Joe Lycett flummoxed by Celebrity Catchphrase riddle he 'never would have got' - but can YOU solve it within the time limit?
The Birmingham-born star was on the celebrity iteration of the hugely popular ITV game show - joined by TV persona Nick Knowles and actress Chizzy Akudolu.
The competition sees three players attempt to 'say what they see' to guess the correct phrase or idiom from a short video.
And although 37-year-old Joe beat his fellow celebs to make it all the way to the 'super catchphrase,' one riddle left him perplexed.
The big screen lit up to show the clue, while Stephen threw out some wild guesses, including 'angry countries' and, in a moment of desperation, 'friggy diggy'.
Although the game's premise is simple, finding the correct answer can often be challenging. So can YOU figure it out within the time limit?
The answer was 'cross country running'.
Three cartoon characters with different national flags - of Italy, America and France - ran angrily across the screen to make the clue.
But when host Stephen Mulhern revealed the solution, Joe immediately admitted: 'I never would have got that.'
Nonetheless, Joe walked away with an impressive £32,000 for his chosen charity, the Tamworth Wellbeing & Cancer Support Centre.
It comes as Channel 4 execs have shelved Joe's comedy series Late Night Lycett - as Joe is taking a break to focus on his family.
The comedian shocked fans when he announced that he had become a father for the first time in October last year with a sweet snap of him holding his newborn son.
Joe is keen to spend as much time as he can with his baby boy and has put filming for his show on hold.
According to The Sun, an insider said: 'Late Night Lycett is a hugely popular format and one that Channel 4 wants to keep on air.
'Joe's witty one-liners as well as the show's comedy and feel-good vibe means it's not shy of attracting big names out on a Friday evening like Alesha Dixon and Elizabeth Hurley.
'Channel 4 are keen for another series but at the moment Joe has taken extended time off to be with his newborn son and family.
'It means meetings around the future of Late Night Lycett have not been able to take place.
'Bosses are respecting his decision and when he does return to work, talks will take place about whether to commission a new series.'
The first series of Late Night Lycett hit our screens in 2023, followed by a second last year.
There have been seven episodes over two successful series.
The programme is filmed on Joe's home turf of Birmingham.
The show's synopsis reads: 'Joe Lycett presents his late-night comedy entertainment series, live from his hometown of Birmingham, with madcap games, hilarious sketches, Joe's aunties, and celebrity guests.'
It has become a huge fan favourite over the past two years and received a BAFTA for best Entertainment Performance.
Back in November Joe revealed that he spent the first few weeks of fatherhood 'doing a lot of crying'.
Speaking on the Parenting Hell podcast, he said: 'I've done a lot of, I mean less so now, but the first sort of two weeks I did a lot of crying because I did a lot of nostalgia for the future and imagined what he would be like when he was 20 and then worried about him when he's an old man and I can't be there for him.'
Celebrity Catchphrase airs on Sunday at 9pm on ITV and is available to stream on ITVX.

Katie Price slapped with new legal row as exes Kieran Hayler and Alex Reid team up
EXCLUSIVE: Former glamour model Katie Price has found herself at the centre of another legal row as her ex-husbands unite to block a new tell-all documentary from airing Katie Price is at the centre of a new legal row with her ex-husbands over a planned tell-all documentary. The show, due to air next year, is set to spill the beans on her relationships, according to TV insiders. Kieran Hayler, 38, and Alex Reid, 50, are consulting lawyers to try to block the film from featuring them. The pair are in contact via an intermediary as both are said to be aghast at the prospect of Katie talking. A source said: 'They feel like they have been backed into a corner and have no choice. They just want her to stop trashing them, and can't believe she is being given a platform.' It comes after Katie was left unable to complete basic functions after latest facial surgeries. Lawyers for Katie's first husband, Peter Andre, were already on 'red alert' even before news of the planned documentary surfaced last week. It comes as Peter, 52, released a statement blasting his ex-wife's 'lies'. Asked about the show, an insider close to the Australian singer said: 'His lawyers will be keeping a close eye on all things moving forward in terms of what Kate says or does.' The three-part series is reportedly being made by Louis Theroux's production company Mindhouse and put out by Sky. A strongly worded legal letter is being prepared on behalf of Kieran and Alex, urging the broadcaster to reconsider airing it. A spokesman for Kieran said: 'We are keeping all our options open. I can confirm Alex Reid is on the same page.' A TV insider claimed this week that the autobiographical show would 'likely spill the beans on [Katie's] many flings and love affairs' and would be the 'most authentic version of her story'. But a source close to Kieran said: 'Enough is enough. They want to move on with their lives, and they can't trust anything that comes out her mouth.' Katie and Kieran were married from 2013 to 2021. They had two kids, Jett, now 12, and Bunny, 11. Former cage fighter Alex wed the ex-glamour model in Las Vegas in February 2010. They separated