Brooklyn Beckham UNFOLLOWS brothers Cruz and Romeo despite appearing to offer an olive branch in family feud with sweet birthday tribute to sister Harper

Daily Mail11-07-2025
Brooklyn Beckham has unfollowed his brothers Cruz and Romeo, despite appearing to offer an olive branch with his birthday tribute to sister Harper amid the family feud.
The eldest son of Victoria and David Beckham, 26, paid tribute to Harper as she turned 14 on Thursday - in a surprise move amid speculation he wouldn't reach out to his sibling.
It appears Brooklyn's relationship with his brother Cruz has deteriorated following his shock decision to unfollow him.
Brooklyn and Romeo have been living a somewhat fractious relationship over the last few months following claims Romeo's ex-girlfriend Kim Turnbull was the reason behind their rift.
Kim addressed the speculation June 16 and insisted she has only ever had a friendship with the eldest Beckham son.
Brooklyn's birthday tribute to Harper marks his first public interaction with his family since he paid tribute to his grandmother Sandra on 26 June, despite remaining silent and shunning his father's 50th birthday earlier the same month.
Earlier on Thursday, the family matriarch Victoria and her son Romeo were the first members of the Beckham family to share tributes to daughter Harper as she celebrated her 14th birthday while Brooklyn later followed suit.
In a statement to the alleged friction, Brooklyn and his wife Nicola - who shared the same post - left his parents out of the post, despite the image being taken at Victoria's Paris Fashion Week show in September.
Harper's big day was at risk of widening the rift between David and Victoria and their eldest son, had he not reached out and put differences aside. His post came shortly before David then wished Harper a happy birthday.

Sources close to the family have told MailOnline of their fears that Brooklyn and his wife Nicola, 30, have also distanced themselves from Harper after they failed to visit her when they flew into London in May to film an advert for French-Italian clothing brand Moncler just over a mile from the family home in Holland Park.
In her own tribute to her daughter, fashion designer, 51, took to Instagram and shared several snaps of her youngest taken over the years, in a move which further showcased Brooklyn's absence following rumoured fall-out over his actress wife.
Alongside the her post, Victoria wrote: 'Happy birthday to my world!! You are my everything and I'm so proud of the strong, confident, kind and talented young lady you are becoming.
'You're my best friend and I'm so lucky I get to be your mummy. We love you so so much!! Enjoy your special day!! ❤️ Kisses @davidbeckham xxx'.
The snaps included an adorable photo of Harper in a pink dress and tights and another of her perched on a motorbike with her father David.
Victoria also posted a photo of herself cradling Harper when she was a toddler and another of her on the beach where she wrote in the sand: 'I love mummy and daddy'.
Other shots included one of David cradling his daughter as a baby and an adorable clip of her singing along to Carly Rae Jepsen's hit song Call Me Maybe.
Romeo, 22, was the first sibling to send his well wishes to Harper as he shared a photo of the pair at an event together.
He wrote: 'Happy 14th to the most amazing human there is, love you always and forever.'
Romeo and his other siblings were actually beaten to the punch by Cruz Beckham's girlfriend Jackie Apostel who shared her own sweet message for Harper.
The songwriter, 29, shared a photo of herself and Harper sunbathing aboard a yacht and wrote: 'Happy 14th birthday beautiful girl!'
She then shared another photo of the pair backstage at Victoria's Paris Fashion Week show in September last year.
Cruz also shared a sweet snap with his sister to mark the day.
Victoria also showed off Harper's musical ability as she shared a clip of her playing the flute and another of her singing along to Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe

