None of it is especially shocking or dangerous, perhaps because it comes in the spirit of fun, and accompanied by synth pop beats from 'hot assistant' Chris Slist (Megana Holiday).
Gibson has abundant warmth and easiness but the show is slow to get going in terms of pace and focus. Her alter ego remains an assemblage of outre wig and mask, rather than a fully assumed identity, so feels slightly redundant. The central problem, though, is the lack of story and context. Gibson introduces the show by speaking of her grief for the Palestinian-Lebanese poet and activist Candy Royalle, who died in 2018. She also mentions her experience of domestic violence. The riotous lewdness that follows seems like a ritualistic assertion of joy in the face of those things.
Yet the grief and abuse stay unknown. There is one very potent scene using music and repeated phrases to summon the dark spirit of a courtroom. It carries great dramatic intensity and you wish for more of this.
Even if the show is fragmentary, non-narrative and experimental, it seems too unpinned and lands as an explicit variety act, which may be the desired effect for an artist who defines herself as a sex clown.
Serotonin is briefly mentioned; so are revenge and justice. There are bird sounds and disco beats. It all feels random, helter-skelter. But it also embodies the bare-bodied life, soul and spirit of a bacchanal, albeit a strangely safe one.

Kearns said the keys to making it work are being understanding, having open communication and being OK with not talking every day. 'There were times when we'd want to call every day for hours and hours and we'd do that - then the next week "I'm really busy this week, I'm exhausted", because you've got to deal with the time difference, too. Dedich added: 'If you're uncertain, don't do it.' When asked what the couple had learned about love by having a long-distance relationship, the NFL star said 'it wasn't stagnant'. 'It's something you have to work at,' Dedich said. 'You can't be just like "it was easy in the beginning, it will just stay like that". It's hard, you've got to put in effort to do extra stuff.' On Wednesday, an emotional Kearns addressed the break-up on her Instagram page, posting that she hoped the YouTube video would answer all the questions she's been getting. In August last year, Kearns revealed the touching moment Dedich surprised her at the Paris Olympics as she was walking into the swimming arena. 'Firstly, he's a rookie in the NFL and he had his first ever NFL game the next day, so it literally was not even a thought in my head,' Kearns explained in a TikTok video. 'Like, he was just doing his thing, I was doing my thing, we just knew we couldn't be there to support each other in person to support each other.' Kearns is visibly shocked in the video when she sees Dedich supporting her in the stands. 'This is one of my old water polo coaches so I was already so surprised seeing him,' she says during the video. 'Then I walk a little bit further and this is the moment I see him.' Kearns went on to explain how her boyfriend managed to make the trip happen. 'Turns out that when we won our semi final to get into the gold medal game he went up to his head coach, really ballsy of him, and basically was like, "Tell me if I'm out of line, but can I go?"' she said. 'And the coach was like, "Yeah, man, what are you still doing here? Go." And so he got on a plane that night and flew.' Dedich's whirlwind trip to Paris lasted less than 24 hours before he was back on a plane home. Kearns was born with elite sport in her veins. Her footy star father, Phil Kearns, played during the Wallabies' most successful era in the 1990s, while her mother Julie introduced her to the Olympics two weeks before giving birth. 'My parents went to the Sydney 2000 Opening Ceremony and I was in mum's belly and I was born the day after the Closing Ceremony,' Kearns said.