in January 2011. Alex sued his ex for breach of confidence, misuse of private information and breach of contract after she disclosed to pals videos and photos of him performing a sex act. High Court judge Mr Justice Warby branded Katie's behaviour 'persistent, flagrant, arrogant, high-handed and inexcusable'. She was told to pay £25,000 in damages and £150,000 in costs. Reality TV star Alex said it had an impact on his career, adding: 'She was saying the most disgusting things about me... It was affecting me working continually because people were laughing at me.' Katie was married to Peter from 2005 to 2009, and they have Junior, 20, and Princess, 18. She has been in the spotlight recently around the launch of her eldest daughter's ITV show, The Princess Diaries. Her claim last week that Princess lives with her seemed to enrage Peter. Accusing his ex of repeated lies, he said: 'Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until... adulthood. In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement.' He also reminded fans of court cases in 2011 and 2015, saying they showed Katie had made false claims. Yesterday a source said: 'Pete felt he had to do this for the sake of not only him, but his wife [Emily], Princess and Junior. He has received so many messages of support from people who are glad he has called such behaviour out.' In response, mum-of-five Katie – who also has son Harvey, 23, with football coach Dwight Yorke – said: 'I know I will always be seen as a sinner. That's fair. I allowed myself to fall into a reliance on drugs and alcohol. At times I was not the mother I should have been while I struggled with mental illness. 'I have been at times a poor friend, an awful sibling, and an untrustworthy partner. I've self-medicated, been unfaithful, damaged myself and those that I love.' Princess, meanwhile, says Katie and Peter's feud does not trouble her, as she loves them both. When a fan asked if she was affected by her parents not getting on, she replied: 'To be honest it doesn't. At the end of the day, they broke up when I was two years old so I don't even have any memory of them being together.' She added: 'I love my mum and dad and that's all that matters.' Katie has claimed she was banned from Princess's 18th birthday party filmed for her show and that her daughter's management team thought she was trash. A source said Katie was not banned but had missed the party due to being abroad. Sky did not respond to a request for comment.

Andy Carroll reveals he is back with girlfriend Lou Teasdale after split as he vows to cut booze to save relationship
EX-England footie ace Andy Carroll has revealed he is back with girlfriend Lou Teasdale after a stormy split — and vowed to cut down on booze to save their relationship. Opening up about his feelings for stylist Lou in an exclusive interview with the Sun on Sunday, Andy said: 'I love Lou and I love her family. We row like any couple.' 4 The pair have been dating since his split last summer from ex-wife and former Towie star Billi Mucklow, 37. They are currently divorcing. The 36-year-old former Premier League star said: 'Things have been difficult for me and I'm going through a divorce. 'Some of our rows have been about alcohol, as Lou has been teetotal for 14 years and I have a beer or wine at dinner and a drink after the game, but it's not a problem in my life. 'I'm a professional footballer and that's not the case. I play sport every single day so my level of fitness is really good. I play football every day so I'm fit.' The Sun revealed on Wednesday the couple had split, with Andy unfollowing celebrity make-up artist Lou, 41, on social media. But now he has told The Sun on Sunday that after a misunderstanding in Spain, he and Lou have patched things up. Former Liverpool and Newcastle striker Andy, who now plays for non-league Dagenham & Redbridge FC, said: 'We're better off together and we're trying to work through our difficulties.' In June, we reported Carroll was twice quizzed by police over bust-ups with Lou during a break on Greek party island Mykonos. He was questioned about rows with her at a packed beachside restaurant and then at their hotel. He was taken to the police station after the second incident. Ex-England star Andy Carroll DUMPS Lou Teasdale after police quiz over boozy rows as he tells pals he's 'sick' of her Speaking about the restaurant incident now, Andy — pictured with Lou, above, as he signed for his new club last month — insisted: 'There was no alcohol involved. We argued about me having three coffees in the morning. She was worried I was addicted to coffee and it went from there.' A joint statement from them at the time said: 'Whilst having a private dinner in a restaurant on a quiet holiday in Mykonos, we had a heated discussion of the sort that most couples have had on occasion. 'It quickly became apparent to the police that there was no reason for them to be there.' It added: 'As far as we are concerned, the situation has been blown out of all proportion by an interested member of the public. 'No one was arrested and no one was charged with anything. 'We are very happy, in love and looking forward to our future together and we are disappointed that a private disagreement has become a public matter.' Andy returned to England last month, having left French fourth-tier side Bordeaux to play for Dagenham & Redbridge and to be close to his children, who live in Essex. He said: 'I just want to focus on my kids. They're more important than anything. I'm loving life back in England. 