
Driver charged after crashing into fire hydrant in Arnprior, Ont. and running away

An eastern Ontario man is facing several charges following a crash in Arnprior Thursday night.
Ontario Provincial Police say a driver struck a fire hydrant on Morgan Clouthier Way at around 10:30 p.m. and then allegedly ran away from the scene.
Police later located the suspect in McNab/Braeside.
The 20-year-old man is facing charges of impaired driving, failing to remain at the scene of a crash, failing to report an accident, and driving with open liquor.
He is due in court in July.
