SHOPPERS have been in a frenzy over the garden decor at Home Bargains this spring - from the viral hot air balloon solar lights to heart-shaped wreaths.
But it appears that the discount retailer has left people divided this week after revealing a "terrifying" new addition to its outdoor range.

The £9.99 novelty buys promise to add a fun touch to shoppers' flowerbeds.
Described as "unique garden decor", the playful pieces are vailable now in stores across the country.
Store bosses say the Firefly Novelty Frog Solar Light with Animated LED Eyes is designed to "brighten up your garden" with no wires or batteries needed.
Instead, the frog absorbs the sunlight during the day to emit light after dark.
"This charming little critter features animated LED eyes that add a touch of whimsy while providing eco-friendly illumination," the description adds.
The "digitally moving" LED eyes are designed to look as though the cute creature is scanning your garden.
And if you're not a frog fan, Home Bargains also offers a .
According to the bargain retailer, the cartoon creatures are guaranteed to "bring safety, joy, and entertainment".
Some shoppers are already raving about the "cute" garden decor as they took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook, which boasts 2.6million members, to show them off.
Sharing a picture of the frog in her garden, one said: "Found this little guy today £9.99 looks lovely and so cute."
Home Bargains is selling a 'fantastic aquarium' and rainbow sprinkler for cheap - it's great for the warmer weather
Picking up the matching frog, somebody else added: "Love this garden light from home bargains!! Had to get it! £9.99."
"This is so cute I want one", cried a third person.
A fourth echoed: "This looks really cool. Love it! And cute too."
And a fifth added: "Awwwww no way love him."
But other shoppers have been left creeped out by the garden ornaments' moving eyes.
"That would terrify me", one person confessed.
Somebody else agreed: "Especially when it gets dark outside. I'm literally scared already of that snail.
"They should make a horror film about him would be epic!!"
Another freaked out gardening fan admitted: "I find these ornaments with big eyes rather creepy."
Meanwhile, a fourth joked: "Now I could just imagine put that in the front garden and coming home at night and forgetting about it and it s**ting the life out of me."
So if you're after something a bit less animated, there's a "pretty" garden solar you might want to keep an eye out for in store instead.
Especially if you'd like your outdoor space to feel like "the cutest thing ever" in time for those BBQs and sunbathing sessions.
And it will look perfect on your garden, pathway, patio, or driveway.
Sharing pictures of the Highland Cow Crackle Ball Solar Light in action on Facebook, staff at one Home Bargains store said: "Sorry but are you actually ready for this?

"Our Highland Cow range just keeps getting better, Hattie the Highland Cow is ready to light up your garden this summer."
The playful solar light features energy-efficient LED bulbs, and automatically turns on at dusk and off at dawn, offering long-lasting illumination without adding to your energy bill.
Powered by the sun, the solar panel absorbs sunlight during the day to light up your garden, pathway, patio, or driveway at night - with no wiring or batteries required.
And the best part? It's only £4.99.

Many retailers have flash sales across entire seasonal ranges – often these promotions tie into payday at the end of the month or Bank Holiday weekends, so keep a lookout.
Sign up to mailing lists of your favourite brands and you'll be first to know of special offers. It can be worth following retailers on social media too.
Use a price comparison site to search out the best value items.
And keep a close eye on the specialbuys at Aldi and middle of Lidl drops which drop a couple of times a week and usually mean great value seasonal items for your outdoor areas.
If you are not in a hurry to buy an item, try adding it to the shopping cart online and leaving it for a couple of days.
Sometimes big brands will try to tempt you into the sale by offering you a discount.
And always check if you can get cashback before paying.
It's especially worth using sites such as Topcashback, Quidco and app Jamdoughnut when buying bigger ticket items such as garden furniture as you'll get a nice kickback.

