Rumours Justin Bieber is 'set to announce Aussie tour' following new album release and cancelled 2022 shows
The 31-year-old pop star, who just released his seventh studio album Swag to critical acclaim, is reportedly set to announce an Aussie tour soon.
The rumours began circulating this week after 6PR Perth 's Millsy and Karl mentioned the star's much-anticipated return Down Under.
'Rumour has it that with the release of his new album Swag, pop icon Justin Bieber will announce an Australian tour … he will make his way to Perth,' the radio program claimed.
The speculation is unsurprising as it is standard practice for artists to to announce a new album, then tour under the same name.

However, despite the rampant rumours, Justin has not yet confirmed whether he will be touring the album, nor has Frontier Touring, who told Rolling Stone it had no information on any potential Australian tour dates.
Frontier Touring was responsible for promoting Justin's slew of cancelled shows three years ago.
At the time, the company told Daily Mail Australia Justin was pausing his tour for health reasons.
'We are aware that Justin Bieber has decided to take a break from touring and wish Justin a speedy recovery and admire his decision to put his health first,' the promoter said in a statement.
The Canadian star postponed a series of concerts after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome - a rare neurological condition that left him suffering facial paralysis.
Justin revealed via social media that he'd be stepping back from touring to focus on his well-being.
'Earlier this year, I went public about my battle with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome, where my face was partly paralysed,' he said in an Instagram story.
'As a result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North America leg of the Justice Tour.
'After resting and consulting with my doctors, family and team, I went to Europe in an effort to continue with the tour. I performed six live shows, but it took a real toll on me.
'This past weekend, I performed at Rock in Rio and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil. After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realized I need to make my health the priority right now.
'So I'm going to take a break from touring for the time being. I'm going to be OK, but I need time to rest and get better (sic)."
He thanked his fans for their support, saying: 'I've been so proud to bring this show and our message of Justice to the world. Thank you for your prayers and support throughout all of this! I love you all passionately!'
However, the following year, Justin cancelled the tour altogether and assured fans they would all be receiving refunds for their tickets.

Prince Andrew's daily routine at Royal Lodge 'revealed' as he leads life 'below the radar'
Royal experts have provided some insight into Prince Andrew's daily routine inside Royal Lodge where he lives in the huge mansion alongside his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson A new documentary about Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson provided some insight into how the scandal-hit Duke of York spends his days. Andrew, the third child of the late Queen Elizabeth, has been involved in various scandals in recent years, from his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein to allegations of sexual impropriety. The number of controversies resulted in him resigning from all public roles in May 2020 which begs the question – how does the 65-year-old now spend his daily life? Royal experts claimed to have some of those answers and they made the revelations in an upcoming Channel 5 documentary called Fergie, Andrew & the Scandal of SouthYork. We know for sure that Andrew lives in Royal Lodge, a 30-room mansion, with his former wife Fergie, despite the pair divorcing in 1996. And speaking about the unusual set up, and giving insight into the Duke's lifestyle, Richard Kay, royal commentator for the Daily Mail, claimed on the programme: 'What does he do all day? Well he doesn't do very much. He is having to lead a life very much below the radar.' Royal expert Jennie Bond then provided more detail and claimed: 'He will sit at the big screen and watch the planes taking off and landing at airports… ehm, well, everyone to their own choice.' Not holding back, another royal expert, Sarah Hewson, concluded the segment with the words: 'Sarah Ferguson has described her former husband as a sad man and it is a very sad existence that he now leads.' The documentary itself looks into the lives of Andrew and Sarah before they moved into Royal Lodge. They focus on the controversial Sunninghill Park in Berkshire which was once the home of the couple and their daughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice. The pair got married at Westminster Palace 39 years ago this month and despite their eventual separation, they continue to support each other through troubling times. Fergie spoke to Good Morning America in 2021 where she reflected on her wedding day with remarkable fondness. She gushed: 'He is a great man and [our wedding day] was the best day of my life. I would do it all over again because he was a very good-looking sailor, but I fell in love with him and I think love conquers all.' They announced their shock split in 1992 before officially divorcing four years later. However, they co-parented their daughters, tried to carry on normally, and supported each other at big family events. The Duchess of York spoke to the Sunday Times in 2021 about why she continues to live with him in Royal Lodge. She said: 'I travel a lot and I've always been able to make wherever I am home. 'If I am staying in a hotel I have the same family photographs and scented candles around me. When I'm in the UK I'm lucky enough to stay at Royal Lodge. I wouldn't call it my home as that would be presumptuous.'

