The Australian is out of football currently after he was recently sacked by Tottenham just a fortnight after he guided them to the Europa League trophy.
He has been linked with various posts already since his departure from the North London club.
Postecoglou, of course, left Celtic two years ago to become Spurs' head coach.
Before managing in Scotland, he had experience of managing in his Aussie homeland, Japan and Greece.
Now, according to the Daily Record, there is more serious interest from a club across the globe.
Los Angeles FC want him to become their next boss, it is claimed.
They state that former Celtic scout, Neil McGuinness, is keen to convince the 59-year-old to head to L.A.
With the likes of former Arsenal, Chelsea and France international Olivier Giroud among their squad, LAFC are pushing for a play-off position in the Western Conference.

Bryan Mbeumo sends message to Thomas Frank as second Man Utd bid is rejected
Manchester United have seen a second bid for Bryan Mbeumo rejected but the Brentford star remains determined to move to Old Trafford this summer. Having already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves, United have made Mbeumo a top target for Ruben Amorim's new-look attack next season. An opening offer of £45million plus £10m in add-ons was rejected by the Bees with The Athletic reporting a second proposal of £55m plus £7.5m in bonuses has also been turned away. Talks are continuing however with belief a compromise can be found. Mbeumo, who scored 20 Premier League goals last season, has also attracted interest from Arsenal, Newcastle United and Tottenham with it quickly emerging the Cameroon international favours a move to Old Trafford. However, Mbeumo has now informed Frank and Brentford that if he is to leave the Gtech Stadium this summer, it will only be to join United. The report adds Spurs have denied making any offer for the player at this stage. United struggled badly in front of goal last season with only Everton and the three relegated sides scoring less than them. Cunha and Mbeumo hit 35 between them in the league campaign – just nine short of United's total tally of 44. Adding goals has been a priority but changes could also be made in goal following another poor season for Andre Onana. Marco Carnesecchi of Atalanta and Diogo Costa of Porto have been strongly linked with moves to Old Trafford along with Aston Villa star Emiliano Martinez. More Trending Martinez is expected to leave Villa Park this summer with former United defender Gary Pallister believing signing him should be a 'no brainer' for his old side. 'Andre Onana has been under a lot of pressure,' he told Metro on behalf of Gamble Online. 'Emi Martinez is the real deal in terms of his goalkeeping ability and his personality, he's a very strong character. 'He's brave and is everything you'd want to see in a Premier League goalkeeper. If you were able to get your hands on him, then I think that's possibly a no-brainer.'
