Officer-involved shooting closes I-29 in Northland
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police are investigating an officer-involved shooting on Interstate 29 that is causing traffic delays Thursday morning.
KCPD said the shooting was reported near Interstate 29 and Interstate 435. The area of the shooting is just east of the Kansas City International Airport.

KCPD said multiple agencies were involved. According to KC Scout, I-29 is closed as of 8 a.m. Thursday.
KCPD officers were not involved in the shooting, according to the department.

KCPD investigating motorcycle crash in West Bottoms; driver ejected
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Police Department is investigating a motorcycle crash that happened early Friday morning in the West Bottoms. According to KCPD, around 12:30 a.m., a person driving a Kawasaki Ninja Motorcycle was speeding west on West 12th Street when they missed the curve.
