Know more about Sonali Singh, Diljit's manager for the past 10 years
Diljit and Sonali Singh had been working together since she featured as a marketing executive on the album 'Bhangra Paa Mittra', where Diljit Dosanjh was one of the featured artists, as per The Indian Express.
The manager first began her education at New Delhi's New Lancers Convent. After this, she pursued a diploma in aviation and hospitality management from Delhi's Rai Foundation, all the while doing her commerce degree from CCS University as well!
As for her career, it kickstarted around 2007 when she was a business development manager at Asian Business School. Her stunt there lasted approximately 4 years. She made a lot of switches after that and joined entertainment companies as well.
Her big break came after she was hired as Diljit's manager in 2016. Singh had little to no knowledge of Punjabi music yet still ended up joining Dosanjh as his brand manager, helping him work his way towards global success.
Sonali talks about Diljit during an interview
The manager also ended up being listed in the '2024 Billboard Women of the Year list' last year, after which she sat down for an interview and thanked Diljit Dosanjh for her success. She shared during the interview that 'None of this would have been possible without my best friend and incredible human, Diljit Dosanjh.
Being a global manager is only possible because I had the privilege of working alongside a global artist of the decade.
As I always say, everything I could do is because of you! Thank you for putting your trust in me.'
Sonali Singh has been cited as one of the reasons for Diljit's continuous success in the music and entertainment industry. She has also been extremely active with her social media platforms to share snippets and clips of Diljit from his jam-packed schedule.

Raj Kapoor's wife Krishna Kapoor once left actor and their home in anger, took Rishi Kapoor and other kids with her after she found out that...

Veteran actor Raj Kapoor, also known as the showman of Hindi cinema, left no stone unturned in entertaining audiences. While his professional life always gained headlines and appreciation, his personal life remained under public scrutiny. Kapoor was known for his habit of drinking alcohol. However, another major revelation about the actor was made by his son Rishi Kapoor when his autobiography came to limelight. In Rishi's autobiography, Khullam Khulla: Rishi Kapoor Uncensored, he disclosed shocking details about his father and his extra-marital affair. Rishi also mentioned how it affected the family dynamics. On several occasions, Raj Kapoor had been linked to many actresses. Reports claim that Raj and his wife Krishna Kapoor had many heated arguments due to these link-up rumors. However, it was Rishi Kapoor's book that confirmed his father's extra-marital affair with Vyjayanthimala, and Nargis, and revealed how his mother Krishna Kapoor reacted. In his biography, Rishi wrote, 'When I was young, my father's name was in the news for his affairs with many actresses. But the memories of the disputes in the house faded with time. When my mother came to know about his extra-marital affair with Sangam co-star Vyjayanthimala, the matter got worse. There were a lot of fights between mummy and papa. This time, Mother was not ready to step back, and she left the house with me. For some time, we stayed in a hotel, and later we had a flat in Chitrakoot where we started living. When papa realized his mistake, things got sorted out (sic).' Rishi also revealed more about his father's relationship with Vyjayanthimala, which caused multiple disruptions in their family. Raj Kapoor's extra-marital affair with his co-star was not Vyjayanthimala, but Nargis, which often made headlines. However, Raj and Nargis' affair never materialized, and later Nargis married Sunil Dutt.

Thug Life advance booking: Kamal Haasan's film to open with ₹12.46 cr, 2 lakh+ tickets sold despite Karnataka blockage

Thug Life advance booking: Kamal Haasan's film Thug Life is ready to debut on Thursday despite no show across Karnataka. The actor recently found himself at the centre of a controversy, which led to the film being blocked from release in the state. However, the film is set to see a decent opening day. However, missing out on the Karnataka circuit is undoubtedly going to cost Kamal Haasan who is also jointly backing the film. According to film industry tracker Sacnilk, Thug Life has collected a gross of ₹ 5.02 crore from ticket sales in all languages. The film will be out in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu languages. It will also be available in IMAX 2D format. Considering all formats, Kamal Haasan's film has so far sold 2,95,456 tickets for 10,678 shows across India, excluding Karnataka. Considering blocked seats, Thug Life is set to see a massive opening with ₹ 12.46 crore gross earnings. The film is set to clash with Sajid Nadiawala's Housefull 5 which has now generated way less money from advance booking. The movie is likely to premiere with ₹ 5.67 crore gross earnings. While Karnataka is out of the picture for Thug Life, states like Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra, followed by Gujarat, top the list with maximum revenue from the advance booking for the first day in all versions. Thug Life is a gangster action drama film, directed by Mani Ratnam. It is co-written by Kamal Haasan, who is also jointly producing the film under his banner Raaj Kamal Films International. Madras Talkies and Red Giant Movies are also backing the film. Besides Kamal Haasan, it also features Silambarasan, Trisha Krishnan, Abhirami, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Ashok Selvan, Joju George, Nassar, Ali Fazal, Rohit Saraf and Baburaj. The film marks the reunion of Haasan and Ratnam after they collaborated on their 1987 film, Nayakan. The film landed in controversy after Haasan said, "Kannada was born out of Tamil' during the film event. Predicting the fate of the film amid the row, film trade insider Ramesh Bala posted on X, formerly Twitter, 'The anticipation is huge for the biggest film of the year #ThugLife. The promotional material impressed everyone. We can expect, solid action and Phenomenal performances from leads #KamalHaasan, #SilambarasanTR, #Trisha, #JojuGeorge & others. With themes rumored to explore action, identity, and rebellion, #ThugLife is expected to be more than just a commercial entertainer. Excited for tomorrow.'
