Gov't media: Malnutrition kills 66 children so far
The government media office in Gaza announced on Saturday that the number of children killed as a result of malnutrition has risen to 66, due to the closure of crossings, the tightening of the blockade, and the prevention of the entry of milk, nutritional supplements, and food.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the office expressed deep concern and condemnation over the rising number of children killed as a result of severe malnutrition, reaching 66 children.
This is due to the continued closure of crossings by the Zionist enemy and the prevention of the entry of baby milk and nutritional supplements intended for vulnerable and vulnerable groups, especially infants and the sick.
The office stated that this behavior constitutes a war crime and a crime against humanity, revealing the deliberate use of starvation by the "Israeli" enemy as a weapon to exterminate civilians, especially children, in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions.
The office strongly condemned this ongoing crime against childhood in the Gaza Strip, denouncing the shameful international silence regarding the suffering of children who are left to suffer from hunger, disease, and slow death.
The office held the "Israeli" enemy fully responsible for this catastrophe, and held the countries supporting and complicit in the crime of genocide, primarily the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, responsible for their active participation in these grave violations.
He called on the international community, the United Nations, and Arab and Islamic countries to urgently intervene and pressure the enemy to open the crossings immediately, allow food and medical supplies to enter, and save the remaining children and patients before it is too late.

Death Toll of 'Breadline Massacres' in Gaza Rises to 1,938, with Over 14,400 Injured
Gaza – Saba: The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Sunday, that in the past 24 hours alone, 14 Palestinians were killed and 132 wounded while waiting for humanitarian aid. According to the ministry's statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), this brings the total number of Palestinians killed while attempting to access aid—the so-called 'breadline martyrs'—to 1,938, with more than 14,420 others injured. On famine-related deaths, the ministry reported seven additional fatalities in the past 24 hours, including two children, raising the total to 258 deaths, of whom 110 were children. The ministry stressed that Israeli forces continue to target Palestinians waiting for aid on a daily basis, ever since the launch of the U.S.-Israeli mechanism on May 27, managed under the so-called 'Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.' Meanwhile, Palestinians in Gaza are enduring an unprecedented wave of hunger following Israel's closure of all crossings in early March and the imposition of severe restrictions on the entry of food, relief supplies, fuel, and medicine.

Gaza - Saba: The Palestinian Information Center 'Mu'ta' reported Saturday that Gaza's health system is under severe strain due to the Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023. According to statistics covering Oct. 7, 2023 – Aug. 14, 2025, 1,590 health workers, including 157 doctors, have been killed. Only 15 of 38 hospitals, 40 of 110 operating rooms, and 67 of 157 primary care centers remain functional, with hospitals operating at 200% occupancy. The report highlights a near-collapse of Gaza's health system under blockade conditions, with limited medical supplies, fuel, and inability to transfer critical patients outside the Strip. More than 70% of facilities are out of service due to direct attacks or depleted resources, leaving tens of thousands of injured, mostly women, children, and patients with chronic or cancer-related conditions, without urgent care.
