ESPN sports analyst Kirk Herbstreit, most known for his work on College GameDay and Thursday Night Football, went viral with his former dog Ben, who passed away in November 2024.

Ben's younger brother, Peter, has filled the void and been a sensational piece of Herbstreit's life, and is fully integrated in the College GameDay crew.
Beloved by all members of the team, Herbstreit posted a picture with the young golden retriever with former Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban, teasing a major announcement upcoming.
A new Home Depot commercial featuring both Herbstreits and Saban is set to release soon, and the picture of them more than adds to the hype.

The College GameDay crew and Home Depot have had a good working relationship, as seen before in multiple commercials, as well as partnerships with the two live on air.

Herbstreit, Saban, and the rest of the team have all shown a bright light into the college football experience, and continuing to branch out to attract more viewership to one of the best analyst panels in sports.
The college football season is still a few months away, but with training camps underway, and now the announcement of a big Home Depot commercial with the ESPN crew certainly builds lots of hype, and something fans are ready to have back.
College GameDay brings a lot of the country together every Saturday morning before games kick off around the country, and the growth with recent additions in Saban and Pat McAfee, as well as the retirement announcement of Lee Corso after this season will make this season one to remember.

Several teams have crafted their summer plans in anticipation of the two-time MVP hitting the market. However, they may be forced to look elsewhere for their star acquisition. Advertisement Up to this point, Antetokounmpo has not asked for a trade, and the Bucks are not fielding offers for the superstar forward, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst. 'Right now, there is no Giannis Antetokounmpo trade market, there is no Giannis Antetokounmpo trade discussions. He has not asked for it. The Bucks are not looking to trade him,' Windhorst said on GetUp. ESPN's Shams Charania reported last month that Antetokounmpo was 'open-minded about exploring whether his best long-term fit is remaining in Milwaukee or playing elsewhere.' However, Antetokounmpo seemingly confirmed his desire to remain in Milwaukee during a recent interview with Coast to Coast Brazil.