'Obviously when I was working in France, I was there alone, and I was out with the lads a lot. Now I'm back home with the kids and it's just a different way of life.' Last September, the Sun on Sunday reported Andy and Billi, who have three children, were divorcing after two years of marriage. The couple started dating in 2013, soon after he joined West Ham. And he popped the question during a romantic holiday in Rome in 2014. That year Billi said: 'He is one of the most genuine and caring people I have ever met.' Gateshead-born Carroll, who has two children from a previous relationship, has often been in the news over his romps, brawls and court cases. 4 4 He said meeting Billi turned his life around. Carroll's boyhood dreams came true when he began his professional football career with Newcastle United in 2006. The big centre-forward was soon a hit with Toon fans, following in the footsteps of another local idol Alan Shearer. In 2009-10, Carroll scored 17 goals in 39 games, and 11 in nine games the following season. In 2011, he earned a £35million transfer to Liverpool, a then record fee for a British player. At his peak he was picked for England in nine games between 2010-2012, including scoring against Sweden at Euro 2012. He was sold by Liverpool to West Ham but struggled with a series of injuries. His career saw him moving on to a succession of clubs including back to Newcastle, later to Reading and then West Brom. Carroll's career, although full of ups and downs, has brought him enormous sums of money. In May 2019, he was listed as the 14th wealthiest sports person aged 30 or under in The Sunday Times Rich List. His fortune at the time was said to have increased to £19million.

Princess Andre gives huge clue she's reunited with mum Katie Price amid ‘rift' and social media row with Peter Andre
PRINCESS Andre has dropped a huge clue that she has reunited with her mum Katie Price amid their 'rift'. The mother and daughter were understood to be locked in a secret feud after Katie revealed she had been banned from appearing in Princess' solo reality TV show, The Princess Diaries. 6 6 6 Katie went on to allege that Princess' management team, the same as her dad's Peter Andre, had advised that it was best for Princess to not be seen with her mother publicly. The mum-of-five was also left reeling after being snubbed from her own daughter's 18th birthday party after cameras were rolling for her show. The intense row has now spilled out between Katie and Peter with both taking jabs at each other online in recent days. However, Princess has now dropped a huge clue that she has secretly reunited with her mum. The influencer took to Snapchat to share two video clips of hairless cats. The first video featured newborn hairless cats - almost identical to those famously owned by her mother. Whilst Princess did not mention Katie or where she was in the video, it was a huge indication that she had been to visit her mum and the kittens. Earlier this week, Katie revealed on her podcast that her cat was due to give birth and she shared her own snaps of the newborn kittens to Snapchat earlier this week. The kittens in both Katie and Princess' social media uploads appear to be the same. It would mark the first reunion between Katie and Princess since her show dropped and the feud between her and Peter escalated online. Princess Andre snubs mum Katie Price from intimate dinner as she reveals her birthday party guestlist Amid the feud, Princess insisted that her mum was still "supportive" despite her public deceleration that she would not watch her daughter's ITV2 show. When asked how much input both her parents had been able to put into the show, Princess told The Sun: "They have both just been very supportive. "They have both said 'you do you' and be yourself." Her brother Junior then added: "They are both proud of us." Katie had offered to film for three days for free as part of Princess' show but her request was turned down and it was later clarified that she would not be appearing at all. Telly bosses and industry insiders reportedly made the decision because it is 'not good for Princess to be seen with Katie '. Earlier this week, Peter released a bombshell statement in which he addressed his ex and her recent comments for the first time. 6 6 Peter wrote: "For sixteen years I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silence has been incredibly frustrating." He continued: "That ends today." "The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. "For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood. "In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before out of respect for my children." Pete went on: "In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases found my ex wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise, to me and my management. "The same falsehoods are being repeated today." He concluded: "Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations that I have yet to address. Those will be dealt with in the coming months." It comes just hours after Katie claimed Princess was living with her on her latest podcast. She said: "I've missed out so much with Princess. I haven't watched the show, but, people have told me how proud I should be of the kids and how they Princess does talk highly of me all the way through it so although I'm not in the show she speaks about me all the time which is really sweet. "But why wouldn't she, because she lives with me. And this is another thing I need to clear up, the kids have never lived just with Pete, we've shared the kids." 6
