Urgent appeal issued as Lotto winner has just hours left to claim €500k prize
A Daily Million plus player is sitting on a winning ticket worth a jaw-dropping €500,000 prize, but the punter has just hours left to collect their winnings before they become null and void.
The life-changing sum was won in the 2pm draw Daily Millions Plus draw on Friday, March 28, with Lotto bosses revealing that the winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Tesco in Stillorgan Shopping Centre in Stillorgan, Co Dublin, on the day of the draw.
The winning Daily Million Plus (2pm on Friday, March 28) numbers were: 17, 22, 23, 25, 30, 37 and the bonus was 32.
Ticket holders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize, which means the Dubliner has until 5pm today (Thursday, June), to claim.
If the prizes are not claimed within 90 days of the draw date, they will go to promote the National Lottery which in turn will increase the funds raised for Good Causes.
National Lottery spokesperson Emma Monaghan is urging all Daily Million Plus players in Dublin to carefully check their old tickets from late March to ensure they do not miss out on claiming this substantial prize.
"With just hours left to go until the claim deadline for the €500,000 Daily Million Plus prize, we urge everyone who bought a ticket at Tesco in Stillorgan Shopping Centre to immediately check their old tickets very carefully," she said.
"We are keeping our fingers crossed that the winner contacts us very soon. The ticketholder is advised to sign the back of their ticket and make contact with our Prize Claims Team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie as soon as possible and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize at Lottery HQ.'
If you're holding the winning ticket, sign the back of it and keep it somewhere safe. Contact the National Lottery prize claims team as soon as possible on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie. Arrangements will be made for you to collect your prize at Lottery HQ.