An Aussie man who specialises in re-selling second-hand treasures found at op-shops and garage sales has named the unlikely TV show on DVD that can earn you big bucks. And it could be even more if you happen to find a copy of it on VHS. Mat Carpenter, who is the founder of Flip Weekly, told Daily Mail that there was a huge re-sale market for copies of The Wiggles TV show. But it's not just any old copy of the long-running kids program that you should be scouring your DVD collection or local charity shop to find. According to the professional thrifter, The Wiggles DVDs with the best potential re-sale value are the show's original seasons from the 90s. 'When you're in the kids DVD section of a thrift store, there's really only one home run,' Mat explained in a TikTok video. 'I'm looking for series one, two or three. 'These DVDs contain the original episodes of The Wiggles that aired all the way back in 1998.' Mat explained that the 'sold listings are insane' for these retro items. He noted some recent eBay sales of these DVDs, with The Wiggles first season DVD selling for $140 and the third season DVD going for $285. Mat suggested that having a complete DVD set of seasons one to three could reap the biggest rewards. 'If you're able to find all three, you can easily list the lot up for $1,000,' he confirmed. Mat said it wasn't just the DVDs that were a hot ticket item in the re-sale world. Treasure hunters also be on the lookout for a VHS version of the same original series of the hit show. 'The original DVD series is worth a lot of money, but there's even more money in the VHS,' he said. Mat offered an example of his own recent sale of The Wiggles Sailing Around the World on VHS, which saw him sell a single tape for $200. The re-seller has also sold a VHS pack of '12 x The Wiggles' original series videos for the handsome sum of $749.90. Even though fewer people own video players compared to DVD players, Mat said there was an explanation for why these early Wiggles titles are worth more on VHS. When the Aussie children's group was first established in the 1990s, their initial fan base was local. Accordingly, when the original The Wiggles VHS tapes emerged during that decade, Mat says they were 'being sold primarily within Australia'. 'That means the supply overseas is limited, yet the demand is high,' he explained. Mat added that some of the biggest sales he'd personally had for the original shows on VHS came from overseas buyers. 'Not every eBay seller offers international shipping,' he added. '[But] I've had success turning on international shipping and selling overseas.' The original seasons of The Wiggles starred the foursome line-up of the Red Wiggle Murray Cook, the Yellow Wiggle Greg Page, the Purple Wiggle Jeff Fatt and the Blue Wiggle Anthony Field. The first seasons also featured a supporting cast of popular characters from the Wiggles-verse, including Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, Officer Beaples and Wags the Dog. The comments section of Mat's TikTok video lit up with excited replies from people who had located copies of the children's TV show in amongst their own home collections. 'Pretty sure I have them all!' replied one, with Mat responding: 'Sitting on a gold mine!' Another person added that they had the whole DVD series housed in a collector's 'lunch box'. 'If it's the one I'm thinking of, the tin alone is worth about $50,' Mat advised. 'If the DVD is inside and all discs working you could probably get $200 for it.' But perhaps the response that piqued Mat's interest most was a woman who said she owned a VHS home movie of The Wiggles performing 'when they were in university'. 'I haven't watched it in years and years - it's been put away and not played much,' she added. 'That sounds like it could be worth a bit of money,' Mat enthusiastically replied. Jonathan LaPaglia may reprise his hosting role on Australian Survivor thanks to a technical twist. In June, the beloved TV personality confirmed he had been axed from the Channel Ten show after a decade at the helm, and this month it was revealed he would be replaced by former contestant David Genat. Fans have rallied around Jonathan in the wake of the news - even starting a petition to see him reinstated as host. And there may well be a glimmer of hope for the beloved host. According to Woman's Day, Channel Ten's rights to Australian Survivor will expire in 2026, and Channel Nine is already eyeing up the reality series. 'Network Ten's rights to Australian Survivor are set to expire next year and everyone is worried that the show could be snapped up by a rival network,' a TV producer told Woman's Day. This would not be the first time Channel Nine has nabbed a show from Ten. The network has acquired The Bachelor and The Golden Bachelor in recent years. Jonathan is said to already be in talks with Nine, who have 'promised' to reinstate him as frontman if they succeed. 'There's no doubt that Nine would bring back Jonathan LaPaglia and that would be the perfect way to make some noise and get the franchise back on track,' the insider added. 'I don't see this as the end of Jonathan's time in the Australian Survivor universe.' As it stands, Jonathan will front the show for the last time in the Australia V The World series, which will hit screens later this year. In a recent interview with The Daily Telegraph, he detailed the brutal way he found out he had lost his job. 'The speculation online was that I received an email. But no, it was a call to my manager in Australia,' he said. 'I didn't get a direct call, which, I'll be honest with you, was disappointing. 'After 10 years of helming their flagship show, it would have been nice to get a direct call from the people at the top, but I didn't.' Earlier this month, it was revealed that production was already underway for the 2026 season, with David taking over as the show's new host. David was recently spotted arriving overseas to begin filming the new season, but insiders have confirmed that 'behind the scenes', the dust is far from settling. 'It's a cost-cutting move, plain and simple,' a source close to production revealed. 'But replacing a seasoned host with a player who's barely earned his stripes? It's baffling.'
