Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is set to leave the club following Saturday's Champions League final defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.
Inzaghi, 49, has won everything domestically during his four years at Inter, winning the Serie A title in 2023-24, the Coppa Italia twice and the Supercoppa Italiana on three occasions, in addition to reaching two Champions League finals.

His exit comes amid a transformational offer from Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal. The club have been without a permanent head coach since the departure of Jorge Jesus in May.
Inzaghi becomes the latest high-profile managerial departure in Serie A in recent weeks, after Milan sacked Sergio Conceicao on May 29 and long-serving Atalanta head coach Gian Piero Gasperini left his position on June 1.
Inzaghi joined Inter in 2021 following five years in charge of Lazio. He won six trophies with the club and led the side the Champions League final in 2023 and 2025, losing 1-0 to Manchester City two years ago and suffering a 5-0 loss against PSG on May 31.
The defeat saw Inter end the 2024-25 campaign without a major trophy after narrowly missing out on the Scudetto to Napoli, losing the Supercoppa Italiana final to Milan and being eliminated by their city rivals again in the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia.
The 47-year-old said in his post-final press conference in Munich that he wanted to avoid conversation over what lies ahead.
'It's not the right time to talk about the future,' he said after the 5-0 defeat. 'We played 59 games this season, we got to this final, so it's awkward to talk about my future now.'
Inter have another shot at silverware in this summer's Club World Cup. Inter have been placed in Group E and take on Mexican side Monterrey on June 17. They are also set to face Japanese team Urawa Red Diamonds and River Plate of Argentina in the group stage.

Atletico Madrid press for Milan's Theo Hernandez amidst Al-Hilal interest

La Liga outfits Atletico Madrid are pressing to sign Milan left-back Theo Hernandez as Al-Hilal remain a threat. According to a report by Gianluca Di Marzio, Atletico Madrid have decided not to bow down to Saudi Arabian competition as they are actively negotiating with Milan for Theo Hernandez. Advertisement There is still a huge gap to be bridged by the Spanish club as their undisclosed offer price is worth much less than the Rossoneri's demands. It is of no surprise that Milan have increased their asking price following the introduction of Al-Hilal as a potential destination for Hernandez. Milan will not accept any players in exchange and are looking to get only cash to ease their finances from the Frenchman's sale. Sporting director Igli Tare is working to get the maximum value for their star player after selling Tijjani Reijnders to Manchester City for a sizeable package. Hernandez prefers to move to Atletico Madrid and his reluctance to go to Saudi Arabia could appear as an advantage for Los Colchoneros. Trambak Bhattacherjee | GIFN

Pep Guardiola issues four-word demand to Manchester City bosses over transfer plans

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has issued a clear demand to his colleagues in recruitment positions over their summer transfer window activity. It's going to be a busy summer of transfer dealings at the Etihad Stadium as club officials look to trim the wage bill by parting ways with current players who have failed to live up to expectations and recruit four to five new signings. Advertisement Jack Grealish is expected to leave the club this summer and there is interest in John Stones as the 31-year-old enters the final year of his contract, with Kyle Walker and Kalvin Phillips also expected to seal permanent exits ahead of the 2025-26 campaign. Kevin De Bruyne played his final game in a Manchester City shirt on the last day of the Premier League campaign against Fulham at Craven Cottage – and the Belgium international is expected to be soon announced as a new Napoli player after agreeing a two-year contract with the recently-crowned Serie A winners. Manchester City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak has outlined the club's ambitions of completing their major transfer business in time for their FIFA Club World Cup campaign, with Grealish set to be left out of the squad to complete what now seems an inevitable exit. Advertisement City have reached a full agreement with AC Milan to sign Tijjani Reijnders and are in direct talks with Lyon and Wolves for the signings of Rayan Cherki and Rayan Ait-Nouri respectively – with both deals expected to be completed in the coming week. Speaking to ESPN during the international break, Pep Guardiola was quizzed on what sort of additions he felt would be needed in his Manchester City squad in order to get the club back to their desired levels from next season. 'Always the same: Give me good players. The rest, it doesn't matter,' Guardiola insisted. 'The good players can adapt and adjust,' he continued. 'We will adapt the movement or tactics or whatever things we say as managers for the quality of the players. Advertisement 'And especially (give me) players that go to Anfield, go to (Real) Madrid, the (Santiago) Bernabéu, Barcelona, Camp Nou or wherever and say: 'Okay, I'm going to play my best'. That is the difference, the top players have that.' Guardiola added while speaking in his role as an investor in a medical centre focused on personalised healthcare, Monarka Clinic: 'But we are not adjusting for the fact that we (had a tough season). If we win, I don't have to adjust anything? That is a mistake. 'When you win, you also have to adjust things. Day by day, game by game, week by week (you adjust). Of course we are going to adjust some things, but not for the fact that we just won the Community Shield.'
