
Man arrested after cars set on fire at Cork Airport Business Park
Gardaí responded to reports of criminal damage at around 1.15am. The Cork City Fire Service attended the scene and quickly brought the fires under control.
The man was arrested at the scene and is currently being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.

Garda probe launched after gang of men burst into Limerick pub armed with knives
Gardaí have launched an investigation after a public order incident involving a number of men at a Co Limerick pub. On Sunday, a group of men are understood to have burst into a pub in Newcastle West at around 10pm armed with knives and bottles of chemicals, Limerick Live reports. Limerick on Sunday night 10 August at approximately 10pm." They added: "Anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident is asked to make contact with investigating Gardaí at Newcastle West. Two arrests after cocaine worth €700,000 seized in Co Louth
Two people have been arrested following the discovery of cocaine worth €700,000 in Co Louth. As part of an intelligence-led operation, Revenue officers seized 10kg of cocaine with an estimated value of €700,000 in Dundalk, Co Louth, today. The joint operation involved the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, Dundalk Divisional Drug and Detective Units, and Revenue Customs Service. Gardaí arrested a man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s following the seizure. They are currently being detained in a garda station in Co Louth under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996. Gardaí say investigations remain ongoing.
