Chris Hughes mum's 'eye roll' moment as CBB star gives special shout out
Celebrity Big Brother star Chris Hughes has gushed over his time on the show in a sweet social media share, but revealed his mum rolled her eyes at one stunt in the house
Chris Hughes' time in the Celebrity Big Brother house was closely watched by millions - including his mum. Now, a week after the former Love Island star departed the famous ITV living space, the 32-year-old has revealed the moment his mum was left rolling her eyes at her son.
Taking to Instagram, Chris shared a photo dump for the month of April, beginning with a snap of him and new close pal JoJo Siwa posing on the tennis courts. Further along the reel, he shared a screenshot of his family's group chat with messages from his time in the house.
The first message from someone called Turk read: "I didn't see last night's episode but know he p****ed in a cat litter tray." His mum replied: "They both did," followed by an eye rolling emoji – referring to Chris and his new bestie JoJo, 21.
Chris captioned his upload: "This dump comes with a message of gratitude for everyone's love and support over the past month. Lots of amazing memories, and an experience of a lifetime I shall keep close to my heart. Thank you so much for some really sweet messages the past week, I appreciate them a lot and they gave me a feeling to be thankful for.
"Special shout out to everyone in the house, you made the ride a journey, friendships to last a lifetime, you all know who you are! So many moments to cherish. Also, thanks to the @bbuk production team for the seriously hard work you put in! ps; 'just spaghetti hoops x".
Other photos in the upload showed Chris loving life as a pirate in the CBB house, while there was a big focus on his newfound friendship with the former Dance Moms star, JoJo. The duo's bond has came in for intense speculation, with JoJo later breaking up with her fiancé at the show's after party.
However, both JoJo and Chris have insisted they are just friends despite their touchiness in the house. The Gay Pop star made sure to spend time with Chris right up until she needed to board her plane back to Los Angeles earlier this week.
And now eagle-eyed JoJo fans have even spotted a very personal item that appears to be from Chris in her latest post. JoJo uploaded a clip of herself on a morning walk as she talked about what she misses from the UK already.
She went on to tease she could return very soon, but some fans were left distracted by her jewellery.
One user spotted the star was wearing a ring that had been attached to her silver chain necklace. They also discovered an image of Chris wearing a very similar ring, and hinted it could be his.
They wrote: "Ok, I might possibly be delusional lol but the ring that JoJo has attached to her necklace in the video on her Instagram page today looks SO SO similar to the ring Chris usually wears!! Could he have given her his ring?!"
The idea was echoed by other users, with another writing: "Omg yes you're right."

Emmerdale and Coronation Street face major changes
Peter Fincham was the former Director of Television at ITV before Kevin Lygo took over. Fincham has suggested that, due to budget concerns at ITV, Emmerdale could move filming away from Yorkshire and merge production with Coronation Street in Manchester. The ex-ITV boss has predicted that following the recent announcement of daytime changes at the broadcaster, it's likely executives are looking at similar measures for the two soaps. It's the question on everyone's minds... Is Robert back for good? Read more here: Discussing the soaps on The TV Podcast, Fincham said: "You've got Coronation Street being made in Manchester, Emmerdale in Leeds. 'Could you imagine, rather like the daytime consolidation, that ITV will decide to have them both made in the same place under one umbrella? Big savings. 'You still keep Emmerdale set in Yorkshire, but it could be made in Manchester and Salford, which is a bigger hub for ITV. 'I don't think that's inconceivable — it might be being planned as we speak." Emmerdale is currently made in north Leeds, while Coronation Street is mostly filmed in MediaCity in Salford. As the ex-ITV boss adds: "The new hub for Coronation Street in Salford, it cost many, many millions of pounds and it was better facilities for all the people who worked on it in the old place in the middle of Manchester." "Both are uniquely set in Manchester and Leeds and that production model will continue for the long term. "It's pure speculation to say otherwise." The change follows news that ITV is making major changes to its daytime scheduling in 2026. The overhaul will see Good Morning Britain (GMB) extended by half an hour from January 2026, while Lorraine Kelly's morning talk show will be reduced to 30 minutes for 30 weeks of the year.