David and Victoria had no idea whether Brooklyn, who Harper has idolised since she was a little girl, would message her privately or publicly on Instagram because they have no communication with him.
It comes as tensions have continued to bubble in the past few weeks with a series of digs and jibes from camp Nicola and Brooklyn.
On Wednesday aspiring chef Brooklyn shared a cooking video accompanied by a song which referred to not feeling like he has the confidence to speak up and finally feeling empowered - in a seemingly subtle but defiant message.
And on the same day Nicola made a bizarre nod to father-in-law David as she sported a replica pair of the iconic football shorts he wore for his England debut in the 90s while out on her family's superyacht.
She was also keen to flaunt her close family bonds during the holiday to St Tropez as she shared gushing Instagram posts about her brothers on Monday.
Nicola continued to publicly praise and share admiration for her billionaire family on social media amid her husband's family feud.
The actress took to Instagram to share a series of photographs in which she gushed over her billionaire father Nelson Peltz and joked that her Labubu dolls were her family.
That came after she and Brooklyn shared photographs of themselves on social media attending Nelson's family birthday celebrations - painfully echoing the very similar celebrations they chose to snub for David's own recent birthday.
And amid the escalating feud last week Romeo stepped in as he shared a very pointed statement about 'appreciating people that love you' and insisted 'life was too short' to not tell people you care about them.
While Nicola revels in her happy life with her family, Brooklyn risks ruining his 'close bond' with sister Harper by overshadowing her birthday.
Should Brooklyn not message, friends of the Beckhams predict that it will be a 'huge moment' in the feud, which escalated when the couple didn't attend any of David's 50th celebrations which took place between the end of March and the beginning of May.
One source said: 'Brooklyn and Harper used to be inseparable. He adored her, he hopefully still does, but the problem is that Brooklyn has a track record for ignoring family birthdays now.
'It would be devastating for Harper not to hear from him. She hasn't done anything and she's only 13-years-old, she is the innocent party here.
'Harper's birthday has always been such a happy day, she's the adored little daughter so it's always so joyous but this is a tough situation.
'Brooklyn was 12 when Harper was born, he was so important in her life and it must be terribly sad that she isn't seeing him since the fall out with David and Victoria happened.
'David and Victoria very much blame Nicola for all of this but hopefully Brooklyn will see sense.
'While Harper doesn't have her own Instagram yet, the family thing is to tag her in on their posts as #harperseven.'
At the start of her relationship with Brooklyn, Nicola seemed to forge a strong bond with Harper. The actress soon positioned herself as a 'big sister' figure to the little girl, who is aid to have 'adored' her.
But now the couple, who married in April 2022 at her family's £76million Florida mansion, no longer speak to Sir David and Lady Beckham, with the couple believing that she controls Brooklyn.

Posh and Becks were furious when the couple didn't contact Harper when they visited London just weeks after David's birthday.
At the time they were also cross that they didn't get in touch with Cruz, 19, either because at that point he and Brooklyn had never had a crossed word.
Since then the singer has very much come out on his parents' side amid the rift.
Despite ignoring his father's birthday and his mum Victoria's two weeks before in April, Brooklyn did take to Instagram to wish the footballer's mum Sandra a happy birthday two weeks ago.
However, Victoria was devastated when he didn't do the same for her father Tony back in May.
Last week, Nicola addressed speculation that she was 'controlling' Brooklyn after posting snaps with her family and Brooklyn celebrating her father Nelson's 83rd birthday on the European getaway.
The celebratory photos were the latest blow for David and Victoria, after Brooklyn snubbed his own dad's 50th birthday - with many flooding the comment section to accuse Nicola of being to blame.
Yet she hit back by 'liking' a fan's comment that suggested Brooklyn had made his own decision.
The comment read: 'The fact people are in this comment section talking bs about someone controlling a GROWN man is absurd. The guy is an adult and can make his own decisions, leave them be and stop blaming women for everything.'
Amid his escalating feud with his family, the pair failed to publicly acknowledge David's milestone 50th birthday on May 8.
David and Victoria's 26th wedding anniversary also passed without mention, despite the former Manchester United and England footballer referencing Brooklyn in his own post.
David previously thanked wife Victoria for their 'beautiful children' as the couple both acknowledged estranged son Brooklyn while celebrating their anniversary on July 4.
The former footballer who also shares sons Romeo, 20, and Cruz, 22 with the ex Spice Girl shared a series of throwback snaps of the family in happier times.
Declaring his love for Victoria, who he referred to as Lady Beckham following his Knighthood, he wrote: '26 years today you said YES to me Happy Anniversary and thank you for giving me our beautiful children and building the life that we have together.'
He went on to tag his children including estranged son Brooklyn.
Victoria, 51, also tagged her eldest son, captioning her post: 'Another year, another chapter in our love story.
'I'm so proud of the beautiful family and life we've built together. You and our four incredible children complete me. I love you so much @davidbeckham. Here's to 26 years!!'
Despite the apparent olive branch, insiders believe Brooklyn will not be in attendance when Harper turns 14.
Rumours of a rift between the eldest son and his parents began when Brooklyn was noticeably silent on his former Spice Girl mother's birthday, a far cry from his usual sweet posts about her.
Neither the former photographer nor his wife wished Victoria a happy 51st, while David, Romeo and Cruz posted gushing messages.
And as well as snubbing dad David's birthday online, he also was notably absent from all of his 50th birthday celebrations - including a boys' fishing trip.

