Plenty of sunshine this week with just a slight shower chance

Yahoo27-05-2025

SALT LAKE CITY () — Happy Monday, Utah! Our Monday afternoon will feature plenty of sunshine with just a few spotty showers, primarily in the mountains. Highs will warm into the mid-80s for the Wasatch Front, with highs in the 90s for SW Utah.
Tuesday will feature partly sunny skies with a few isolated showers possible. The best chance will be over the higher terrain across Utah. Highs will warm into the mid-80s for the Wasatch Front and mid-90s for SW Utah.
A weak disturbance will move east across Colorado on Wednesday, but lingering moisture will still give eastern areas a slight chance for a pop-up shower. Otherwise, temps will climb into the mid to upper 80s for the Wasatch Front, and mid to upper 90s for SW Utah.
A stronger ridge of high pressure will build across the Beehive state later this week, bringing a drier airmass and even warmer weather. This weekend, high temperatures will be approaching the 90s for the 1st time this season, with highs in the triple digits for the 1st time for SW Utah. Some of our temperatures will approach record highs by Saturday.
We look to remain mainly dry and warm until the beginning of next week.
