Sixers' Tyrese Maxey reacts to Pacers shocking Thunder in Game 1
The Indiana Pacers did it again on Thursday night to begin the NBA Finals. Kick starting the NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder, it wasn't a great start for them as the Pacers committed 19 turnovers in the first half, but that didn't matter in the second half.
Indiana buckled down as it committed only five turnovers after halftime and rallied from a 15-point deficit in the fourth to shock the Thunder 111-110 thanks to Tyrese Haliburton. The Indiana superstar drilled a mid-range shot with 0.3 seconds left to lift the Pacers to a Game 1 win and a 1-0 lead in the series. It was the only lead Indiana held in the game.

Fever Coach Stephanie White Responds to Caitlin Clark's Message Ahead of Return
Fever Coach Stephanie White Responds to Caitlin Clark's Message Ahead of Return originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Indiana Fever are playing against the New York Liberty on Saturday afternoon at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Fever guard and the Fever's star player, Caitlin Clark, is expected to make her return after being out for the past three weeks due to a strain on her left quad. Advertisement Prior to the game, the press had the opportunity to speak with Clark and she expressed that she doesn't anticipate being on any minute restrictions during Saturday's game. 'I'm not a huge fan of minute restrictions, I think they're silly. I told them, 'I don't want to come back unless I'm 100% full go,'' Clark said. "Why would I be out there to play 20 minutes? I'm out there to win and give everything I have for this team." Clark also mentioned that her rotations might be a little quicker this game, just because she hasn't played in a game for almost three weeks now. Chloe Peterson of the IndyStar told White that Clark thought "minute restrictions were 'silly,'" to which White laughed and responded, "Of course she did." "She's done the work that she's needed to do to make sure that she's ready to go," White explained. "I think the challenge for us as coaches and for Caitlin is just how long do we go at one period of time? We don't want emotional or physical fatigue early in the ball game." The Fever will face the undefeated New York Liberty on Saturday afternoon, with tipoff set for 3 p.m. ET. The Liberty enters the matchup with a perfect 9-0 record.
