Maya Jama's flawless look: From specialist facials to DIY hair treatments, how the Love Island host maintains her glowing skin and luscious locks
She's the face and host of Love Island, regularly leaving millions of viewers in awe with her very glamorous appearances in the villa.
Despite her busy schedule - which also includes a number of TV stints on shows such as The Masked Singer UK and Celebrity Gogglebox - Maya, 30, still manages to maintain a flawless look.
From her glowing skin to her luscious flowing locks, the presenter never fails to wow whether on screen, gracing the red carpet or even on social media.
But while much of her stunning appearance is down to genetics and being a natural beauty, Maya still gets a helping hand to ensure she looks her best wherever she goes.
Just days ago, the star enlisted the expertise of leading skincare expert Shane Cooper, who left her skin looking radiant, giving an insight into the process on social media.
From specialist facials, DIY hair treatments and tailored workouts, MailOnline takes a look at how Maya manages to maintain her super glamorous image...
FACE
On Monday, Maya filmed herself getting a tailored facial treatment, including red light therapy, from skincare guru Shane, whom she's been a client of for eight years.
The video, shared on his Instagram page, saw the star looking relaxed at his South Kensington salon as he worked his magic on her visage.
Captioning the post, Shane penned: 'Always lovely seeing @mayajama and catching up during her session. She's been coming to me consistently for 8 years, and we've built a tailored approach that combines advanced machines with my personal techniques to maintain that glow she's known for. Radiant skin, every time.'
This signature treatment, created and performed personally by Shane, is a one-of-a-kind experience that delivers visible, lasting results without injectables or surgery. Known globally for its transformative effects, it is the treatment many high-profile clients trust ahead of major events.
Indeed, Maya proved that she was a regular client as she was against seen at Shane's clinic back in February, following a number of weeks presenting the second series of Love Island: All Stars in South Africa.
Detailing her bespoke head-to-toe session, Shane wrote on social media: 'Combining a multitude of advanced medical platform technologies, this tailored approach is designed to target her skins specific needs.
'In this clip, I'm finishing her facial with the Exosome Booster, a cutting-edge treatment infused with high concentrations of growth factors, proteins, and RNA to accelerate collagen production, deeply hydrate, and enhance skin repair.
'This means calmer, healthier skin with a radiant, rejuvenated glow, making the results of her facial even more transformative and long-lasting.'
Maya frequently features on Shane's page, with the skincare expert revealing Maya often takes home a number of his products so she can maintain her glow in between treatments.
Speaking in a 2023 Vogue interview, Maya explained on her skincare routine: 'I don't use loads of products. I do get facials – I see Shane Cooper once a month and he uses HydraFacial, LED light therapy and this collagen-boosting warm device [radiofrequency].'
In addition to Shane's help, she also told how she'swears by' her very own Mij face masks and eye masks to give her skin some 'extra hydration'.
While she also credits CeraVe face cream for 'doing wonders' for her skin, while she 'douses' herself in Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate every night before bed.
HAIR
Maya's flowing raven tresses always appears to look immaculate and the stunner previously revealed the secret behind her glossy hair.
In her Vogue interview two years ago, Maya revealed she likes to use a homemade remedy consisting of olive oil, raw eggs, banana, avocado and honey in her hair.
After mixing the ingredients into a paste, warming it up and dousing her hair in it before tying a plastic bag over it, Maya then rinses it out after the eggs begin to smell 'like omelettes'.
She said of the treatment: 'It gives an extra shine and my curls are better and more defined. I think it's all the proteins in the ingredients. I try to do it once every couple of months, when I remember.'
In addition to her DIY hair treatment, Maya gets the help of celebrity hair stylists including Jay Birmingham and Ross Kwan.
Ross previously told how he would use bargain product, TRESemmé Lamellar Shine Finishing Hair Oil, on the star's locks, telling Heat magazine that it gives 'the hair an extra boost of shine.'
While he's also in the past credited Color Wow's Dream Coat for giving her locks some additional shine.
Sharing a video of herself installing the hair hack, Maya penned: 'My hair secret has been revealed! This fringe has saved many bad hair days over the years but it's always felt like an industry secret until now'
Meanwhile, Maya often uses Beauty Works clip-in extensions to give her hair some extra length and volume.
Elsewhere, the stunner revealed the her secret to avoiding 'bad hair days' - a clip-in fringe.
Sharing a video of herself installing the hair hack, Maya penned: 'My hair secret has been revealed! This fringe has saved many bad hair days over the years but it's always felt like an industry secret until now.
'It comes long so you can cut it in yourself to your preferred length or take it to the salon to get it professionally cut in. A God send when the greasy hair comes and you just wana pop out , pop a fringe on.'
BODY
The TV personality is known for her knock-out figure, and whether she slips into a racy bikini or dons a red carpet worthy gown, she always looks incredible.
And the key behind Maya's killer body is tailored workouts, despite Maya previously admitting to Vogue that she's doesn't 'love the gym'.
However, in a past chat with Women's Health, Maya told how she used a 'vigorous' workout plan to give her the best results ahead of a TV appearance.
