They have warned social media users against trolling, defamation, and negative campaigns targeting the movie. The statement mentioned that legal action would be taken against individuals posting harsh and insensitive comments about the film. The Delhi High Court has granted protection to the personality and publicity rights of two key stakeholders and principal actors of Kannappa, Mohan Babu and Vishnu Manchu.
