Woman suffers serious burns in ‘targeted assault' in Langley, B.C.
Officers with the Langley RCMP responded to a report of a woman in distress in the 20300 block of the Fraser Highway at approximately 6:35 p.m. Saturday.
Police found the 33-year-old victim 'suffering from severe burns,' according to a news release from the detachment Monday.
The woman was transported to hospital for urgent treatment of her injuries.

'We believe the victim was deliberately exposed to an unknown substance, resulting in serious burns consistent with an intentional act.'
Authorities are asking anyone with information related to the incident to contact investigators
Anyone with video from the area at the time of the attack is also asked to contact the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
