Ben Affleck Has Priceless Reaction When Son Samuel, 13, Eyes a Pair of $6,000 Dior Air Force 1s While at a Sneaker Convention
Ben Affleck had the most relatable parent moment when his son was looking at an expensive pair of sneakers.
The He's Just Not That Into You actor, 52, and his son Samuel, 13, recently had a father-son outing at a sneaker convention. As soon as the two sneakerheads entered the convention space, Affleck's son stopped to eye a pair of $6,000 Dior Air Force 1s. Once the Gone Girl star saw the price of the sneakers, his reaction was priceless.
"That's a lot of lawns you gotta mow there," Affleck joked, adding that his 13-year-old son only liked the shoes because they were expensive. Samuel quickly objected, saying, "No, they're tough! I always said they look good."

The Justice League star shares his three children, Samuel, Seraphina, 16, and Violet, 19, with ex-wife actress Jennifer Garner, 52. Over the years, the former couple have worked hard to keep their kids out of the spotlight, particularly regarding paparazzi photos and social media.
The actor was recently photographed alongside his son as the two enjoyed a night out together at the Los Angeles Lakers vs Minnesota Timberwolves basketball game on Thursday, Feb. 27. Affleck could be seen wearing a gray coat and dark jeans for their outing.
Next to Affleck, Samuel wore a black Lakers sweatshirt and gray sweatpants, mimicking his dad's smolder as the father-son duo posed for the camera.
Appearing on an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show in April 2023, the Air star shared how he's holding the little moments with his children close as they continue to grow older.
When asked if there's a life moment Affleck would want to live again, the actor replied, "There's so many things, the birth of my children, all the things that I've done with my kids. It's just the joy of life, it's the heart of life."
"These beautiful children who are innocent and loving and want to sit on your lap and hold you, and then they turn into, 'You can close the door,' like, 'Oh so you don't want to play Chutes and Ladders, I can just go?' " he continued with a laugh. "It's the gift of life all those moments and I'm beginning to see now how they are fleeting but now I treasure all these little moments."

This time around, Munn and Mulaney, 42, opted for a surrogate after the 'Buddy Games' alum underwent a double mastectomy and hysterectomy following her breast cancer diagnosis. Original estimates had the piece going for anywhere from $5,000 to 8,000. The piece far exceeded expectations, opening at $14,000 and ultimately selling for a stunning $35,200. In a statement about the sale, Waithe shares, "I will cherish this piece of television history for the rest of my life.
