Sanskrit varsity to publish rank list on June 16

The rank list for admission to the four-year undergraduate and diploma programmes of Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, will be published on Monday (June 16, 2025). Interviews for undergraduate programmes in Sanskrit, Music, Dance, and Fine Arts will be held from June 21 to 24. Classes will commence on July 1, according to a release.

The movie's team has made arrangements to screen six songs of the movie on the Leela, a former MLC and a professor, elaborated on the title of the movie. 'I know some people will have the doubt why a movie is made on lotus while there are many subjects available in society. According to me, lotus is one of the few flowers that have influence on great civilisations. Lotus has a special status in our country. We selected Padmagandhi as the title of this movie as it is apt as per the script. I am very happy with the cast and crew. The movie has turned out well,'' she said, adding that she got the idea of bankrolling a movie on lotus in 2016.