She said: 'Before my trip to Australia for I'm A Celeb, I started a vigorous summer workout plan, which consisted of three sets of burpees, jumping squats and planks, followed by seated shoulder presses, squats, crunches and press-ups.'
And amid her hectic schedule, that star insisted that it is quality over quantity when it comes to working out.
She added to the publication: 'I previously did a South African road trip with [personal trainer] Alice Liveing for work and she taught me that quality over quantity is key. I'm really busy at the moment so it's easy to just say, 'I don't have the time to work out', and quit. Alice showed me that it's not how long you train for, but how you train that counts.'
She also told how she's 'absolutely loving' Pilates and tries to do 'one-to-one sessions with Marsha Lindsay at Nobu London' when she can, with Maya adding it's the only form of exercise she doesn't have to talk herself in to.
It's not just her body that Maya strives to keep in shape, but her mental health too.
She previously told Stylist: 'I just think [working out] helps your mental health so much anyway – there's a difference in how I feel if I go out and do some exercise versus just staying in bed all day. I notice how it impacts my brain and how I'm feeling.'
The stunner also told how fitting her workouts around her busy schedule is key, while ankle weights is her secrets to giving her workouts an additional boost.
She added to Stylist: 'Every morning I put good music on and dance around my bedroom or run up and down the stairs. I've found wearing ankle weights really useful, putting on thick socks and weights while I do my daily activities for some extra resistance. And I've got an exercise bike in front of my TV so I can jump on that when I'm watching something.'
Meanwhile, while she's good at working out, she admitted that she's not the best at nourishing her body as she's a 'rubbish cook'.
She told The Telegraph: 'I'm rubbish at cooking, so I swerve the kitchen unless my brother is staying or I'm having a dinner party. Lunch is always a pasta pot with a Greek salad, simple stuff. I eat a lot of carbs and enjoy meat or fish with potatoes and salad.'
In a further attempt to maintain a great body inside and out, Maya recently also had a lymphatic drainage massage treatment.
The Love Island host flaunted her flat, toned tummy in a seamless green bra and a nude thong as she posed up a storm in a treatment room.
Tagging her massage therapist, Maya captioned the post: 'Lymphatic massage done @deborahmarcchi.'
A lymphatic massage, also known as manual lymphatic drainage, is a specialized type of massage that aims to stimulate the lymphatic system, helping to remove toxins and waste from the body.
The treatment involves gentle, rhythmic strokes to encourage the movement of lymph fluid through the lymphatic vessels and towards the lymph nodes.

Tommy Fury pictured on 'wild night out partying with Molly-Mae lookalike'
Tommy Fury was spotted on a night out on Friday with a woman who bared an uncanny resemblance to his former fiancée Molly-Mae Hague Tommy Fury has been pictured enjoying an evening out on Friday in Cheshire with a woman who has a striking resemblance to Molly-Mae Hague. In fact, the woman in question is his brother Roman's girlfriend as the pair were spotted enjoying a friendly embrace. In pictures obtained by MailOnline, Tommy could be seen sharing a hug with his brother's other half as they chatted away at the Bubble Room in Alderley Edge. The publication stated that the boxer later headed to The Symposium night club before heading home at 2am. Tommy and Molly-Mae announced their heartbreaking split in August 2024, as she shared an emotional post on Instagram. It read: 'I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end. 'After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way,' she told her 8.6 million followers. In his own statement, he expressed that he was 'heartbroken' and asked for privacy. The pair first met on the fifth series of Love Island back in 2019 and went on to welcome their first child Bambi, in January 2023. Just six months later, Tommy got down on one knee and asked his ladylove to marry him as the two got engaged. Fans were understandably left devastated after the longtime couple announced their split a year later, but in a shocking turn of events, the reality stars revealed they were giving their relationship another go. In an episode of her Amazon Prime Video docuseries, Molly-Mae: Behind It All, which aired in May 2025, the influencer admitted the pair had reconciled. She had revealed on the show that they had split as a result of his excessive drinking. Explaining the reason for getting back together, she expressed: '"I love Tommy so much and I love our family so much that I'm willing to ride the wave. And that's not something that everyone wants to do, but it's something that I'm willing to do because I want my family. "Obviously, he knows it's the drink. He's not drank now for what, four months? I don't think the drink's gone away forever. Do I think that drink could still be a problem for us, potentially? Yeah, but I think the break-up showed Tommy that I'm serious. He's just really different these days,' she admitted. The two first sparked rumours of them getting back together when they were spotted kissing at a New Year 's Eve party before jetting away to Dubai for a family holiday in May this year. They went Instagram official again last month with a loved-up snap with their little girl Bambi. However, this time around, the mum-of-one has revealed they're taking things slowly and not rushing into things. The sports star hasn't moved back into her Cheshire mansion yet and she's been avoiding showing him in her YouTube vlogs – until now that is. Just last week, Tommy was back on camera again in her latest video diary as she expressed: 'The wanderer has returned! Like nothing ever changed.' The loved-up pair burst into laughter as he kissed her goodbye and told her he loved her.