But when she scanned it on the B&M app - the usual way savvy shoppers come across unmarked bargain buys - it didn't come up. It also didn't have a price tag on it, so she decided to go up to the till to ask how much it was. And it was at that point that she discovered it would cost her just 10 pence. "Peppa Pig party bus at B&M scanning for 10p," she wrote alongside pictures of her new purchase on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook. "There was no tag and doesn't scan on the app - says barcode not found. "£39.99 on Amazon and Smyths!" The party bus is a two in one playset that comes with three figures - Peppa, Danny Dog and Candy Cat - and 13 party-themed accessories. "Imagine Peppa and friends going for a rooftop ride in the cheery red double-decker bus, then pop the bus into party playset mode to discover 3 floors of feature-filled fun," a description of the product reads online. "What will the figures do next? How about a dance party using the twirling platforms? Should the balloons go on the bus, or on top of the jukebox?" And after Annabel shared snaps of her child with their new toy, others took to the comments section to plan their next trip to B&M with friends. "OMG!" one wrote. "Why not in the Dundee ones?" another sighed, tagging a mate. "Someone buy me one and stick on Vinted for me to buy for a couple of quid lol," a third commented. "Can't find none near me!" Peppa Pig legacy PEPPA Pig first aired in 2004 and has since been broadcast in 180 territories and translated into 40 languages. Now it's spawned books, toys and even two theme parks, with the global Peppa empire now worth over £1billion. Creators Neville Astley and Mark Baker admitted they were initially worried the idea would never get off the ground, and that people at first, were bored of the idea. Astley explained: "People in the pub would ask us, 'What are you drawing?' We'd say, 'A pig, called Peppa, it's going to be big'. 'They'd lose interest and wander off." "Wow, as if," someone else added. "When they don't scan on the app, that's how you know it's deffo 10p," another wrote. "As soon as I'm back we're off out," someone else said, again tagging a friend. "Amazing find," another smiled.

Gardeners are racing to Home Bargains for ‘fast-growing' plant that's better than a Flamingo tree for adding privacy

A "fast-growing" Home Bargains buy can help to transform your outdoor space. Fast-growing plants can help to create natural boundaries in your space. Whether you're placing them in your flower beds or pots, these additions can transform your garden. And now, you can take this step without breaking the budget with a savvy deal. A gardening enthusiast shared the find on the Facebook page Gardening on a Budget. "Home Bargains, they have just got them in," she wrote alongside a photo of a Pink Marble Photinia Fraserai. The Home Bargains shopper revealed the potted plants cost £25 each. "Think I'm going to go back tomorrow and buy one," she added. The Facebook user explained that she's "always wanted" one of the "fast-growing" plants. Other gardening fans compared the buy to Flamingo trees in the comments section. Shayna's DIY Privacy Fence: Simple and Effective Many also pointed out how big the plant is expected to grow over the years. "Hope you have a large space for it as they grow enormous unless you constantly trim it," wrote one commenter. "I bought the red robin version last year for £25. It's grown so much. Was definitely great value," said another person. "I bought one from there last year and it's doing amazingly well. It's a good price too. I have mine in a tub," shared a third reader. Another Home Bargains shopper shared her experience with the plant. How to create privacy in your garden CREATING privacy in your garden can be achieved in a number of ways depending on your budget, and the size of your space. Here are some effective ways to enhance privacy in your garden: 1. Fencing Install a tall, solid wooden or vinyl fence. This is one of the most straightforward ways to gain immediate privacy. Or use lattice panels, trellis, or slatted fencing to add a decorative touch while still offering privacy. 2. Hedges and Plants Fast-growing evergreen shrubs or trees like Leylandii, Thuja, or Bamboo along the boundary of your garden can help with privacy. Grow a dense hedge using plants like Boxwood, Privet, or Laurel. It may take time to grow, but it provides a natural and green privacy screen. Use climbers like Ivy, Clematis, or Wisteria on fences or trellises to create a lush, green privacy barrier. 3. Outdoor Curtains Hang outdoor curtains around pergolas, gazebos, or patios for an easy-to-adjust privacy solution. 4. Sound Barriers A water fountain or small waterfall can help drown out noise, adding to the sense of privacy. Or install fencing designed to reduce noise if privacy from sound is also a concern. "I've bought loads of them from Home Bargains, I'm planning to keep them in the topiary shape," she said. "I've got the Red Robin and the Pink Marble, they look gorgeous when the sun catches them." Another customer agreed that the plant is "well worth the money". "Please bear in mind if you don't keep them in a pot they can grow to over 30 foot tall," advised one commenter. "Photinia look stunning as standards. As long as you continue to prune them or they will revert to a bush," agreed another person.
