WWE superstar
Seth Rollins
has ignited speculation about his future in professional wrestling after making candid remarks about the state of his body, career longevity, and the looming finish line.
In an interview on the Up & Adams Show, Rollins reflected on his 21-year journey in the ring - a journey that may be closer to its final chapter than fans expected.
'I just turned 39… been wrestling for 21 years, almost 22, non-stop. Only small breaks for rehab injuries,' Rollins told host Kay Adams. 'Before that, I was throwing myself in the backyard with my friends. So you're looking at 25 years of wrestling.'

While Rollins maintained he still feels physically strong, he acknowledged that time is catching up.
'I certainly feel closer to the end than the beginning. I'm not doing 25 more years of this,' he said. 'I don't know what that looks like on the backend, but I feel good right now.'
Peak performance amid retirement whispers
Currently aligned with Paul Heyman and leading a dominant new faction that includes Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker, Rollins has arguably been in one of his most intriguing runs in
WWE
. Despite his comments on retirement, he hasn't slowed down inside the ring or on-screen.

On RAW and SmackDown, Rollins has made his presence felt - eliminating competition and reshaping the narrative ahead of Money in the Bank 2025. He was instrumental in sidelining CM Punk from the qualifying match and has remained a thorn in the side of returning heavyweights like Roman Reigns.
Fans are now left wondering, could this year's Money in the Bank be Rollins' last title push?
Seth Rollins sparks debate with unfiltered views
Rollins didn't stop at career talk.
In a surprising moment during the interview, he named Hulk Hogan as someone he'd like to see "get crushed" in the ring. Without diving into specifics, he stated, 'Hollywood Hulk Hogan not a good guy. Terry Bollea also not the best guy.'
While the reason for this grudge remains unclear, Rollins' brutally honest remarks have added fuel to online speculation and fan debates.
As the WWE Universe prepares for a blockbuster weekend, all eyes will be on The Visionary - not just to see if he wins the briefcase, but to find out if this could be the beginning of the end for one of WWE's most iconic modern stars.

'Over 450 first-class wickets, years of service for UP and Gujarat to being the 3rd-highest wicket-taker in IPL history. Proud to have shared the field with you laddoo! Go well,' wrote Yuvraj in a heartfelt post on his 'X' account on Saturday. Chawla also grabbed 192 wickets in as many IPL matches, with his last tournament stint coming with the Mumbai Indians from 2022 to 2024. SmackDown chaos: Aleister Black goes after Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker strikes

Image via WWE WWE SmackDown descended into chaos just 24 hours before Money in the Bank, with Seth Rollins and his faction wreaking havoc across the show. What began as a standard matchup quickly turned personal, violent, and headline-worthy. Aleister Black vs LA Knight interrupted by Seth Rollins Aleister Black and LA Knight were putting on a hard-hitting contest, with both stars trading signature moves in what looked like a potential show-stealer. LA Knight landed a Burning Hammer, while Black responded with a sliding knee and springboard moonsault. But before fans could witness a conclusion, Seth Rollins interrupted the match and delivered a Stomp to Knight, costing him a clean finish. Black, who suffered an eye injury years ago due to Rollins' former disciple Buddy Matthews, wasn't ready to let the moment slide. He confronted Rollins in the ring, reigniting a personal rivalry that WWE never fully resolved. Seth Rollins and company lay waste to LA Knight: SmackDown highlights, June 6, 2025 The tension between Black and Rollins was cut short when Bron Breakker blindsided Black with a brutal spear. The crowd's reaction turned to shock as Rollins' faction, including Breakker and Bronson Reed - continued the beatdown. Moments later, Knight was also taken out with a Senton and a spear, marking a total shutdown of two of Rollins' top Money in the Bank rivals. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like You Can Make Massive Side Income By Learning Order Flow Analysis TradeWise Learn More Undo The ambush didn't end there. Andrade and Penta were also attacked after their match with The Creed Brothers, signaling Rollins' intent to eliminate all competition before Saturday's ladder match. Seth Rollins' new faction: Is 'The Shield 2.0' official? Fans online are calling it 'The Shield 2.0' after noticing the trio of Rollins, Breakker, and Reed circling the ring before launching their attacks—a clear callback to Rollins' days alongside Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. With Paul Heyman also appearing with the group earlier in the night, speculation about this being WWE's next dominant faction is growing louder. Social media lit up with passionate responses following the chaotic sequence. While some fans praised the intensity and storytelling, many were disappointed that a promising match between Aleister Black and LA Knight didn't get a proper finish. 'Match was cooking, Seth sees LA Knight as his biggest competition,' one fan wrote, highlighting the belief that Rollins is strategically targeting top threats before Money in the Bank. Another fan commented, 'Y'all couldn't just let a great match have a finish?' expressing frustration with what some see as overbooking. Meanwhile, a longtime viewer recalled, 'He kept that bad eye throughout his entire AEW run - thanks to Rollins when he gave the orders to Murphy, now Buddy Matthews.' The callback added emotional weight to Black's confrontation with Rollins. Despite criticism, the segment achieved its goal - fueling intrigue ahead of Saturday's ladder match. WWE has positioned Rollins' faction as a dominant force, and fans are now speculating whether this new unit will shape the outcome of Money in the Bank.