Rosamund Pike is riveting in theatre's spin on Adolescence
Boasting the triumphant return of Rosamund Pike to the stage after 15 screen-dominated years away, Inter Alia is the eagerly awaited follow-up to Prima Facie from Australian lawyer-turned-playwright Suzie Miller. That phenomenal one-woman play about sexual assault, consent and the failings of the criminal justice system was an award-winning tour de force for Jodie Comer in the West End in 2022 and then on Broadway. Inter Alia has a lot in common with its agenda-setting predecessor: aside from its title being another Latin legal term and Justin Martin directing again, the play revisits the emotive subject of sexual offences and how the law works, only this time involving teenagers. It grips, too, and is gut-wrenching, but in comparison feels sketchier. Comer played a top-flight barrister whose confidence in herself and the law takes a battering following a sexual assault that finds her experiencing the legal system from the other side. Here, Pike plays Jessica, a high-powered Crown Court judge whose desire to see better treatment and outcomes for female sexual assault victims runs up against the mother of all agonised upsets on the home-front, when her own 18-year-old son stands accused of rape following a boozy party. Once again, the piece calls for a transfixing, shape-shifting performance from its star, and the hurtling 105-minute action showcases Pike's theatrical bravura. She can hold a stage as vast as the Lyttelton with immaculate assurance. But where Prima Facie was a full-on monologue, here we also see the characters closest to Jessica – her husband Michael (Jamie Glover), a successful, competitive silk himself, and shy, troubled son Harry (Jasper Talbot). That enlargement of scope is a mixed blessing. Where the comparable Netflix hit Adolescence got under the skin of 'toxic masculinity', what comes across here is a palpable sense of maternal helplessness but also a lack of insight into what's really going on with her child. When we first see Pike's heroine, she rises up on a platform in wig and gowns, with a mic in hand, striking the attitude of a rock star, the swaggering, tongue-in-cheek touch augmented by accompaniment on guitar and drums (a skulking Glover and Talbot). That poise – evidence of her courtroom command – comes under pressure from her multi-tasking requirements as a mother. Diving in and out of different clothes, Pike is coolly efficient, wryly confiding and forever pulled in different directions (Miriam Buether's set conjuring legal realm, affluent kitchen and darker hinterlands). Her hurried lifestyle – with darting evocations of Harry's childhood too as she broods over past parenting – can seem entertainingly frenetic but the overload has had a cost; the online world has become Harry's surrogate shaping influence. Glover and Talbot bring a brusque reticence and contrasting despair to their roles but the script positions them almost as peripheral. As more information is revealed, our sympathies shift – and that takes in Jessica herself; caught between knowing how the legal system works, how it should work, and her own protective instincts as a mother. She's sent into a freefall, anguish and self-recrimination memorably etched on Pike's face. I suspect a lot of parents will identify with the scenario: the peril of complacency, the dread of catastrophe. And if the evening stirs debate about how one generation guides the next, how men should behave and how the culture can foster respect, safety and justice for women, it's all to the good. Whether it will have the same impact of Prima Facie is open to question. Until Sept 13. Tickets:

See the telling signs that are fuelling speculation one of footy's biggest stars has split with his AFLW girlfriend
In-demand footy star Harley Reid could be single and ready to mingle, if his updated Instagram is any guide. The West Coast Eagles midfielder, 20, has been dating Yasmin Duursma since January last year - but the footballers appear to have split. Duursma plays for Carlton in the AFLW, and the pair have known one another since their pre-teens after both growing up in Victoria. A quick search of Reid's Instagram page reveals the rising star has removed Duursma's initials from his Instagram bio - while Duursma has deleted pictures of the pair from her own feed. The couple made their red carpet debut together at last year's Brownlow Medal. Meanwhile, speculation is mounting that Reid could sign the 'biggest deal in AFL history' with West Coast. Reid has known Duursma (pictured together) since they were both growing up in Victoria AFL Media reporter Cal Twomey told Footy Classified this week it was 'crunch time' when it comes to Reid's future in Western Australia. 'He's had contract offers in front of him since April that have come from the Eagles,' Twomey said. 'But in recent weeks, his management have sent counter offers to the Eagles – and a part of that includes a mammoth offer that would be a two-year extension, plus an extension on top of that of another nine years. 'So an 11-year arrangement. 'This is ground-breaking, really, it would be the biggest deal in AFL history by some way and it would take him through to the end of 2037. '(We are talking) $20 million-plus would be on the table.' Hawthorn and Geelong - who Reid supported as a child - are also said to be interested in securing his services. If struggling West Coast - who have only won one game this AFL season - and Reid agreed to the bumper deal tabled by his management, it would be similar to the contract offered to Port Adelaide's Miles Bergman. Bergman, 23, inked a two-year deal in July and can sign for an extra seven years with the Power if he chooses.
