Arisinfra Solutions' IPO subscribed 1.32 times on Day 2 of offer

NEW DELHI: The initial share sale of
Arisinfra Solutions
Ltd got subscribed 1.32 times on the second day of bidding on Thursday.
The Initial Public Offer (IPO) received bids for 1,73,03,085 shares against 1,30,84,656 shares on offer, as per NSE data.
The category for Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) got subscribed 3 times while the portion for non-institutional investors fetched 1.39 times subscription. The quota for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) received 73 per cent subscription.
ArisInfra Solutions Ltd on Tuesday said it has garnered Rs 225 crore from anchor investors.
The nearly Rs 500-crore IPO will conclude on Friday. The price band for the offer has been fixed at Rs 210 to Rs 222 per share.
The IPO is a completely fresh issue of equity shares worth Rs 499.6 crore with no offer for sale (OFS) component.
At the upper end of the price band, the company is valued at nearly Rs 1,800 crore.
Proceeds of the issue will be used for funding the working capital requirements of the company, investment in the subsidiary, Buildmex-Infra, for funding its working capital, purchase of partial shareholding from existing shareholders of its subsidiary,

Pvt Ltd, repayment of loan and for general corporate purposes.
Arisinfra Solutions is a B2B technology-enabled company, focusing on simplifying and digitising the procurement process for construction materials.

The 79th Independence Day celebrations on Friday started off with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 103-minute address — longest I-Day speech by any Indian PM till date. Addressing the nation from the ramparts of Red Fort, Modi paid tributes to the heroes of India's freedom struggle. As he went on detail India's standing 88 years after Independence, he also made a few key announcement in various sectors — technology, economic, job and security sectors. Here's a look at all the key announcements he made on Independence Day PM Modi announced that made-in-India semiconductor chips will hit the market by the end of this year, marking a major milestone in India's technological advancement. 'To the youth of the nation and to those around the world who understand India's technological strength, I want to say this: by the end of this very year, 'Made-in-India' chips will be available in the market,' he said as he underscored the government's push on India's 'self-reliance' in semiconductor manufacturing. He said that the semiconductor initiative has been taken forward in mission mode. Six different units are being set up on the ground. PM Modi promised next generation reforms in Goods and Services Tax (GST) by Diwali. These reforms, he said, will provide 'substantial' tax relief to common man and benefit small and medium enterprises, be reducing tax on daily-use items. In his address, Modi said the time has come to undertake reforms in GST as the indirect tax regime has completed 8 years. 'We have discussed with states and we will usher in next generation GST reforms by Diwali, which will be a Diwali gift for citizens. Tax on items of common man will be reduced substantially. Our MSMEs will benefit hugely. Daily use items will become cheaper, which will also strengthen our economy,' he added. PM Modi launched Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana for the youths of India. Under this Rs 1 lakh-crore scheme, the government will provide Rs 15,000 to the youths securing jobs in private companies. 'My country's youth, today is 15th August, and on this very day, we are launching a scheme worth Rs 1 lakh crore for the youth of our country. From today, the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana is being implemented,' Modi said. It is expected to provide jobs to about 3.5 crore youths, he added. Drawing 'inspiration from Lord Shri Krishna', Modi announced the launch of Sudarshan Chakra Mission — a major defence initiative aimed at protecting India's strategic, civilian, and religious sites from enemy threats. 'India is set to launch Mission Sudarshan Chakra to build powerful weapon system to thwart any attempt by enemies to attack us,' he said. He added the government aims to integrate the latest technological tools so that all the public places are covered by the nationwide security shield by 2035. Modi India is rapidly working on 10 new nuclear reactors and has pledged to increase its nuclear energy capacity tenfold by 2047. 'In the field of energy, we all know that we are heavily dependent on many countries for our energy needs whether it is petrol, diesel or gas… We have to spend billions of rupees to import them. It is very important to make the country self-reliant in this regard,' Modi said. Udupi: Udupi district unveiled the 'Shyena Drishti' initiative, a state-of-the-art CCTV surveillance system, on Thursday, marking a significant stride in public safety infrastructure. Launched by Udupi District In-Charge Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar, the project, funded entirely by the Udupi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) with a Rs. 2.5 crore investment, is the first of its kind in the state as announced by the minister. The advanced network comprises 621 IP cameras strategically placed across 207 key intersections, supplemented by 20 Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras at 10 critical junctions. Backed by a 4 TB storage system, optical fibre connectivity, and a four-hour battery backup, the setup ensures seamless real-time monitoring to bolster security, curb crime, and streamline traffic management across the district. At the launch event at the Udupi Service Bus Stand, Laxmi Hebbalkar commended the UCCI for its visionary public-private partnership, emphasising its potential to inspire similar initiatives. 'This project transcends commerce, reflecting a deep commitment to societal welfare,' she said, highlighting how the surveillance system will fortify safety in both urban and rural areas while setting a precedent for corporate responsibility. Police officials, including Udupi Superintendent of Police Hariram Shankar and Additional SP Sudhakar S. Naik, underscored the system's role in enhancing law enforcement capabilities and traffic regulation, positioning Udupi as a leader in smart governance. The event, attended by UCCI President Ammunje Prabhakar Nayak, Honorary Secretary Dr. Vijayendra Vasant Kadiyali, and Deputy SP Prabhu D.T., showcased a unified effort to elevate public safety standards.