The actress also continued to publicly praise and share admiration for her billionaire family on social media amid her husband's family feud
Despite flying to London at the time, Brooklyn and Nicola also didn't attend the big family party at the Beckhams' Cotswolds home or an idyllic trip to France or a meal at Notting Hill restaurant, Core.
Brooklyn reportedly 'told his famous family that he wants no contact' with them last month in the latest devastating turn of their ongoing feud.
According to reports, the eldest Beckham boy has had no communication with his family following father David's knighthood being announced last month and only learned of the news in the media alongside the rest of the world.
Denying he'd asked for no contact, a source close to Brooklyn told the publication: 'Everyone's focus should be David Beckham 's great honour'.Meanwhile a source close to Brooklyn also denied the claims as they told MailOnline, 'this seems to be another deliberate attempt to misrepresent the truth, and it only serves to distract from this honor being bestowed on Brooklyn's father.'

Jess Glynne finally meets Jet2 holiday voiceover star Zoe Lister as their aeroplane advert goes viral

Jess Glynne has finally met the Jet2 holiday voiceover star Zoe Lister after their aeroplane advert became the latest trend on TikTok. Their viral sound has been all over social media this summer - with users adding the soundtrack over clips of travel fails - and while their advert has become a favourite for influencers, Jess, 35, and Zoe, 43, have never officially met. Now the duo have given their fans what they wanted as they recreated the advert live in the Capital Breakfast studio. Speaking with Jordan North and Chris Stark on their morning show, Zoe revealed that she has developed such a close bond with the singer that she feels she is 'in her band'. Referring to the song, Jordan said: 'It genuinely is a banger. You go in any club, and it sounds so good.' To which Chris said: 'But it's wild how you always hear that song whenever you go on a plane and then it's in the advert. 'And then, for reasons no one really understands, this summer, it just exploded on TikTok. Has it surprised you how massive this has all gone?' Jess replied: 'Yeah, it's a massive surprise one hundred per cent. It's the most amazing thing to see though. 'It's mad because I feel like when I do my gigs, I feel like when I go to sing the hook, I feel like they're waiting for me to go ''nothing beats a Jet 2 holiday''. It is tempting but I need to take this seriously it can't be a joke.' Chris replied: 'Well, we want to make this moment happen Jess. I'm not going to lie we want to do something very special this morning. 'The whole of the UK is so excited about this. I've had so many messages over the weekend. So, we've not just invited you guys. 'Obviously Rudimental are here, Jess Glynne you're here, we've also invited the voice of the Jet 2 holiday advert. She's here, please welcome to the show Zoe! To which Zoe quipped: 'We're bonded I feel like I'm basically in your band now To finish the conversation, Chris said: 'The dream here is getting you guys to do the sound, that everyone is hearing, live together!' Speaking with Jordan North and Chris Stark on their morning show, Zoe revealed that she has developed such a close bond with the singer that she feels she is 'in her band' It took a while for people to realise that the voice behind the viral - and widely spoofed - Jet2Holidays advert belongs to the British soap actress. The UK-based organisation's ad, which features popstar Jess's 'Hold My Hand', shows a family of four enjoying a fun-filled holiday abroad while the voiceover skips through the offers and discounts available. The high-energy voice that viewers hear throughout the 30-second 'Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday' ad has become almost as distinctive as Glynne's UK chart-topping track - but until recently people had no idea that it belonged to ex-Hollyoaks actress Zoë. Zoe played Zoe Carpenter in the Channel 4 show between 2006 and 2010, making a brief return in April 2017. A writer as well as a performer, mother-of-two Zoe has also contributed to 56 episodes of the soap, which marked its 30th anniversary this year. Other past acting jobs include roles in Midsomer Murders, Crime Stories and Staff Room. According to her management company Harvey Voice's website, she has been the voice of Jet2Holidays for four years. Yet, it was only relatively recently that the mother-of-two revealed herself as the voice of the ad on TikTok - much to fans' delight.

