and rolled onto its side on the Toronto-bound QEW approaching Christie Street in Grimsby around 1:36 a.m. Saturday.

Emergency services were called to a residential neighbourhood near Bloor Street West and Russett Avenue, west of Dufferin Street, around 4 p.m. Toronto paramedics say the victim sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police are searching for a suspect described as a Black male, six-feet tall, between 40 and 50 years old and was wearing black jacket, pants, a black baseball hat and glasses. He was last seen northbound on Dufferin Street. The circumstances that led to the stabbing are not immediately known.

Man sustains leg injury during industrial accident in downtown Toronto

The incident happened near the intersection of Dalhousie Street and Dundas Street East. Dalhousie was closed as police investigated, but has since reopened. Toronto police said they were called to that area at 12:12 p.m. after a male was struck by material being moved by a crane. They said that he suffered a leg injury and was taken to the hospital by paramedics. Toronto paramedics said they transported an adult male to a local trauma centre with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries. The Ontario Ministry of Labour has been notified, police said. This investigation is ongoing.
