Lola Young opens up on her sexuality with X-rated comment

Daily Mail2 days ago

Lola Young has opened up about her sexuality after she responded to a comment on her recent TikTok video.
The Messy hitmaker, 24, who wowed fans with her performance at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Liverpool on Sunday, took to social media later that day and fans went wild for the post.
Dancing and lip syncing to CMAT's track Take A Sexy Picture Of Me, viewers headed straight to the comments to share their love for the star.
While one fan joked: 'no man deserves this' Lola unexpectedly replied as she confirmed she does not identify as straight writing: 'i like p***y as well u kno' [sic].
CMAT also loved the tribute to her song as she replied with a series of crying emojis and penned: 'i love u so much this is the best day of my life. ur so fit'.

The lyrics of CMAT's new song go 'I did the butcher, I did the baker / I did the home and the family maker / I did schoolgirl fantasies / Oh, I did leg things and hand stuff / And single woman banter / Now tell me, what was in it for me?'.
Lola, who is a Brit School alum, has soared to stardom this year after she went viral with her hit song Messy and was even nominated for two BRIT Awards.
And earlier this month the star took to social media to promote her ADHD medicine, Concerta, because it makes her 'see mess now and clean things up'.
Lola highlighted that there was an 'over glamorisation' of the hyperactivity disorder which has broken out among Gen Z with many 'jumping on the bandwagon'.
But, she argued, the glorification of ADHD in recent years has also helped break down the stigma and made sure 'people are aware of what it's doing to your brain'.
The Croydon-born pop singer said: 'Six months ago I started taking Concerta and it has genuinely changed my life, my thought processing and it's changed how I see mess and I can clear up, I feel genuinely a lot happier.
'My experience on Concerta has been incredible, and I would highly recommend it. I think it's super important to break down the stigma of taking medication for mental health because, right now, if you had a heart condition, you may take some.
'So we should make sure physical health and mental health are viewed on par.'
CMAT also loved the tribute to her song as she replied with a series of crying emojis and penned: 'i love u so much this is the best day of my life. ur so fit'
Lola also emphasised the importance of getting a diagnosis of ADHD can 'change your life'.
She said: 'Getting a diagnosis can help you understand, but I would also recommend getting the medication I am on, which is Concerta.'
Concerta is a drug that increases attention and decreases impulsiveness and hyperactivity in patients with ADHD.
People taking the drug will feel a sense of euphoria, a higher energy level and better focus and concentration.
It is estimated 230,000 people in the UK are taking the medication for ADHD.
Lola revealed she wrote the hit single, Messy, in her bedroom and said: 'It's been speculated that it's about my parents.
'It's massively about some close family but it's a combination.
'It's more about myself, I am too messy. I've never held a broom in my life, everything in my life is a mess so it's a very fitting track.'

Peter Hickman taken to hospital after Isle of Man TT crash

Peter Hickman, the fastest rider to ever lap the Isle of Man TT course, is 'conscious and stable' after a crash during Friday qualifying. The 14-time TT winner crashed just 10 minutes into qualifying on Friday evening after suffering an off at Kerrowmoar, having set off second on the road behind pace-setter Dean Harrison. The session, the third of the day which got under way at 6:30pm, was red flagged at 6:40pm before any riders had completed a lap. The 8Ten Racing rider and team co-owner was transferred by Airmed to Noble's Hospital, with a statement issued around an hour after the accident confirming he was alert and in a stable condition. In a statement, race organisers said: 'Peter Hickman, bike number 10, came off at Kerrowmoar during lap one of the third qualifying session of TT 2025. 'He is currently reported as conscious and stable, and has been taken to Noble's Hospital by Airmed for further assessment.' Hickman was lucky to escape serious injury during last year's Senior TT when he came off his BMW at Ginger Hall, having set a time up to that point that put him on lap-record pace to break his own record of 136.358mph that stands from the 2023 event. The 38-year-old was expected to challenge for race wins across the forthcoming week alongside team-mate Davey Todd, despite the pair only setting up their new team in February this year after the collapse of FBO Racing. Todd set the pace earlier in the day with the fastest lap time on his BMW M1000 superbike machine, despite uncertainty over whether he will race that bike or the more reliable superstock bike in Sunday's opening TT race. Despite riders returning to the paddock, any further action was prevented as rain hit the island, meaning the evening session was cancelled by clerk of the course Gary Thompson. Saturday's schedule has already been altered to delay both opening races of the Supersport and Sidecar TTs after a weather-impacted practice week, allowing riders an additional day of practice before racing commences on Sunday. Honda Racing's Harrison retains the fastest lap of the week so far, setting a lap speed of 133.096mph during the opening timed session of the week on Wednesday that is yet to be beaten.

