Dianne Buswell reveals baby plans in rare comment about Joe Sugg

Dianne Buswell has given fans a rare glimpse into her relationship with Joe Sugg and shared her hopes of starting a family. The Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer, 36, first met the 33-year-old YouTuber and author when they were paired together on the 16th series of the BBC dance competition in 2018. While they didn't take home the Glitterball trophy, romance soon blossomed between them. After the final, Sugg posted on Instagram: 'I may not have won the glitterball, but I've won something a million times more special.' Now, six years on, Buswell has opened up about their connection and future plans in a new interview. 'When Joe and I met, it wasn't until the show ended that we realised we missed each other's company a lot – our relationship went from there,' she told Prima magazine. 'We always got on, he was so funny to me, and I loved how creative he was. 'We've always wanted kids, it's just about finding the right time. I don't feel worried about taking time out from dancing. I just don't see the point in worrying. When everything aligns, it will happen. I have to have that vision. I like to practise manifestation, I'm quite spiritual.' The couple, who now live together in the countryside, are known for keeping much of their relationship private. But the Australian star said their fame doesn't interfere with everyday life, most of the time. 'Joe and I forget we're famous sometimes – when we're out and about, we'll be like, 'Why are they looking at us? Ah, okay, I remember,'' she said. 'It doesn't feel that difficult to have a relationship in the public eye. We're good at not taking notice of things that are written about us.' She added that the biggest challenge is maintaining boundaries around their home life. 'Sometimes people are obsessed with wanting to find out things, like where we live, so it can be hard in terms of privacy.' Read the full interview in the September issue of Prima, on sale Wednesday July 30.

Get to know Manchester contestant ahead of stint on The Great British Sewing Bee

The Great British Sewing Bee is back, and one of the contestants is from Manchester. Amateur sewers will hope they've got what it takes to make it to this year's final and ultimately be crowned the champion. Here's what we know about the Manchester contestant and the new series. What to Watch explained: 'Kit grew up in Surrey with their parents, brother and sister. In primary school, their mother started teaching their sister to sew sock puppets, so Kit taught themself out of spite. 'Kit then tried to sell their creations at school and got in trouble for trying to start a business! They picked up the hobby again at uni and have since been making a garment every week. 'Kit will often explore a haberdashery and look for the most 'awful' fabrics, on a mission to turn them into something beautiful. Kit also enjoys something (they call) 'pointless fashion', describing this style as 'so camp! Wearing something so utterly useless but looking fabulous'. Kit's 'pointless' concepts range from mesh hoodies to a coat held together with chains.' Prima explains that Kit now 'lives and works in Manchester'. If you've not watched the series before, here's how it works, according to What to Watch: 'Each week, the contestants must take part in three challenges: a Pattern Challenge to test their basic dressmaking skills, a Transformation Challenge to assess their creativity, plus a Made To Measure Challenge to create a bespoke garment. 'One contestant's creation is awarded Garment Of The Week by the judges, and another is sent home from the competition. 'The grand final sees the remaining three sewers battle it out to be crowned the winner.' You can watch the first episode of the 11th series of The Great British Sewing Bee on Tuesday, July 15 at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
