The Green Bay Packers don't return to organized football activities until late July, but several members of Matt LaFleur's team have been busy with other events during the down period between the end of minicamp and the start of training camp.
Weddings and football camps have been the big events.
The headliner: quarterback Jordan Love, who married Ronika Stone in a ceremony this past weekend. Among the attendees was former Packers offensive tackle David Bakhtiari, who provided this look at the newly married couple:
Backup quarterback Sean Clifford also got married during the break.
Running back Josh Jacobs rode in the "Fastest Seat in Sports" to start the XPEL Grand Prix at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
Jacobs also held his football camp in Green Bay.
Tight ends Tucker Kraft and John FitzPatrick attended the fifth annual "Tight End University" event in Nashville.
Tight end Luke Musgrave hosted his first ever football camp at Bend High School in Oregon.
Receiver Jayden Reed has been busy, hosting a celebrity basketball tournament in Chicago, a football camp in Chippewa Falls and a football skills camp in Green Bay.
Defensive lineman Kenny Clark held his ninth annual football camp in California.
Like Love, rookie receiver Matthew Golden threw out the first pitch at a Brewers game in Milwaukee earlier in June.
Love also participated in Mookie Betts' celebrity softball game in Los Angeles.

Can Jordan Love shake off last year's fantasy disappointment?

Yahoo Fantasy analyst Matt Harmon is joined by Establish the Run's John Daigle discuss Green Bay's quarterback''s outlook in a productive passing offense alongside rookie receiver Matthew Golden. Hear the full conversation on the 'Yahoo Fantasy Forecast' podcast - and subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or wherever you listen. View more Video Transcript I get why you did it, but a lot of people are not discussing someone like Jordan Love in this range, and I think you did so correctly. I'm actually very excited to see what the Packers offense will become this year, because Matt LaFleur was hired in 2019, and look what happened last year with Jordan Love suffering two significant injuries throughout the season. Before last year, the Packers had never averaged fewer than 33 pass attempts per game. They finished averaging 28. Before last year, Green Bay hadn't registered any lower than a 58% pass rate in Joe Game script. They averaged 49%. Last year was not who Green Bay wants to be, and then all what they did was go out and had a first-round wide receiver who can stretch the field. So I do want to try to soak up this equity that no one sees and just win outright with Jordan Love, even in a one quarterback league, because that's the one person that no one's really tacking on while taking shots on their receivers to soak up this ambiguous target tree. Really glad you brought up, uh, this Jordan Love, uh, inclusion here because, yeah, it feels like Jordan Love's getting a lot of crap off of what happened last year, and it's a year where he was hurt from the very beginning of the season. Like week one in that messy field in Brazil, he hurts his knee, and I think that just cast the season off in a completely different light than what they wanted it to be. You mentioned from a structure perspective, also from a results perspective. Like, here's the deal, quarterbacks probably not gonna be hurt all year and the wide receivers probably are not gonna lead the, the league in drops again like they did last year. Although they, man, they were dropping the ball all over the place in their preseason game. I don't know if you caught any of that between, uh, between all the fun at the expo this week, but yeah, they were dropping the football all over the place, which not the best, but we'll move on from that. Over the last two years combined, uh, the Packers are 4th in touchdown rate. Uh with Jordan Love under center, obviously for most of those games. So it's one of the more productive passing offenses in the league. Where are you at with Matthew Golden right now? Jayden Reed's in a boot. Uh, Matthew Golden's been getting a lot of pop over the offseason. Uh, he was 3rd in success rate versus his own coverage among the prospects I charted this year, so I think a very good player. Uh, he's somebody that's steaming up draft boards, and kind of honestly, Dale, if we're bullish on Jordan Love as a sneaky QB one this year, I think that has to include like a good Matthew Golden rookie season. Packers claim WR Kawaan Baker off waivers from Raiders

In need of help at wide receiver with injuries mounting, the Green Bay Packers claimed Kawaan Baker off of waivers from the Las Vegas Raiders on Tuesday, per NFL reporter Aaron Wilson. The Packers waived cornerback Isaiah Dunn with an injury designation to clear a roster spot for Baker, who will be officially added to the roster once he passes a physical on Wednesday. Matt LaFleur's team needs an experienced player at receiver with Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, Savion Williams and now Romeo Doubs -- who left practice on Tuesday -- dealing with injuries of various severities. Baker was a seventh-round pick (No. 255 overall) of the New Orleans Saints in the 2021 NFL draft. He spent time on the Packers practice squad in October and November of the 2022 season, so there is some experience in LaFleur's offense. Baker has spent time on the practice squads of the Saints, Packers and Philadelphia Eagles, and he was with the New England Patriots during the 2024 season. While at South Alabama, Baker caught 126 passes for 1,829 yards and 16 touchdowns while also rushing 92 times for 376 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also returned 29 kickoffs. In 2020, Baker was a second-team All-Sun Belt pick. The Packers are headed to Indiana to face the Colts in a joint practice on Thursday and a preseason game on Saturday. It's possible Baker will be needed to play snaps late in the preseason game.
