All 10 episodes premiere Wednesday, Aug. 13 at 3 a.m. ET on Netflix And just like that … the 'Sex and the City' saga comes to a bittersweet end. The legacy that began with the original HBO series over two decades ago now wraps up with a final farewell. In the sequel series, Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte have faced new crossroads and challenges (and a killer Peloton); they'll continue to move forward into the future, just not seen on our screens. Carrie has finished her first novel, but she's somewhat adrift after her relationship with Aidan imploded. Will she, like her protagonist, end up alone? Or will she turn a new chapter in life? Episode 12 premieres Thursday, Aug. 14 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO Max This TV reboot revives John Grisham's iconic legal thriller, giving a fresh spin to the story Matt Damon made famous in 1997. Milo Callaghan stars as Rudy Baylor, a fresh law grad who's fired from a high-powered firm on day one. He quickly lands at a gritty taco stand-turned-law office alongside the relentless ambulance chaser Bruiser (Lana Parrilla) and her sly paralegal Deck (P.J. Byrne). Together, they unravel a deadly hospital cover-up, putting Rudy in the crosshairs of both his old boss and an ex with a score to settle. Forget 'Suits' and its limp revival; this one aims to deliver a sharper, more gripping courtroom showdown. Episode 1 premieres Friday, Aug. 15 at 10 p.m. ET on USA (via Sling or Fubo)

Dave Bautista Set For HIGHLANDER and ROAD HOUSE 2 at Amazon MGM Studios — GeekTyrant
Dave Bautista is lining up two big film projects at Amazon MGM Studios, and they're both the kind of high-energy, fan-favorite titles that will be great for him. Sources say the Dune and Guardians of the Galaxy star is closing deals for Chad Stahelski's Highlander and Road House 2 . In Highlander , Bautista will take on the role of the Kurgan, the ruthless immortal warrior originally brought to life by Clancy Brown in the 1986 cult classic. He'll star opposite Henry Cavill in Stahelski's revival, which United Artists is producing alongside Scott Stuber, Nick Nesbitt, Neal H. Moritz, and Stahelski's 87Eleven Entertainment. The original Highlander followed an ancient battle between immortal warriors, blending past and present-day storylines, and went on to spawn sequels, a TV series, and a passionate fan base. UA fully acquired the rights from Lionsgate, with plans to potentially expand into a new series as well. Patrick Wachsberger is on board as executive producer. Bautista is also stepping into Road House 2 , joining Jake Gyllenhaal, who returns as ex-UFC fighter Dalton. The sequel comes from a script by Will Beall ( Bad Boys: Ride or Die ) and is produced by Charles Roven and Alex Gartner of Atlas Entertainment, Gyllenhaal's Nine Stories Productions, and executive producer Josh McLaughlin. This time, directing duties fall to Ilya Naishuller ( Nobody ), after Guy Ritchie exited the project. The first Road House remake, released last year on Prime Video, was a massive streaming success, pulling in 80 million viewers worldwide in its first eight weeks, making it one of Amazon MGM Studios' most-watched films ever. Bautista's schedule is packed beyond these two projects. He recently popped up in Liam Neeson's Naked Gun reboot, is set to star in Paramount Pictures' The Romantic , has the actioner Trap House and the buddy cop comedy The Wrecking Crew with Jason Momoa on the way, and will appear in Gia Coppola's The Last Showgirl and the Zellner Brothers' alien invasion comedy Alpha Gang . ‘And Just Like That …' Season 3, Episode 11: Romantic Tragedy
Season 3, Episode 11: 'Forgot About the Boy' You would think that Carrie would have felt a twinge of embarrassment at being caught by Lisette walking past her old house like a stalker. But no, Carrie and Lisette say a pleasant hello and embrace, even as Carrie jokes, 'I want my place back.' Is it a joke, though? Lisette invites Carrie to a party she is hosting the Monday before Thanksgiving, but Carrie later tells Seema she is afraid to go. She thinks seeing her old place might make her sad, which, if you know Carrie, isn't surprising at all. That old apartment has seen Carrie through every version of herself — single and coupled, young and not-so-young, struggling and thriving — and twice now, Carrie has given it up for a man. First, she moved into 'Heaven on Fifth' when she got engaged to Big, although she was miraculously able to buy it back when that wedding was (originally) called off. More recently, she sold it to Lisette when her new-old beau Aidan came back into the picture. He refused to set foot inside of it because of lingering trauma from when Carrie cheated on him while living there. To appease that self-centered man, she sold it again and bought the Gramercy palace, where Aidan and his three sons could fit. That plan didn't pan out, so she is stuck in a giant house with a beautiful garden all alone. Is that such a bad thing? According to Carrie's publishing house, it is. That scenario mirrors the ending of Carrie's first novel, which, with the help of Duncan's notes, is now finished and submitted. But her editor, who thinks the idea of a woman ending up alone is a 'romantic tragedy,' wants an epilogue — something a little more uplifting that gives the reader hope. Want all of The Times?
