New on Netflix in March 2025: Every movie and TV show, including pivotal Manson family documentary
Spring is en route – and while it might (hopefully) be getting warmer outside, Netflix has plenty of options to keep you fixed to your sofa.
Among the highlights for March, which will see the removal of Netflix's 'best' original film, are new adventure film The Electric State starring Millie Bobby Brown, a new Meghan Markle cookery series previously delayed due to the Los Angeles wildfires, and one-shot drama Adolescence from Boiling Point duo Stephen Graham and Philip Barantini.
This month, Errol Morris, who directed seminal true-crime documentary The Thin Blue Line (1988), will also release his latest, which sees him question 'the complex narrative of the Manson family murders' by 'challenging the official accounts of the most infamous killing spree of the 1960s'.
Morris told Netflix: 'I've found myself trapped in a number of different true-crime stories, and the Manson murders are peculiar. You could encapsulate the mystery in just one question: How is it that Manson managed to convince the people around him that killing was OK?'

Topping the 2025 Pride List is Victoria McCloud, a lawyer, former judge and transgender woman who announced she would take the Government to the European Court of Human Rights over the Supreme Court's ruling on the definition of a woman. Dr McCloud said: 'I'm delighted and honoured that The Independent has included me in its Pride List this year. 'In 2025, more than ever before, amidst increasing oppression and segregation at home, with court and state against us, people from the trans community yearn to be bathed in rainbow light. 'These are uniquely dark times but we will challenge those who wish to marginalise us, be they Government or activists with money and the odd mega-yacht to spare. 'We have been here for centuries; we will be here for centuries to come. The quiet majority walk with us.' In April the UK's highest court unanimously ruled that the terms woman and sex in the Equality Act 'refer to a biological woman and biological sex'. Brit pop icon Adele thanks Netflix hit Adolescence for 'changing her relationship with her son' in heartwarming letters
Brit pop star Adele has written letters of thanks to the creators of the Netflix hit series Adolescence. The singer, 37, told director Philip Barantini, 44, that she made a point of watching the hard-hitting crime drama with her 13-year-old son, Angelo. Adele praised the series for 'changing her relationship' with Angelo, whom she shares with ex-husband Simon Konecki, 51. Adolescence, starring Owen Cooper and Stephen Graham, follows the story of a 13-year-old schoolboy accused of murdering a classmate after being radicalised by misogynistic online content. Director Philip said: 'I am getting messages, inundated on Instagram, from people from all over the world who can relate to this story or have really been affected by it. That, for me, has blown my mind a little bit.'
