Nothing Phone 3 Specs, Battery Details Leaked: New Upgrades For Flagship Phone?
Last Updated:
Nothing Phone 3 launch in July is confirmed and the new flagship device is likely to get some major upgrades to justify its price tag.
Nothing Phone 3 launch is confirmed for July 2025 in India and other markets. The new Phone 3 will be a flagship-grade phone made with premium materials as CEO Carl Pei had teased recently. And now, we are slowly getting more details about the next Nothing phone to launch this year.
The Phone 3 will be Nothing's fourth phone to launch in the market in 2025, and its first flagship device after giving it a miss in 2024. The new leaks will surely excite people about the upcoming Nothing phone and what it promises in terms of features and other specs.
Being a flagship device means the Phone 3 will either use the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset or go for the kill with the 8 Elite SoC. Going by the price tag teased by Pei, we think it would be the latter and give it a definite upgrade over the last Phone 2 model.
The device is likely to sport a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. Phone 3 is rumoured to get a 5,000mAh battery like the other models but we hope that Nothing adopts the silicone-carbon battery tech to use a bigger unit and increase the charging speeds as well.
But the biggest flagship-grade change is expected with the cameras and we could see the first triple rear system used by Nothing for its premium phones. The CMF Phone 2 Pro and the Phone 3a Pro were launched with three sensors earlier this year. But the stakes with the premium model and its camera quality will be higher.
Nothing Phone 3 should have a 50MP main sensor, clubbed with a duo of 50MP ultra-wide and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. On the front, the device is likely to have a 32MP or 50MP shooter.
The company had some bad news for the original Phone 1 users earlier this month. Nothing Phone 1 was announced in 2022 when it had promised three Android OS upgrades for the device along with 4 security updates.
We're now into year three and the Phone 1 promise of 3 Android upgrades means the Android 16 update will not be heading to the first Nothing smartphone this year.