EXCLUSIVE The bombshell truth behind the Oasis 'reunion': Insiders tell ALISON BOSHOFF everything that is really going on behind the scenes and why Noel and Liam are having to be kept apart as their world tour nears

Walking into a recording studio last week, wearing sensible, comfortable trainers and carrying a hot water bottle – to aid his creaking back – Noel Gallagher looked like a man with the weight of the world on his shoulders. And no wonder. Noel, 58, is extremely busy. With just 34 days to go before the opening act of the long-awaited Oasis reunion tour, he's been rehearsing, fixing musical arrangements, nailing down the set-list and making sure that he, Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Mikey Rowe are able to recreate some of the magic which made them the biggest British band of the Nineties.

Former EastEnders star Joe Absalom looks totally unrecognisable as he joins the cast of Emmerdale

Former EastEnders star Joe Absalom is returning to our screens this summer on Emmerdale - and he looks unrecognisable 25 years after he left the BBC soap. The actor, 46, played Matthew Rose, a character who was framed for the murder of Saskia Duncan (Deborah Sheridan-Taylor), in Walford more than a quarter of a century ago between 1997 and 2000. He has since starred in a number of different shows, including ITV 's Doc Martin as AI large and Casualty. The actor is now making his return to soap television, joining the cast of Emmerdale as Ray, an old contact of the Mackenzie family who turns out to be a drug dealer. And in new photos released by ITV to promote his new gig, Joe looked understandably unrecognisable from his time in Walford all those years ago. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The actor, who had long floppy hair and a freshly shaven face when he played Matthew, is now sporting a shorter trim and a shaped grey beard. He's a far cry from his previous boyish visage and mousy middle-parting, with his salt and pepper locks giving him a decidedly more rugged look. Ahead of his debut on Emmerdale farm, the show's producer Laura Shaw said: 'We are thrilled to welcome Joe Absalom to the cast. 'It's fantastic to have such a high calibre and immensely talented actor join our wonderful team to play the role of Ray. 'Charming, charismatic and effortlessly likeable, Ray is an extremely complex character who very quickly shows his dark and villainous side to some of our most loved villagers, leaving them in no doubt as to what he's capable of.' Joe commented: 'Well what an honour to join such a talented team at Emmerdale! It's an iconic show and I'm grateful to be part of it. I can't wait to see what's in stock for Ray!' Recently the actor has been spotted in ITV's new crime drama Code Of Silence, which premiered on Sunday May 18. The six-part series sees a deaf waitress (Rose Ayling-Ellis) pulled into an investigation to help with her lip-reading skills. Joe stars in the gripping thriller as Braden Moore. ITV's announcement that the 46-year-old Brit will be joining Emmerdale comes on the same week that the broadcaster poached another seasoned BBC soap actor. Jaye Griffiths, 61, who previously starred in Casualty and Doctors, will be joining the northern-based soap as a farmer called Celia in the coming months. Her alter-ego, who is renting a neighbouring farm from Kim Tate, is introduced when she enquires about renting two of Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) fields - but Moira isn't interested. Moira is later glad she didn't give in when Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) is viciously attacked by Celia's guard dogs under suspicious circumstances. Speaking about her upcoming role, Jaye said: 'I was delighted to get this role - without giving the game away she is very different to anyone I have played before and I can't wait to really get into the heart of her storyline.' Earlier this month it was revealed Coronation Street and Emmerdale are set to make soap history with a landmark crossover episode. Fans of the ITV soaps will be over the moon to know that characters from Weatherfield and The Dales will be teaming up for a dramatic stunt that will change their lives forever. The crossover, which will be a one-off special hour-long episode, is to mark the channel's new power hour of soap - which starts in January next year. The new collaboration is set to launch the new ITV1 and STV scheduling pattern. ITV's press release explains: 'The distinctive worlds of Emmerdale and Coronation Street will merge for one night only in a 'mash-up' of our two favourite communities. 'The producers, scriptwriters and production teams have conceived an ingenious way of linking the two universes, but with characters then returning to the soaps they are renowned for inhabiting in Manchester and Yorkshire. 'The episode will be self-contained, but the consequences of the high-stakes drama will have repercussions for both communities and see them linked forever as familiar faces depart and exciting new characters arrive into both soaps.' Emmerdale airs on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
