Steve Austin breaks silence on WrestleMania 41 ATV crash: 'I was embarrassed'
WrestleMania 41 delivered big moments, but one of the most unexpected scenes came not in the ring, but on the ramp - when WWE Hall of Famer 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin lost control of his ATV during his entrance.

The moment quickly went viral as Austin, known for his iconic four-wheeler entrances, misjudged a turn and slammed into the barricade, accidentally knocking over a fan.
The incident happened at Allegiant Stadium during Austin's second lap around the ring. While the WWE legend quickly checked on the fan and proceeded with his segment, backstage officials were visibly concerned. WWE President Nick Khan was seen approaching the fan to ensure everything was alright, as the moment had startled both the audience and company staff.
Steve Austin opens up about the crash
Now, Steve Austin himself has addressed the crash during an interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, shedding light on what went wrong during the high-profile segment. According to Austin, the issue wasn't due to reckless driving but rather an unfamiliar throttle system on the vehicle.

'Different throttle setup than what I'm used to,' Austin explained. 'Long story short, just a different throttle system. I'm pretty dang handy on a four-wheeler.'
Despite his experience, the miscalculation led to a very public slip-up, something Austin admits left him embarrassed. 'You go out there on the biggest night in wrestling, and you end up like that… It's not the greatest day at the office,' he added.
What stood out, however, was how Austin handled the aftermath. Following his in-ring promo, where he cheekily questioned the official attendance figure and raised his signature beer toast, Austin went back to personally check on the fan involved.

No legal action has been reported, and it appears the matter was quietly resolved.
Online, fans were quick to praise Austin not only for addressing the issue candidly but also for his sportsmanship. The incident, while unfortunate, didn't overshadow his enduring popularity or legacy.
The ATV mishap aside, WrestleMania 41 marked another chapter in Austin's storied career. His previous match at WrestleMania 38 and the recent induction of his 1997 submission bout with Bret Hart into the WWE Hall of Fame's 'Immortal Moments' show that the Texas Rattlesnake still commands attention.
Even when things don't go as planned, Steve Austin proves he's still one of the most respected figures in the business.