Love Island spoilers: Yasmin and Dejon finally clear the air after brutal snub as he celebrates huge milestone with Meg

Love Island's Yasmin and Dejon finally clear the air after locking horns, before Dejon celebrates a huge milestone with Meg during Monday's episode of the programme. It's fair to say that the most recent episodes of the ITV2 dating show have been full of dramatic twist and turns. Sunday's instalment saw the Islanders take part in a kissing game - after which fans slammed 'disrespectful' Dejon for his 'rude' behaviour towards Yasmin. And this evening (July 21 2025), fans will see the pair put their awkward argument behind them. Dejon pulls Yasmin for a chat and says: 'First off, I just want to say apologies for yesterday when you came over to have a conversation and I said no. 'I felt bad… like I denied you that opportunity.' 'For me it was more so in the challenge, you gave me a zero… I would've had more respect if you'd have said something like "I didn't kiss her out of respect for Meg as we're exclusive" but you made out like it was me,' Yasmin tells him. But Dejon tells her that he was 'just making jokes'. So Yasmin tells him: 'It sounded like it was on me, that's why it got my back up a little bit.' Dejon says to Yasmin: 'I was just joking but if you took it offensively, I apologise.' And Yasmin jokes: 'I hope that pasta was good, though.' Dejon also gets to go on a date with Meg. She receives a text which says: 'Meg, it's time for you and Dejon to capture some memories on a romantic sunset date. 'Please get ready to leave the Villa. #TeamPixel #GoldenHour.' The pair, who have been together from the very start of the series, chat about how they think their families will perceive them. Dejon says: 'Our first date, first time out the Villa, everything has led up to this…' Love is definitely in the air as Conor and Shakira also have a serious conversation about their feelings. Conor tells her: 'We're both saying we're open, and single… I don't want it to be, but I suppose that's what it is until it isn't.' But Shakira tells him: 'I only want to speak to you.' 'Sometimes I feel like I give more energy than you do,' Conor confesses. Shakira then opens up about why she thinks he feels that way. She says: 'Yeah, because I've put my walls up because I've been hurt. And when you start to like someone, then you put yourself at risk of being hurt. And I don't know if you're 100%...' He tries to tell her that he isn't interested in anyone else. 'For you? I'm like 200% for you,' Conor he presses. Shakira then confesses to him that she really likes him, but the past drama in the villa has made her put her guard up. 'I really like you, but I don't want you to hurt me. Harry really hurt me and it was really hard. 'He really made a fool out of me and it hurt,' she says. Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
