Nothing Phone 3 Specs, Battery Details Leaked: New Upgrades For Flagship Phone?

Last Updated:
Nothing Phone 3 launch in July is confirmed and the new flagship device is likely to get some major upgrades to justify its price tag.
Nothing Phone 3 launch is confirmed for July 2025 in India and other markets. The new Phone 3 will be a flagship-grade phone made with premium materials as CEO Carl Pei had teased recently. And now, we are slowly getting more details about the next Nothing phone to launch this year.
The Phone 3 will be Nothing's fourth phone to launch in the market in 2025, and its first flagship device after giving it a miss in 2024. The new leaks will surely excite people about the upcoming Nothing phone and what it promises in terms of features and other specs.
Being a flagship device means the Phone 3 will either use the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset or go for the kill with the 8 Elite SoC. Going by the price tag teased by Pei, we think it would be the latter and give it a definite upgrade over the last Phone 2 model.
The device is likely to sport a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. Phone 3 is rumoured to get a 5,000mAh battery like the other models but we hope that Nothing adopts the silicone-carbon battery tech to use a bigger unit and increase the charging speeds as well.
But the biggest flagship-grade change is expected with the cameras and we could see the first triple rear system used by Nothing for its premium phones. The CMF Phone 2 Pro and the Phone 3a Pro were launched with three sensors earlier this year. But the stakes with the premium model and its camera quality will be higher.
Nothing Phone 3 should have a 50MP main sensor, clubbed with a duo of 50MP ultra-wide and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. On the front, the device is likely to have a 32MP or 50MP shooter.
The company had some bad news for the original Phone 1 users earlier this month. Nothing Phone 1 was announced in 2022 when it had promised three Android OS upgrades for the device along with 4 security updates.
We're now into year three and the Phone 1 promise of 3 Android upgrades means the Android 16 update will not be heading to the first Nothing smartphone this year.

The brand recently posted on X (formerly Twitter), saying, "We killed the Glyph Interface." What does this mean? While the company hasn't shared full details, teaser images suggest a new design direction — possibly RGB lighting, a mini display panel, or modular elements. This means the Nothing Phone 3 specifications could include a fresh look while staying true to the company's minimalist design approach. A Major Performance Boost Expected According to Nothing founder and CEO Carl Pei, the upcoming Nothing Phone 3 will see a 'major jump in performance'. Though it's not officially confirmed, several leaks suggest that the phone may come with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset — a big upgrade over the previous model. While these features match other high-end smartphones, Nothing might include some software tweaks to optimise battery life. Nothing Phone 3 Price: How Much Will It Cost? The price of the Nothing Phone 3 is still under wraps, but Carl Pei has hinted that it may be priced around €800 (approx. Rs 92,000). Some reports claim a $799 price tag (around Rs 68,400). However, Indian tech experts believe the official Nothing Phone 3 price in India could be between Rs 60,000 and Rs 70,000, depending on the storage and RAM variant. That's a major jump from the Nothing Phone 2, which started at Rs 44,999. With a confirmed launch date, exciting specifications, and a fresh take on design, the Nothing Phone 3 is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about smartphones of 2024.
