Wu-Tang Clan: Rise of the Deciever Debuts at Summer Game Fest 2025
In what might have been the most shocking announcement during Summer Game Fest 2025, players are asked to save the iconic rappers in Wu-Tang Clan: Rise of the Deciever.
During the announcement trailer, players were called upon by Ghostface Killah to save his brothers—the members of the Wu-Tang Clan who have apparently been kidnapped by the titular Deciever. While not much gameplay was shown, Wu-Tang Clan: Rise of the Deciever looks to be a fast-paced action game heavily inspired by Hip Hop and anime.
The game supposedly features Afro-surrealist meets anime-inspired worlds of Shaolin and the Medium, increasingly difficult battle Chambers with fantastical enemies, customization to show off your drip and tailor your fighting style, fully supported three-player co-op with a social hub, and the ability to fight with the powers of the Wu-Tang Clan. Wu-Tang Clan: Rise of the Deciever will also feature a dynamic gameplay soundtrack, including classic Wu-Tang songs and new material, overseen by legendary producer Just Blaze.
According to a press release, Wu-Tang Clan: Rise of the Deciever began life as a tie-in to the movie Angel of Dust being which is being worked on by Ghostface Killah and RZA.'Creating Angel of Dust has been an incredible journey,' said Ghostface Killah in a statement. 'Bringing the story to life through film was just the beginning. Now, with the development of the video game, we are immersing fans even deeper into this supernatural thriller universe.
Ghostface Killah added, 'It's about blending music, storytelling, and interactive experience. I can't wait for fans to step into the darkness and discover what lies beneath.' No release date was set for Wu-Tang Clan: Rise of the Deciever.

Taking the stage at Summer Game Fest 2025, Neowiz and Round8 showcased a dramatic new trailer featuring a plethora of monstrous bosses and brand new gameplay for the Lies of P: Overture DLC. The trailer showed off some of the new bosses that were mentioned during our hands-on preview with Lies of P: Overture, as well as several new ones and possibly a new character who looks a bit like Jeppeto. Please stay tuned for what awaits Geppetto's Puppet.' In addition to the DLC launch, the base game will receive a patch with two new difficulty settings and two new challenging boss battle modes. The boss battle modes are accessible via the Hotel Krat Stargazer once players have seen at least one base game ending. The DLC will also feature an arsenal of weapon combinations and Legion Arms that provide unprecedented freedom to forge unique combat styles. In what was probably the biggest surprise of the announcement, Lies of P: Overture was surprise released during Summer Games Fest 2025. Lies Of P: Overture is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Build A Rocket Boy and IOI Partners dropped an all-new trailer for MindsEye during Summer Game Fest 2025, crossing over into the Hitman world. The trailer surprised fans with Agent 47 from IO Interactive's Hitman franchise. Agent 47 will be a future playable character in MindsEye for a specific mission. But IOI also revealed the fan-favourite villain from the 2006 film Casino Royale, Le Chiffre, will be an Elusive Target in Hitman World of Assassination as of today. The special Elusive Target mission will be available for one month. The new MindsEye trailer showcases the game's stunning near-future world, explosive action-packed combat, and the compelling journey of Jacob Diaz—a former soldier whose neural implant may hold the key to a global conspiracy involving rogue AI, corporate corruption, and humanity's survival. The Danish actor portraying Le Chiffre, Mads Mikkelsen, came out to talk about the collaboration with MindsEye and Hitman. 'Le Chiffre is a character I have always enjoyed—he's calculating, cold, and ruthless,' said Mads Mikkelsen. 'Bringing him into the world of Hitman makes for a thrilling collaboration. Players can expect mind games, high stakes, and twists that only this character could orchestrate. To succeed, they'll need to play their hand wisely,' Mikkelsen stated. The MindsEye x Hitman mission is the first collaboration announced, and part of the long-term content roadmap already planned following MindsEye's launch. In addition to the scripted campaign, MindsEye will be an ever-expanding player experience, with new studio-created premium content delivered monthly, thanks to the power of BARB's Game Creation System. Mads Mikkelsen returns as Le Chiffre, the iconic private banker to the criminal underworld, known for his mastery of games of chance and probability. A recent failed venture left him in dire straits, losing vast sums of both legitimate and illicit capital, and in a desperate bid to recover, he has arranged a high-stakes poker game at the Casino Monarchique in Paris. Agent 47 has been tasked with infiltrating the perilous event and will have to find his way to his target to prevent havoc being wreaked across the world. To celebrate the recent reveal of 007 First Light, players who play The Banker Elusive Target and who have signed up for an IOI account will receive an exclusive suit to redeem in 007 First Light. Resident Evil Requiem Announced at Summer Game Fest 2025
In an announcement that surprised almost everyone, the final trailer of Summer Game Fest 2025 was for the newest entry in the Resident Evil franchise: Resident Evil Requiem. The official ninth installment in the mainline Resident Evil franchise, the trailer took a markedly different tone than any of its predecessors. Showcasing a more grounded, realistic setting and tone that almost embraces that of Silent Hill rather than of the beloved zombie-filled survival horror series. The trailer seemingly showed off Resident Evil Requiem's protagonist, Grace Ashcroft, who must return to the location her mother was murdered in order to investigate a series of murders. Apparently taking place in the bombed-out ruins of Raccoon City the trailer also showcased a number of familiar locations as well as some new and terrifying ones. While Capcom has been fairly tight-lipped about Resident Evil Requiem, its official website states, 'Prepare to escape death in a heart-stopping experience that will chill you to your core.' The trailer seemed to show off a combination of more eldritch monsters alongside a human antagonist and possibly the return of classic zombies. Although it was hard to tell during the trailer what was gameplay and what was cutscene, Resident Evil Requiem may maintain the first-person perspective of its predecessors—outside of more cinematic-style cutscenes. But with how Resident Evil Village's 'Winters' DLC was able to adapt that game in third-person, coupled with the success of the Resident Evil 2 & 3 Remakes, it could mark a return to traditional form. However, players will have to wait to experience true survival horror as Resident Evil Requiem is slated for a February 27th, 2026 release.