3 dream WWE matches for Sting that never happened — But should have!
Image via WWE Sting had a short tenure in WWE , wrestling only a handful of matches. Sting is one of the most renowned legends in the professional wrestling world. The man who carried WCW on his back for years was dubbed 'The Franchise' of the promotion. After WCW closed down in 2001, Sting chose to explore the outside wrestling scene and not join the giant WWE. However, after thirteen years, The Icon finally made his shocking debut in WWE at the 2014 Survivor Series event. Upon his debut, Sting was used as a part-time attraction and wrestled a few matches against stars like Triple H and Seth Rollins. Despite putting up great performances against them, here are the three WWE matches he should be a part of: 3. Bray Wyatt At the time, Sting was a part of WWE; Bray Wyatt was captivating the WWE Universe with his dark antics, mysterious personality, and vision to take the whole world in his hands. In Sting's WrestleMania debut, Wyatt himself wrestled a legend like The Undertaker , which meant that he was poised for great success. WWE should have explored a feud between Sting and Bray Wyatt after that, which would have been an exciting program to witness between the two dark forces. 2. John Cena Much like Sting, John Cena had been the Franchise Player in WWE. He was in the prime of his career during Sting's tenure in the Sports Entertainment juggernaut. Moreover, Cena and Sting even teamed up for a match on Monday Night RAW, which was a memorable sight to witness. However, WWE should have had a battle between the franchises of WCW and WWE inside the squared circle, and it would have been a blockbuster showdown. 1. The Undertaker The one dream match for Sting that the fans had been longing for years was his battle against the equally respected legend and character, The Undertaker. Both men were locked room leaders for WWE and WCW during the heights of the Monday Night Wars. While both men did wrestle during the early beginnings of their careers, they did not share the ring in their prime. In fact, during Sting's time in WWE, The Undertaker was still an active performer. Yet, WWE still decided not to book this match. While it looked like it could happen at WrestleMania 31, WWE ultimately chose to go with Triple H as Sting's opponent instead of The Phenom. Is this the end? Seth Rollins speaks out on WWE career and what's next
Image via WWE WWE superstar Seth Rollins has ignited speculation about his future in professional wrestling after making candid remarks about the state of his body, career longevity, and the looming finish line. In an interview on the Up & Adams Show, Rollins reflected on his 21-year journey in the ring - a journey that may be closer to its final chapter than fans expected. 'I just turned 39… been wrestling for 21 years, almost 22, non-stop. Only small breaks for rehab injuries,' Rollins told host Kay Adams. 'Before that, I was throwing myself in the backyard with my friends. So you're looking at 25 years of wrestling.' Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams | WWE Superstar Seth Rollins | June 5, 2025 While Rollins maintained he still feels physically strong, he acknowledged that time is catching up. 'I certainly feel closer to the end than the beginning. I'm not doing 25 more years of this,' he said. 'I don't know what that looks like on the backend, but I feel good right now.' Peak performance amid retirement whispers Currently aligned with Paul Heyman and leading a dominant new faction that includes Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker, Rollins has arguably been in one of his most intriguing runs in WWE . Despite his comments on retirement, he hasn't slowed down inside the ring or on-screen. Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed stand tall: Raw highlights, June 2, 2025 On RAW and SmackDown, Rollins has made his presence felt - eliminating competition and reshaping the narrative ahead of Money in the Bank 2025. He was instrumental in sidelining CM Punk from the qualifying match and has remained a thorn in the side of returning heavyweights like Roman Reigns. Fans are now left wondering, could this year's Money in the Bank be Rollins' last title push? Seth Rollins sparks debate with unfiltered views Rollins didn't stop at career talk. In a surprising moment during the interview, he named Hulk Hogan as someone he'd like to see "get crushed" in the ring. Without diving into specifics, he stated, 'Hollywood Hulk Hogan not a good guy. Terry Bollea also not the best guy.' While the reason for this grudge remains unclear, Rollins' brutally honest remarks have added fuel to online speculation and fan debates. As the WWE Universe prepares for a blockbuster weekend, all eyes will be on The Visionary - not just to see if he wins the briefcase, but to find out if this could be the beginning of the end for one of WWE's most iconic modern stars. 7 players missing from the WWE Money in the Bank 2025 cards
WWE Money in the Bank (MITB) is back. John Cena and Cody Rhodes will be in a massive tag team as part of the show, and a Women's Intercontinental Championship between Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria has also been announced, apart from the traditional ladder matches. Despite this progress, a couple of key names seem to be missing from the roll of players who will have a shot at grabbing the briefcase on top of the ring. Perhaps the biggest shocker for MITB fans came when WWE legend CM Punk was missing from the list of those scheduled to compete. Punk's decades-long feud with Seth Rollins could be a potential contributing factor to this, although no confirmation has been provided for the same. Sami Zayn's defeat in Saturday Night's Main Event has led to him being kicked out of the MITB championship this year. However, his creative team's claims of preparing him for something much bigger leave room open for Zayn to be part of a tag team against Seth Rollins' faction at SummerSlam. Although there are no personal feuds pending to Charlotte Flair's name, her loss at the qualifying match on the blue brand and dearth of matches in the ring have left MITB out of her plans this year. United States breakout champion Jacob Fatu has things going as well as they could be. His work on the blue brand and recent performance left many puzzled as to why Fatu was left off the roll for no reason but he doesn't seem to be in any urgent need of MITB fame as well. Finn Balor lost his qualifying match to Seth Rollins. Despite his numerous television appearances, the industry still hasn't granted him sufficient premium live event opportunities. Fans are still hopeful of the possibility that WWE might include Balor in the SummerSlam. As one-half of the reigning Women's Tag Team Champions, Liv Morgan's absence from MITB seems to stem from her Judgement Day drama. Reports suggest that the possibility of Dominik Mysterio betraying her to partner up with Roxanne Perez is not off the table. Morgan is scheduled for a feud against Iyo Sky soon. A feud with Naomi and Tiffany Stratton and a loss in the qualifying match against the former seems to have put MITB out of Jade Cargill's cards. Her return at Elimination Chamber 2025 and a blue brand moment at WrestleMania were recent successes in Cargill's career. Many speculate that she may still be present at the MITB match to lower Naomi's chances of winning. The championship is scheduled to take place on Saturday (June 7) at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California at 7:00 PM ET (4:00 PM PT).
